It is an ancient name that has been used for centuries. *** Si - Silicon *** The name "Silicon" comes from the Latin word "silex," meaning flint or hard stone. It reflects the hard and brittle nature of the element. *** Ni - Nickel *** Name comes from German word "Kupfernickel", which translated means "Devil's Copper" Co - Cobalt *** The name "Cobalt" is believed to come from the German word "kobold," meaning goblin or evil spirit. Miners in the 16th century encountered this metal while extracting other ores, and the difficult nature of extracting useful metal from it was likened to the tricks of a mischievous goblin. *** Mg - Magnesium *** The name "Magnesium" is derived from Magnesia, a region in Thessaly, Greece, where a mineral called magnesia alba (now known as magnesite) was first discovered. *** Ag - Argentum (Silver) *** The name "Argentum" is the Latin word for silver. It has been used since ancient times, reflecting the historical importance and value of silver. *** Au - Aurum (Gold) *** The name "Aurum" is the Latin word for gold. It has been used for centuries to represent this precious metal. *** Pt - Platinum *** The name "Platinum" is derived from the Spanish word "platina," meaning "little silver." Spanish explorers initially encountered platinum in South America. *** U - Uranium *** The name "Uranium" is derived from the planet Uranus, which was discovered in 1781 by William Herschel. The element was named in honor of the newly discovered planet. *** Hope it helps a little :D
I don't know why I find this funny, but argent also means money in French. I learned that because on one of my silver coins it says "1 Oz. Argent Pur." A girl I was with at the time spoke French and asked: "Why does it say pure money on that coin???" when she saw it.😆

I'm only halfway through the series but I just wanted to drop a note to say how awesome the content is. Great narrative, excellent progressive growth with each episode and the gameplay really makes the game feel accessible. I am a complete novice to the game and the out of the box experience makes for a fairly steep learning curve. Your content has been invaluable in figuring out some of the mechanics. Thanks!
What a FANTASTIC intro and start to a survival series. I'm 10 and a half minutes in and I just have to say, this is brilliant for veteran players to have a small bit of a challenge to get started. Great idea, and awesome theme!
A idea, if there is one of the faction ships flying nearby, maybe a spectator cam peek at what's going on outside in the void before the outro. I'm always curious what they look like before they get torn to bits. ❤️
Very entertaining. Just a small advice : when you do mining trip, you should leave the bottles, that's about 20% of your carring capacity gone with them
Very cool to see more recent posts on this game. First time I played this I grinded the whole drop pad down and quit because I didn’t know what else to do 😂. Second time I downloaded every blueprint and spawned in in even though some of them crashed my game and I got sick of it after a day lol. Now that I know some of what to do I am playing survival and it’s a pretty awesome game. The stuff I don’t know I am having great fun figuring out. Never knew you can launch your ship to space messing with pistons 😂😂😂 (not really but it flew up and slammed back down and exploded) Anyway thanks for the series I’m gonna get back to watching.
When you have two ice markers at the same time from your drill sensor, one is terrain ice and the other is ore ice. You can only get 3 ore types per vanilla deposit, so the silicon magnesium deposit is actually a silicon, magnesium, and ice deposit. You'll often encounter the same situation in snowy areas and frozen lakes.
Thank you for the new series mate, you got me into Space Engineers a few years ago with the escape from Pertam series and I have been playing it ever since. So again, thanks for the new series and great video as per usual. Cheers mate.
Yay, a new moon start! Fun fact, if you launch any object straight up from the surface of any vanilla moon at about 90m/s, that is sufficient velocity to escape its gravity and reach space. It is actually quite easy to build a mechanical contraption that can propel arbitrarily heavy cargo or newly built ships into space, without requiring thrusters 😉 safe way = pistons, crazy way = rotor crane that gradually spins up to speed and then releases at the exact correct instant with a script. just a thought, in case a space elevator sounds like too much work or too boring 😁
There was actually a plan to do the rotor option here on earth irl. The project was scrapped from what I know. Called something like the space catapult.
europa was always a nice change of pace instead of having a relaxing start to a fast paced run for basic needs unless you meet oblivion when the batteries ran dry on the lander XD good times :)
There are actually tiny specs of stone on Europa. Patches of a couple around 5 meters size. But you have to look for those from up high. They come in groups.
You could add the ‘build and repair’ to act as a second hand for welding and grinding. You deserve at least one NCP helper! Also it can help keep things repaired or assist in their building allowing you to focus mor on the design. And a side-note, maybe you should put a mini-survival pod underground as a worst case fall back!
He could also use the AiEnabled drones to help as an alternative if he or anyone else thinks the BAR's are OP. I personally use BAR's as well as AiEnabled, but I know alot of people hate them.

There is Platinum on the Earthlike planet's moon if you know where to look. It is found 100-150m beneath a Nickel ONLY deposit, if it's Ni with anything else - no plat. I don't think this is true for any other moon though.
