@CK Norris I would recommend that you take 1 Delta First Class flight to experience the seat but, I agree with saving the additional prices for Delta Comfort+ OR 3-4 more trips. Where are you traveling to soon?
I'll be flying delta 1st class this Friday going to cabo, im always on American 1st class but due to hectic flight scheduling they got me on delta, I wanna say thank you for the vid, because I never did sky priority check in an wasn't sure how to go about it, until I seen your vid, im cool now, im flying outta Philly an connect with Atlanta, they DO have hot meals from what I've seen not too mention on my delta app they asked me what did I want to eat an I chose a cheeseburger, we'll see how that goes, thanks again...I've been search the web on how to check in sky priority an no luck
Hillard, First: Enjoy your vacation or business trip to Cabo San Lucas. We've been to Cabo before and had a blast. Check out Mango Deck, if you want entertainment, food, drinking games and a beachside view of the water. Delta Airline First Class is nice depending on the flight due to configurations of the plane, you will definitely enjoy the extra space, food service and unlimited drink menu. I would like to know your opinion on American Airlines and Delta Airlines First Class after you return from Cabo. Hope to hear from you soon

Foxy Boop, thanks for comment and I'm glad the video helped you. You're definitely on the taller size so, the First Class space would come in handy for longer flights(4+ hours) to stay comfortable. I'd like the First Class seats to be cleaner but, they would need to deep clean it to get the dust and crumbs out of years of flights... Where to is your next First Class with Delta Airlines ?
Appreciate the review! I fly U.S. domestic flights for work. I can get them to cover comfort +, but I use my own $$ or miles to upgrade to first if I’m feeling like a splurge. I’ve done Delta most recently and I can say they are back to their regular meal service! Have you flown American Airlines first class? I have not, but they have some very convenient non-stop flights out of a regional airport near me, so I might try it. I’m hoping to find a review online before I do, because I’d hate to waste my resources on the upgrade without knowing in advance. Last point (sorry for rambling) - the most impressive thing I saw on the video is that your bags were already at the carousel when you got off the plane on an international flight?!?! Madness. @xdmc005 Thanks for the comment, man. I should be thankful that we haven't run into any late or missing baggage problems since, we began flying with Delta domestically OR internationally. I have flown American Airlines from LAX to Florida but, didn't have the best of experiences with watching "flight attendants interactions" with passengers before take off. How often are you traveling per year for work domestically on Delta Airlines?

@@RoyalWalker yeah we flew this past Friday from Richmond, VA, connected in JFK (Centurion Lounge review coming) landing in. BOS. On the way home tomorrow connecting in La Guardia (another Centurion Lounge and Sky Club review). So far, experience has exceeded expectations!

Hell ya - bigger seat free alcohol better meals better IFE free baggage priority security priority boarding first off the plane priority baggage… and more… i absolutely hate someone sitting on top if me in coach in this Covid age…it all adds up. @@RoyalWalker i'm in first on mostly domestic...i racked up allot of points travelling for work which is a bonus; for Europe i manage to stay in comfort + due to cost on Delta's A330s to Amsterdam or Paris out of Minneapolis, that way with 2-4-2 seating the only person sitting next to me is my wife, otherwise if its 3 across seating i just buy all 3 seats to avoid having someone else next to us - it's cheaper than First that way but with still plenty of space.

@@RoyalWalker Delta is no different than spirit as far as seating arrangements etc. Spirit doesn't classify their seats as first class just a seat upgrade (usually 10 to 20) dollars and if you're asking opinion is much better. Seats are more comfortable and planes usually cleaner stewards nicer

I believe you get access to the lounge if you are flying Delta first class internationally. Considering Delta first would be the highest premium class aboard that particular aircraft, I do believe those who fly internationally have access (domestic flights do not unless you fly Delta One).
@Andrew Bruskin Thanks for commenting and informing myself about the new updates rules. You are correct with your original statement. If you are flying first or business class internationally with Delta or a Sky Team partner airline like Air France or KLM, you receive complimentary Delta Sky Club access. Certain transcontinental routes within the U.S. in a Delta One business class cabin also get free Delta Sky Club access but, it must be branded as a Delta One flight in order to get free Delta Sky Club entry. Although, most domestic first class fares with Delta will not qualify for free Sky Club access. You need to fly in a Delta One cabin, domestically or internationally - or have a credit card or lounge membership that gets you access. But a regular domestic first class seat won't work.

First class I have never flown a day in my life. In September I fly with delta basic economy the lowest tier. In February we fly First class let's see how they compare.

@@RoyalWalker I am considering it because I have a lot of skymiles through my American Express card so I can get the ticket with no cost, I am just seeing if it worth to spend the extra points or taketh gamble that I might be upgraded with the silver Medallion status.
Nicoletta, Great question! I'm going to recommend you to do this 1-2 ways. It's going to be dependent on where your flying and available seats on this flight. If you're flying to bigger cities, the possibility that you'll be upgraded are lower due to passengers purchasing those first class seats or higher status medallion members being placed in those seats before you(due to priority). The second way to check is to see how many of those First Class seats have already been purchased by going through the process of buying the seats and looking at the seating chart that Delta provides via the Delta App or online. When we flew to El Salvador it was only 2/10 First Class seats taken while only 6 people were flying Delta Comfort+ so, doing the math everyone would be upgraded if they were Medallion holders without any trouble.
LAX to Ft. Lauderdale might be a little tricky due to the Cruise. I highly recommend checking the seating chart- if most of the First Class seats are available(buy Delta Comfort+) and hope you'll get the complimentary upgrade. If most of the FC seats are taken or with limited available(buy the First Class seats outright). You have the choice to purchase Cash + Miles and these tickets work toward MQDs and MQMs. PS. Make sure that all parties flying on the same itinerary are Skymiles Members because, if YOU are a Skymiles member and your plus-one IS NOT, you will not be upgraded to First Class given the availability. Note that being a Skymiles Member is free, only email, name & etc is required and they will receive MQDs, MQMs for this flight as well. Hope this helps :)

Billy, for the comfort along it will be well worth it flying to Cancun or Peru. LAX to Peru would be at least 8 hours to Lima which would be well-worth it for the long flight.

If this is your first time flying first class, YES I purchase the higher ticket to experience the First Class fare and it's offering during the flight + you're going to Vegas. Have fun in VEGAS

First Class, my mum is flying to San Salvador today and her flight from LAX was cancelled so she had to fly via Atlanta. Has first class and only found out she doesn't have club access. Really annoyed. Hope the service is good on both flights.
@DillX360minnerYT cordy Yes, Delta Airlines is undergoing policy changes to their club access due to overcrowding, which I assumed was due to covid- and members being "grandfathered," into status levels to purchase admittance into these lounge clubs. When's the last time you visited El Salvador?
@@RoyalWalker I haven't been since 2019, but husband and son were there during Christmas and flew AA business and had access to club in LAX and MIA and fare was cheaper than my mother's. So I was expecting more due to having paid more money. We live in Australia so having a long flight to get to the states, we like to have that comfort of accessing lounge/club.

Especially, on those longer-haul international flights, I highly recommend comfort+ and higher fair classes to be comfortable for those 7-14+ hour flights. Just a friendly reminder that they dont fuel up the aircraft to 100%.. they would waste a lot of fuel doing that. If it's a 5 hour flight, they probably had about 6.5 hours worth.
Taylor Krohn, thanks for the aviation tip. It would make since, for them to only keep about 1.5 hours of additional flight time for safety measurements while flying.
that is correct; they will only take on the amount of fuel needed for the distance plus extra in case of a go-around or if they have to circle or divert due to weather...otherwise they are carrying unnecessary weight which in turn uses more fuel.
i've never let my baggage go around like that when landing in a foreign country, i guess i'm paranoid. about to take first class on a 5 hour trip also. thanks for the review.

@@RoyalWalker I visited the Museum of the City (5,000 COP) and it offers an amazing 360 view of Medellin and the Monserrate in Bogota gives an amazing view of Bogota. The subway in Medellin was jam packed at 5PM towards El Centro so don’t ride unless you want to be literally packed (I ended up walking). The Transmileno (Bus rapid transit) is great too though I’ve always paid for a cab to/from the airport. I stayed in Laurles in Medellin and it was beautiful and walking around the big trees felt relaxing. For Bogota I was in Chapinero at Carrera 9 and Calle 60 and it was great but when walking in Bogota be cautious about the sidewalks because it’s often uneven or has holes (including Zona T/ the tourist area)
As a solo traveler, I only had one unsafe incident while waiting for the Transmileno and it was at 2PM and a guy almost pick pocketed me but I turned my head to look if the bus arrived and he backed off (didn’t notice he was there. I’ve ridden it at 8/9PM also and was fine. As for Ubers please have patience or order a higher tier Uber ride. If you order the lower tier one expect to get canceled 1-3x and/or wait 5-15mins
First Class... Good video. Well presented. Like the fact you didn't cut the engines sound off -those who do need to get beheaded... Anyway, as someone who has flown in F Domestic and J/F Internationally, around the world multiple times, it's always good watching other experience F for the first time...even if domestic - I know you went to out of the U.S. but the plane had a domestic F setup... All in all, video was fun to watch.

Hi it's been 2 months since I've went to cabo an flew delta business class, well let's just say I'll be sticking with American, at first delta started off good with their delta app, an THEN as time got closer to the date, the app stop working, an then it started again, but now the issue was the pre check when I tried it on the app (because delta says you need to fill that questionnaire part out first before you board) so when I tried to open the delta app an hit the pre check the lil hamster wheel jus kept spinning, couldn't get thru, an that doing the same thing all the way up to departure, I read forums on deltas website an it appears this had been going on all the way back til March, there's no way to speak to a customer service representative, the automated phone service kept directing me all over the world on what to do an then hung up, an then when I got to the airport to check in my luggage was over weight an I had to pay $$$ more which I'm not to fond about that, then the lady at the desk where I checked my bag gave me an my lady our plane ticket, mind you we both have tsa pre check, when we got to the tsa pre line the guy looked at my ticket an I was good but my lady couldn't go thru because she didn't have pre on her ticket (unfortunately I wasn't thinking I should of shown him both on my phone) so we had to get out of line an go back to the same woman who gave us our passes, an told her what happened, I showed her my phone an she looked it up on the computer an still didn't see her pre check so she had to put it in manually an then we went thru, now to their lounge here in Philly, very small not much to eat , I'll give that a 4 star, food was so so, the plane was decent going to atl for thr connect, now getting on the plane in atl wasn't really a problem but again showing the guy at the gate our boarding passes, once again the guy jus stared at my ladys pass but I was cool, so I showed him my phone boarding passes for us an he said oh ok you all are good, on the way back was no problem once we got to atl for the connect they put us on a very old plane wasn't too fond of that but we made it back safe, NOW with American airlines, I did not have to pay for over weight luggage, not one dime, an I've flown to mexico at least 6-7 times with no issue with my luggage being over weight, the centurion lounge in Philly was always awesome, full on breakfast hot meals an drinks an a comfortable lounge to wait before going to the gate , I do have Amex plat but still the centurion lounge was awesome compared to delta sky lounge, im not saying that all delta sky lounge are bad, but the one in Philly was crap, I never had an issue wit American airlines app not one bit, an if I did have to speak to a representative I had no problem getting through. But I can at least say that I had the experience on delta which help me decided that I'm better off sticking with American airlines, oh an we did have business class seats on delta going , connecting an on the return

Latrenie Eades, I need to get back on a Delta Flight to experience the Comfort Plus with Delta and do a comparison video from First Class to Comfort Plus. I do this the flight from LAX to Hawaii would be worth the additional cost due to the 5 hour to 5 hours & 30 minute flight time. Do you receive the same meals & complimentary beverages as First Class?
We flew delta first class in December and the pre-flight drinks and hot meals are back. Now that we’ve flown first class, we are not going back to main cabin 😂

Any flights over 4+ hours, I would considering flying first class due to, the spacious seats, hot food choices & relaxation that you can get from the flight versus being in Main Cabin. @@RoyalWalker Actually, yesterday, I got a email from Delta, asking me what meal I wanted on the flight. There were 3 options for my breakfast. Mushroom and Spinach omelette, some kind of oatmeal and a charcuterie board, with cheeses and meat. I choose the omelette.

@Kevin Perez I'd recommend American Airlines from the US Virgin Islands instead of Spirit because, AA will have a big numbers of flights but, definitely check the prices and amenities given on their First Class flights to compare which, airline give a better First Class experience.
@@RoyalWalker yeah I was thinking about going from Atlanta to Las Vegas In November.I don't fly often but my last couple of flights were in Delta comfort plus. I like comfort plus but I am a little bigger and would like the extra seat space with my wife.
Roosevelt, I haven't flown Comfort Plus+ yet but, the seats in First Class are wider, you're able to recline more and you'll have that additional privacy with your wife in First Class versus having to share the seat with a stranger. I normally always seat in the middle when I fly with my partner for her's comfortability. I'd recommend Delta First Class for ATL to Las Vegas. I think it would be about a 4-hour flight, correct?
@@RoyalWalker Yes that is correct about a 4 hour flight. The comfort plus is ok If the plane is not full and that extra person is not in the seat beside you. There is little recline . I could tell a difference in the seats in the larger planes compared to the smaller planes
Roosevelt, I would agree. If your row isn't full it's great to have that extra middle seat space for you and your wife. I think that Delta provides complimentary beers, spirits and etc with your Comfort Plus+ seat purchase. Weigh your options with comfort plus+ or first class depending on the price. Upgrading at the ticket window is probably your best bet since, it's last minute (if your comfort plus+ seat row is full). PS. Some Delta travel credit cards come with unlimited complimentary upgrades, if seats are available.

I'll be flying delta 1st class this Friday going to cabo, im always on American 1st class but due to hectic flight scheduling they got me on delta, I wanna say thank you for the vid, because I never did sky priority check in an wasn't sure how to go about it, until I seen your vid, im cool now, im flying outta Philly an connect with Atlanta, they DO have hot meals from what I've seen not too mention on my delta app they asked me what did I want to eat an I chose a cheeseburger, we'll see how that goes, thanks again...I've been search the web on how to check in sky priority an no luck

Check out Mango Deck, if you want entertainment, food, drinking games and a beachside view of the water. Delta Airline First Class is nice depending on the flight due to configurations of the plane, you will definitely enjoy the extra space, food service and unlimited drink menu.

Appreciate the review! I fly U.S. domestic flights for work. I can get them to cover comfort +, but I use my own $$ or miles to upgrade to first if I’m feeling like a splurge. I’ve done Delta most recently and I can say they are back to their regular meal service! Have you flown American Airlines first class? I have not, but they have some very convenient non-stop flights out of a regional airport near me, so I might try it. I’m hoping to find a review online before I do, because I’d hate to waste my resources on the upgrade without knowing in advance. Last point (sorry for rambling) - the most impressive thing I saw on the video is that your bags were already at the carousel when you got off the plane on an international flight?!?! Madness. @xdmc005 Thanks for the comment, man. I should be thankful that we haven't run into any late or missing baggage problems since, we began flying with Delta domestically OR internationally. I have flown American Airlines from LAX to Florida but, didn't have the best of experiences with watching "flight attendants interactions" with passengers before take off. @@RoyalWalker i'm in first on mostly domestic...i racked up allot of points travelling for work which is a bonus; for Europe i manage to stay in comfort + due to cost on Delta's A330s to Amsterdam or Paris out of Minneapolis, that way with 2-4-2 seating the only person sitting next to me is my wife, otherwise if its 3 across seating i just buy all 3 seats to avoid having someone else next to us - it's cheaper than First that way but with still plenty of space.
Better meals only applies to long domestic and international flights, otherwise you're better off going main cabin or comfort+/ extra legroom seats.

Yep, the seat alone makes it worth it. Many cases it's about the same once you figure the bags.
First class all the way. Its always painful when you upgrade that ticket, then the day you board that plane the extra $$$ was worth it.

@@RoyalWalker Delta is no different than spirit as far as seating arrangements etc. Spirit doesn't classify their seats as first class just a seat upgrade (usually 10 to 20) dollars and if you're asking opinion is much better. Seats are more comfortable and planes usually cleaner stewards nicer

I believe you get access to the lounge if you are flying Delta first class internationally. Considering Delta first would be the highest premium class aboard that particular aircraft, I do believe those who fly internationally have access (domestic flights do not unless you fly Delta One).
@Andrew Bruskin Thanks for commenting and informing myself about the new updates rules. You are correct with your original statement. If you are flying first or business class internationally with Delta or a Sky Team partner airline like Air France or KLM, you receive complimentary Delta Sky Club access. Certain transcontinental routes within the U.S. in a Delta One business class cabin also get free Delta Sky Club access but, it must be branded as a Delta One flight in order to get free Delta Sky Club entry.
Although, most domestic first class fares with Delta will not qualify for free Sky Club access. You need to fly in a Delta One cabin, domestically or internationally - or have a credit card or lounge membership that gets you access. But a regular domestic first class seat won't work.

I have never flown a day in my life. In September I fly with delta basic economy the lowest tier. In February we fly First class let's see how they compare.

Nicoletta, Great question! I'm going to recommend you to do this 1-2 ways. It's going to be dependent on where your flying and available seats on this flight. If you're flying to bigger cities, the possibility that you'll be upgraded are lower due to passengers purchasing those first class seats or higher status medallion members being placed in those seats before you(due to priority).
The second way to check is to see how many of those First Class seats have already been purchased by going through the process of buying the seats and looking at the seating chart that Delta provides via the Delta App or online. When we flew to El Salvador it was only 2/10 First Class seats taken while only 6 people were flying Delta Comfort+ so, doing the math everyone would be upgraded if they were Medallion holders without any trouble.
LAX to Ft. Lauderdale might be a little tricky due to the Cruise. I highly recommend checking the seating chart- if most of the First Class seats are available(buy Delta Comfort+) and hope you'll get the complimentary upgrade. If most of the FC seats are taken or with limited available(buy the First Class seats outright). You have the choice to purchase Cash + Miles and these tickets work toward MQDs and MQMs.
PS. Make sure that all parties flying on the same itinerary are Skymiles Members because, if YOU are a Skymiles member and your plus-one IS NOT, you will not be upgraded to First Class given the availability.
Note that being a Skymiles Member is free, only email, name & etc is required and they will receive MQDs, MQMs for this flight as well.

If this is your first time flying first class, YES I purchase the higher ticket to experience the First Class fare and it's offering during the flight + you're going to Vegas.

@RobKPyrotechnics Yes, You should have the full-meal service back and no mask requires from Detroit to Mexico City. That will be at least a 5-hour flight so, you should expect food and beverages unless turbulence reduces the airlines food offerings for safety.

First Class, my mum is flying to San Salvador today and her flight from LAX was cancelled so she had to fly via Atlanta. Has first class and only found out she doesn't have club access. Really annoyed. Hope the service is good on both flights.
@DillX360minnerYT cordy Yes, Delta Airlines is undergoing policy changes to their club access due to overcrowding, which I assumed was due to covid- and members being "grandfathered," into status levels to purchase admittance into these lounge clubs. When's the last time you visited El Salvador?
@@RoyalWalker I haven't been since 2019, but husband and son were there during Christmas and flew AA business and had access to club in LAX and MIA and fare was cheaper than my mother's. So I was expecting more due to having paid more money. We live in Australia so having a long flight to get to the states, we like to have that comfort of accessing lounge/club.

Especially, on those longer-haul international flights, I highly recommend comfort+ and higher fair classes to be comfortable for those 7-14+ hour flights.

Just a friendly reminder that they dont fuel up the aircraft to 100%.. they would waste a lot of fuel doing that. If it's a 5 hour flight, they probably had about 6.5 hours worth.

that is correct; they will only take on the amount of fuel needed for the distance plus extra in case of a go-around or if they have to circle or divert due to weather...otherwise they are carrying unnecessary weight which in turn uses more fuel.
Agreed… Enough for diverting the aircraft for emergency purses and/or etc.

@@RoyalWalker I visited the Museum of the City (5,000 COP) and it offers an amazing 360 view of Medellin and the Monserrate in Bogota gives an amazing view of Bogota.
The subway in Medellin was jam packed at 5PM towards El Centro so don’t ride unless you want to be literally packed (I ended up walking). The Transmileno (Bus rapid transit) is great too though I’ve always paid for a cab to/from the airport.
I stayed in Laurles in Medellin and it was beautiful and walking around the big trees felt relaxing. For Bogota I was in Chapinero at Carrera 9 and Calle 60 and it was great but when walking in Bogota be cautious about the sidewalks because it’s often uneven or has holes (including Zona T/ the tourist area)
As a solo traveler, I only had one unsafe incident while waiting for the Transmileno and it was at 2PM and a guy almost pick pocketed me but I turned my head to look if the bus arrived and he backed off (didn’t notice he was there. I’ve ridden it at 8/9PM also and was fine.
As for Ubers please have patience or order a higher tier Uber ride. If you order the lower tier one expect to get canceled 1-3x and/or wait 5-15mins

I need to checkout the Airbus fleet that Delta Airlines is running on their long-haul international flights but, those 330s are only flying to a select destinations like South Korea, Japan, Paris & South Africa.

Hi it's been 2 months since I've went to cabo an flew delta business class, well let's just say I'll be sticking with American, at first delta started off good with their delta app, an THEN as time got closer to the date, the app stop working, an then it started again, but now the issue was the pre check when I tried it on the app (because delta says you need to fill that questionnaire part out first before you board) so when I tried to open the delta app an hit the pre check the lil hamster wheel jus kept spinning, couldn't get thru, an that doing the same thing all the way up to departure, I read forums on deltas website an it appears this had been going on all the way back til March, there's no way to speak to a customer service representative, the automated phone service kept directing me all over the world on what to do an then hung up, an then when I got to the airport to check in my luggage was over weight an I had to pay $$$ more which I'm not to fond about that, then the lady at the desk where I checked my bag gave me an my lady our plane ticket, mind you we both have tsa pre check, when we got to the tsa pre line the guy looked at my ticket an I was good but my lady couldn't go thru because she didn't have pre on her ticket (unfortunately I wasn't thinking I should of shown him both on my phone) so we had to get out of line an go back to the same woman who gave us our passes, an told her what happened, I showed her my phone an she looked it up on the computer an still didn't see her pre check so she had to put it in manually an then we went thru, now to their lounge here in Philly, very small not much to eat , I'll give that a 4 star, food was so so, the plane was decent going to atl for thr connect, now getting on the plane in atl wasn't really a problem but again showing the guy at the gate our boarding passes, once again the guy jus stared at my ladys pass but I was cool, so I showed him my phone boarding passes for us an he said oh ok you all are good, on the way back was no problem once we got to atl for the connect they put us on a very old plane wasn't too fond of that but we made it back safe, NOW with American airlines, I did not have to pay for over weight luggage, not one dime, an I've flown to mexico at least 6-7 times with no issue with my luggage being over weight, the centurion lounge in Philly was always awesome, full on breakfast hot meals an drinks an a comfortable lounge to wait before going to the gate , I do have Amex plat but still the centurion lounge was awesome compared to delta sky lounge, im not saying that all delta sky lounge are bad, but the one in Philly was crap, I never had an issue wit American airlines app not one bit, an if I did have to speak to a representative I had no problem getting through. But I can at least say that I had the experience on delta which help me decided that I'm better off sticking with American airlines, oh an we did have business class seats on delta going , connecting an on the return

I don’t really like domestic First Class flights as it pales in comparison to international flight’s a first Class.

Latrenie Eades, I need to get back on a Delta Flight to experience the Comfort Plus with Delta and do a comparison video from First Class to Comfort Plus. I do this the flight from LAX to Hawaii would be worth the additional cost due to the 5 hour to 5 hours & 30 minute flight time.

We flew delta first class in December and the pre-flight drinks and hot meals are back. Now that we’ve flown first class, we are not going back to main cabin 😂

@@RoyalWalker Actually, yesterday, I got a email from Delta, asking me what meal I wanted on the flight. There were 3 options for my breakfast. Mushroom and Spinach omelette, some kind of oatmeal and a charcuterie board, with cheeses and meat. I choose the omelette.

@Kevin Perez I'd recommend American Airlines from the US Virgin Islands instead of Spirit because, AA will have a big numbers of flights but, definitely check the prices and amenities given on their First Class flights to compare which, airline give a better First Class experience.

@@RoyalWalker yeah I was thinking about going from Atlanta to Las Vegas In November.I don't fly often but my last couple of flights were in Delta comfort plus. I like comfort plus but I am a little bigger and would like the extra seat space with my wife.
Roosevelt, I haven't flown Comfort Plus+ yet but, the seats in First Class are wider, you're able to recline more and you'll have that additional privacy with your wife in First Class versus having to share the seat with a stranger. I normally always seat in the middle when I fly with my partner for her's comfortability. I'd recommend Delta First Class for ATL to Las Vegas. I think it would be about a 4-hour flight, correct?
@@RoyalWalker Yes that is correct about a 4 hour flight. The comfort plus is ok If the plane is not full and that extra person is not in the seat beside you. There is little recline . I could tell a difference in the seats in the larger planes compared to the smaller planes
Roosevelt, I would agree. If your row isn't full it's great to have that extra middle seat space for you and your wife. I think that Delta provides complimentary beers, spirits and etc with your Comfort Plus+ seat purchase. Weigh your options with comfort plus+ or first class depending on the price. Upgrading at the ticket window is probably your best bet since, it's last minute (if your comfort plus+ seat row is full).
PS. Some Delta travel credit cards come with unlimited complimentary upgrades, if seats are available.
