So, after watching all 4 videos, is it safe to say that this transmission had shifting and very light shudder? But didn’t experience any winning noises or slippage? Thus the input shaft, output shaft, belt or clutch packs didn’t require any work?
Interesting series, had to mute the music... Question: I see only the valve body was replaced, otherwise all major components re-used. Could more frequent fluid changed have prevented this failure?
Thank you for your comment. All the major components were replaced. There are 4 videos in this series. No, fluid is not the cause of this issue, is more in the valve body. If the problem is not detected in time and the belt starts slipping, then the transmission needs to be rebuilt or replaced. Thank you, for the music feedback.
@@NissanDoctor Thanks, I did watch all 4 videos. What Nissan vehicle is this CVT from? I have 2 CVT's in my garage, a 2017 Rogue FWD and a 2019 Infinity QX60 AWD, so I am interested in keeping the CVT's off of any rebuild bench !
2016 Rogue. Check your powertrain warranty if you have any issues, but it’s not much you can do to prevent it. If you detect any judder under light acceleration take it to your local dealer to be inspected.
