- In this video, we try our newly upgraded tires, the Proline Badland MX 2.8’s on our Arrma Typhon BLX 3s for our first run. These are the unbelted RC monster truck/RC buggy tire that are highly desired. Our terrain today is a mixture of rock

Great job. Nice slow motion action. You even pulled off a front flip. Go Typhon !!! 👍 I went with Proline Trenchers and they seem to work well also. Mine are not belted either. The balloon quite a bit but seem to handle it on 3s. Thanks again for sharing. Awesome video. 🏆🏆

The 2.8 badlands are my go to tire for the typhon. Gives it superior air control for sure

Hey PhillyB I love the Badlands, won't ever buy a different brand ever again! I am hoarding 6 ahead in case they ever discontinue them. Have fun you all! Great vid as usual!! I bought the 14mm aluminum adapters for my Granite, expen$ive but worth it.
They are quite great but I’d like to explore a couple other tires also. Im thinking Proline Hatchets, any input about those?

Hey Phil, what is the advantage for venting the tires and what does the gorilla tape do?
Arrma vents inside the rims, i cover their holes with gotilla tape and add new holes on outside of tire, that way, centrifically dirt and water is forced to exit. The dirt and water will ruin the foam inside
Would you recommend them wheels on a typhon still ?

Well,perhaps a touch. For bashing, the sterring radius is excellent still. I m loving these badlands.

Why do people vent the tyres then?
This is so water and dirt leaving the tire. Centifically forces that stuff out! Only if you tape off the holes in the rim.
