Any issues with your stock diffs with these tyres? Or did you upgrade to natal diffs? Thanks!
@@suavedhaval1 For the most part no, but having decent throttle control helps. Defintely will always use these flr my 3s bashers. I like Trenchers secondly. Thx
I installed that same thing and I immediately realized without Shims, that part is just an aluminum replacement part not an upgrade. I fell for it too
@@propphotographyaz9992 ya, shims are key👌🏻
so you do not need a wider drive shaft when you install the wide arm kit? sorry for noob question.
@@nivin3 No worries. Correct, use the existing driveshaft, there is enough length there. Enjoy dude
Very nice track 👍 Greetings from Germany 🤙✌️
Thanx alot!

Where did you use the two nuts at
5:05 they accept the 2 screws that hold the wing on. there is a small hole they live in. hope it helps and thanx
@@phillybrc thanks I just ordered the parts and wasn't sure about the nuts thanks again
@@kennywhitmire9499 Anytime. Thx
Does anybody happen to have an exploded parts diagram for the 9000e? I need some parts and must have accidentally tossed our manual. Thanks in advance!!
I meant to check. Is it online?
The bread trick...ok, that's a first. 👍
@@Mosfet510 Awesome right?! LOL. It works!
Can I ask what screwdriver bit you’re using to remove the shocks, as I definitely need one of those.
@@Stevey1976UK Hi! Those tools are from Amazon, they have since stripped. The ones I use currently are expensive but last years without wear. You know that saying “buy once, cry once”? That applies here…a.co/d/cfo5YnO
@@phillybrc ah ok thank you. Was really hoping to be able to get something to fit in an electric screwdriver/drill as the little Allen key is painfully thin to grip. But these would sort that albeit with a bit of manual work lol. I’ll see if I can get something like this in the UK. Is it the 1.5mm to remove the shocks?
@@Stevey1976UK yes these fit drills and 1/4” chuck hand tools. The 1.5 is often for smaller pinion gears
what type of diff oil do you recommend for the arrma senton 3s im planning to use front 15k and rear 10k is that good?
@@morooks9310 that would be fine, I def would go thicker in the front.
Is it hard to change servo on the Granite? I have the v1. Nice video. I have both this:)

Would that work for the unassembled slash kit cause i was going to buy one but it looked like a hoss or stampede and it didn’t look good and it looks way cooler with the lcg kit on the slash in the video
@@Rceverything2 yep, you can install this on the unassembled kit. This chassis works so good too!
It does look way better with the lcg chassis

Belted version?

Hi. On 1.04 when you point at the bracer screw. I don't get loose the screw to right for the screw you point at. ( that screw with little rust on) It only goes around and around. Do you have a tips to get it loose? I am going to take an ALU parts on. Hope you can help. And sorry my English. Nice car!
Yes, I believe there is a nut on the back-side of this screw. You will have to hold it with pliers or similar. Hope I am correct on that.
@@phillybrc I will check that. Thank you:)
Great video but no grease on the gears?
I do add some now but i found these bulkheads allowed alot of dirt in, which (I felt) were killing my gears faster. 🤷♂️
sure would be nice to list the part numbers so someone can look them up
Well, that s an un-friendly way to ask. They re in the video.
@@phillybrc sorry to make you feel that why I did watch the video and I did think it was helpful but It sure would have been handy to LIST the part numbers or even link them so someone could buy them I did make it work I got on order and it was just a idea to be more helpful sorry it did not stroke your ego enough no worries I will not watch your stuff anymore I would not want someone like me to maybe support your channel good luck and have a great day

@@armandopace6113 Good to know , thanx for the input and thx for stopping by.!
Dude 😮 I've got to do that to my Senton, should I do that to the front differential also?? Vegas Paul here.
@@paulmaldonado7039 Hey man. yes,i do. I use 50k in the front i believe
The granite Mega could be made faster then the blx probably for a little more than what you would pay for the blx but you'll have a much faster granite then the blx. That's what I did on my daughters mega Granite and on my Vorteks boost version and both can run 65+ and I actually didn't spend much more than a blx.
Did you upgrade to the blx slipper assembly too? What electronics did you go with?
Tierod removal method brought me pain
@@Critter0817 my method?
@phillybrc yes at 1:51 with the pliers. Video was very helpful though. I 3d printed my shim and it's great!

Thank you. I've been looking for some info about if you use or how to still use your tower to tower brace with this m2c part. Every other video I've seen has skipped that part. Do you know a good aftermarket tower to tower brace to fit a kraton xl build or fireteam?

Shock Tower, CVD, Knuckles Is the essential upgrade for this beast !
Completely agree with towers and knuckles! CVD s have treated me well so far. THanx!
Back again visiting is my 4s was going great but now I'm at a complete loss I have tried as much as my knowledge so when I throttle all that does make a noise like the clutch is slipping except a bit more squeaky / hire pitch have open front centre and rear diff they all seem to be sweet and tight any ideas or any response whatsoever would be massively appreciated😊 🔩 keep up the excellent Work man no mucking around simply put and didn't notice before but extremely well-spoken and well-worded🙏✌️
@@dnbarracus Thanks for the compliment. Means alot. Well, just gonna throw out a couple things to look at. Pinion gear isn t touching spur gear (motor moved). I was having a problem with the clutch (center diff in your case) was breaking the back side of the assembly, this would be going to the input side of your rear diff. It was broken so no power delivery. Do you have facebook? Send me a good video through messenger and i ll try to help.
Informative. Thank you sir.

you dont have to shim metal crank like stalk one???
I havn t tried to be honest. Maybe i will.
@@phillybrc can Iuse my metal ball cups in steering rod with metal crank, looks like its to tight to fit in there might have to sand??
This is good to see how a normal human being replaces an arrma 3s servo. Because when i do it, it feels like a caveman doing brain surgery.
Hahaha. Honestly, I feel this is one of the more tedious repairs/mods on this vehicle. I feel a servo swap is much easier on most of my other brand rc’s. Thx.
Your video saved me time and aggravation 😅ty
@@robcanthandlestupidy9249 Excellent! Thanks!
Can you use the shocks for the stock Granite
Yes, you just need to limit(shorten) them a bit. I have a video how to do it
The springs were too stiff or long for my hyper 7 buggy, i put on rc8 springs to give me proper ride height. Really good shocks for the money, 16mm bore,4mm shaft, bleed cap, bladders, nice fit and finish. Only complaint is no hardware for the top. I made mine on a 3d printer.
Nice. Good idea with the 3d printer. The Axial bushings i used work great. Good product for the money.👍🏻
needs to be 3-4x wider ! Sick track thoguh
when my car is on even with stiff servo for sterring, I get bell crank movement side to side how do I stop this, I shims th crank but you still have bearing movement???
I think it s hard to get rid of all the slop. It could possibly be in your C-hubs also.
@@phillybrc ya the c hubs around tires sure move!!! will a metal bellcrank help at all??
@@phillybrc would metal c hubs and a arms help in wobble I think it would??
@@43rocket Not really. I suggest staying plastic arms. The metal arms just transfers that energy elsewhere and breaks other parts.
@@phillybrc the real problem with wobbles is shifting the c hubs, why did arrma make this huge wobble in the steering???
I get stalk bell crank wobble does this stop it????
@@43rocket it helps. A little slop helps parts from breaking!
Does it backflip as well with the wider arms as with the stock?
@@t3floz yes. Totally. All pros, no cons in my opinion. Thx for watchin
@@phillybrc nice man! How has it been holding up durability wise?
@@phillybrc do it get as wide as a big rock?
@@t3floz yes. Same width as Big Rock and Typhon. Check out some of my running Granite videos please. I have some bashing vids you may enjoy! 🤜🤛
Thanks man this is happening to me I was looking at shims but it’s hard to understand why it does that I’ll go rip it off and see if I can’t stop the play ! Ty ty
@@SpeedrunTnRC No problem. I’m still running these Treals and they are great. But with confidence. Thx for watchin
@@phillybrc yup what a weird way it was moving and doesn’t now because I took it apart thanks again…
I think they’re all the same or mostly but I took apart some Amazon OGRC granite shocks and was suprised to see a nice dampener with a nut on top as opposed to a dampener sandwiched with two e clips . Those are the absolute worst design imo , China junk on the Rlaarlo Omni has the e clips and they break all the time . Anyways for $30 some OGRC shocks are legit , big bore whatever they’re called . Totally fit the bill for my granite . The only other thing I’m adding is a center brace for the top and a globact alum steering thingy if I gets bad . Rubber or rings for the turnbuckles keeps em nice and non rattling . I seen dudes using m6 washers but the orange are defintely hands down better imho
Cool, you will have a jacked Granite soon! The big bore shore did well, but didn t find spare parts. I guess buying a couple extra for parts would ve been a good idea. Thx for the input
Instead of tubing, I use orings. Plus I remove the link rod end and remove the shaft as one unit (remove the bottom cap first)
Ya, i guess that would work too. Thanx!
Metal diff and plastic diffs are the same, they both strip at the same rate, plastic diffs are composite and not just “plastic” They are filled in with hardeners or reinforced with hard materials such as carbon fiber and other composite materials. So don’t worry, your arrma can last 1 year with those plastic diffs if you take care of them, to reduce the shearing risk loosen the slipper clutch screw, that will make the car handle much better and tolerate breakage during high stress. Also fix the gear mesh contact and just move the motor just a little bit, try to get that pinion - spur gear contact perfect, don’t make it too tight and don’t make it too loose, All you need is 1mm of play in there and that’s it. And by the way tighten that slipper clutch to the point where it is snug, spin the slipper if you feel it too tight, loosen up the screw little by little until you get the perfect feel to it. And don’t forget to put some thick and sticky grease to the diffs and the slipper.
What body is that?
@@joesant1943 Proline Silverado. Thanx
Your servo absolutely killed the receiver. The Vorteks has the same parts and it was my first RC a few weeks ago. Lost steering the 3rd day and transmitter wouldn't bind. Tech at HobbyTown finally found the issue and said that those servos have a gyro and the gyro causes the servo and rec to burn out. Solution he did for it was to put in another receiver without gyro (loses AVC but no biggie for me) and I have had 0 issues since aside from my own stupidity.
Ya unreal! I ve only heard of a couple more people that have experienced this. Thx for the input.
@phillybrc no problem!
