I really like apt 2, but I’m concerned about lofts having thin walls. Will I hear my neighbors voices and upstairs neighbor’s footsteps? Also how sensitive are those ceiling sprinklers? 🤔would love to know your thoughts and expertise!
Wood lofts are pretty awful for noise, but concrete lofts are great and don’t have any noise carrying! Sprinklers isn’t something I hear to be an issue in either.
i’m going to move in to chicago between june-sept next year. i’m excited to go apartment hunting! how far in advanced should i start looking and doing apt tours?
I’m a little confused. A quick Zillow search shows you can get a 2-bed in the South Loop for under $3,000 that’s nicer than a lot of these 1-beds. Is the 1-bed supply so low that their rental prices are basically the same as 2-beds?
Ask; need a 2 bedroom with elevator and pet run. Disabled single mom; but I don’t think I can go further north. Space 1 I like the best for separation of bedroom
What if I told you... you could buy an actual historic graystone a mile from the lake, 10 minutes from the loop, walking distance from an L stop and a Metra stop, and your mortgage payment would be less than what the cheapest apartment here costs to rent? I think this lady is working for the people renting these places... no other explanation. These apartments are such bad deals.
@aeimiller2740 Focus in on the area south of U of C, between 63rd St and about 87th. It's a forgotten area of Chicago with a wealth of unrestored old Chicago charm... And all the advantages I mentioned. Guaranteed to go up in value as more people discover and gentrify the area.
@@suspiciouswatermelon7639 I'm from Chicago, born and raised. Resided and left lol. I haven't resided there fully since 2007, but if I ever had to reconsider moving back there, I would probably stick to the neighborhoods she's suggesting🙂.
@@mimilittle1863 See that's part of the point I'm making here, people should take advantage of the fact that racism has depressed the property market in these areas and there are deals to be had.
My favorite was the 1st one with the step up kitchen. I think I commented on it when you showed it when you went to see it.🥰
*suluxy* isn’t even a superfake. i’ve seen authentic grade that smell the same as the original.
The way they furnished the second to last one is so pretty!
Love love a furnished unit
I love the 1st apartment. And the W&D is modern! Love it. Does the bathroom have a tub or stand up shower?
Ahhh that first place is gorgeous! I’m hoping to move end of next year and I’m looking for a studio or a 1 bedroom!
I loooove apartment 1 omg
I love the 5th apartment maybe it was just the styling of the apartment but its gorgeous.
It doesn't matter where they are made. It depends on artisans and quality inspection. My family and I have bought *suluxy*
Apt 3 is my favorite, it has so much potential

Which address are you looking at? Zillow is unregulated in the Chicago rental market, so many of the listings on Zillow turn out to not be real.
WTF is with these rent prices? This is absolutely stupid! When lil Beijing builds in Chicago 😡
3000 to have your neighbors see directly into your bedroom :p
isnt south loop the ghetto?
