Even if it’s at the bottom of my ranking of the prequels and close to the bottom of my ranking for the whole franchise , still lot to enjoy:
    - John Williams’ score once again carries the film
    - The “Death Sticks scene” is one of my favorite Star Wars gags
    - Obi Wan vs Jango Fett. Great way to see a Mandalorian/ a Fett show off their skills and fight a Jedi to a draw
    - the seismic charges. One of the best sounds in Star Wars
    - The legendary Christopher Lee joins the Star Wars universe
    - While as a whole the film doesn’t have the best performance of his career, Hayden Christensen does nail
Anakin’s start of darkness at the Tusken’s camp. IMO he does a very believable transition from shock to sorrow to rage as he holds his mother’s body
    - We’re introduced to one of my favorite supporting Jedi Kit Fisto
    - Everything from the execution sequence on is fantastic Star Wars action

brilliant! was always surprised there aren't more reactions that are , "watching star wars with my son(s) (or daughters!) for the first time!" .. after all, George was adamant that these movies were best for a younger audience, who would carry the life lessons of morality and ethics forward into adulthood.. great series! cheers boys..

Her sister comments that she has never brought a boy home before. Her sister's kids play with R2D2, they are Luke's cousins. You also see his grandparents, Padme's mum and dad. th-cam.com/video/dObATBeTr28/w-d-xo.html

What a great reaction. The eyebrow wiggle and music at Kit Fisto had me rolling. And you guys excitedly giggling at Yoda was adorable lol. I'd love to see you guys react to the Mortis arc together since it's such a unique and complex storyline within tcw that explores the Force in a new way. I'd love to see Lewis' initial reaction and thoughts to it as well as what new perspectives or things you notice during the rewatch. It's one of those arcs that I notice something new every time I watch it.

I'm so glad you guys decided to watch The Clone Wars before Ep. 3. I think you guys should watch every episode since there are things throughout the show that will come up in later shows. Since you've seen a good amount of the show, you should just do reactions of the arcs you think your son would love. If you guys go all the way with this, your later reactions are gonna be legendary.

Many long time fans such as myself watched this in theaters, and there was a howl my nephew didn't understand when Yoda went into battle with Dooku, his father explained, "you have to understand, many of those in the audience have been waiting since 1980 to see Yoda in action." (Mind you this movie came out in 2002, so 22 years)

Loved the reactions! How was it for you to be watching the movie after having seen some of the Clone Wars series? I'm sure it adds a whole new appreciation to what you're experiencing.
The arcs I'd like to see Lewis watch are the original Mandalore trilogy (season 2), second battle of Geonosis (season 2), Nightsisters Trilogy (season 3), obviously Umbara (season 4), the Return (season 4), Shadow Conspiracy (season 5), Ahsoka arc (season 5), Orders arc (season 6).
It would be fun if he can get caught up and you can watch the Clone Wars together, but where he's just starting that may not happen. I'd suggest you watch the season 7 finale together but that may not be realistic. Thanks for sharing your experiences!

34:29 That part is absolutely amazing. At the time there were rumors that Zaifo Vias, Dooku, Qui Gon and Quinlan Vos were following the Sith Lord's tracks. They were on this secret mission. 1 found the answer and had to kill the other to prove loyalty and infiltrate. Another was killed before he knew the whole plan to kill Sidious and the other was left alone looking for clues.

I went to see this when it came out in 2002 when I was 8, 20 years ago, it was the first Star Wars film I saw in the cinema and I’ve loved it ever since, this was where my love of Star Wars truly began, I had seen all of them up to that point but didn’t really feel the impact til this film. Can’t wait for the next film but also Lewis’s reactions of clone wars. Yes you are right about S7 but I wouldn’t watch any of S7 until after revenge of the sith so he can see where a lot of it fall into place, no spoilers but that’s what I would do Kev.

Just a little tid bit. Count Dooku is the character's real name, just as Anakin Skywalker is Darth Vader's real name. The Sith are given new names. Just like Anakin was renamed Darth Vader. Dooku's sith name was mentioned very briefly in this movie. In the book adaptation they go into it further. But Count Dooku's Sith name is Darth Tyranus.

Temuera Morrison is the actor that played Jango Fett. He is also Commander Cody in Episode III. He is currently in some new shows. I won't spoil. You can probably guess who he is playing now.
Once Were Warriors is a 1994 New Zealand drama film based on New Zealand author Alan Duff's bestselling 1990 first novel. The film tells the story of the Hekes, an urban Māori family, and their problems with poverty, alcoholism, and domestic violence, mostly brought on by the patriarch, Jake. The film was directed by Lee Tamahori, written by Riwia Brown, and stars Rena Owen, Temuera Morrison and Cliff Curtis. It became the highest-grossing film of all-time in New Zealand, and has won numerous awards.
It might be unsuitable for younglings. Maybe Kev has a little watch before deciding to show it to Lewis. It is a great movie. Life changing perhaps. Morrison (Jango Fett) plays Jake Hekes and you will hear that he has a very pretty voice when he sings. The movie is violent, but so is Star Wars, the movie is great. I recommend that you both see it.
There is another one called "Broken English". Another New Zealand movie with the same actor.

Count Dookus Sith title is; Darth Tyrannus
"Darth" means Dark lord of the Sith, which is why the titles "Darth" and "Lord" seem to be interchangeble and both valid (Lord Vader)

I saw Attack of the Clones at the movies in 2002. Then I saw it twice more in cinemas. When the DVD came out, I bought it and watched it a couple more times. 🥰 I love it so much. Then I discovered some deleted scenes. The Clone Wars came next, please watch the 2003 cartoon. It is all action, and I am sure that Lewis will love it. 😀

You've left out the 25 episode 2003-2005 Clone Wars Series which I'd argue takes place between AOTC and the 2008 Clone Wars series. The first 2 seasons feature 3-5 min episodes, while the last few episodes in Season 3 are 12-15 min episodes. Every episode except for episodes 21 and 24 appears to be on TH-cam as. Probably worth watching them first if you want to do Clone Wars next.
