I always thoroughly enjoy your reactions on Voctave. Your enjoyment is great to watch, but coupled with your musical knowledge and sheer appreciation of their 'GOAT' talent. Keep doing more Voctave.
Great reaction to this amazing group. I like that you let yourself be wowed and then express your emotions about the performance. Not overly analytical just expressing your wonder at their sound. That is the way most of us fans are. I would love to see you react to their song Somewhere. Each of the 11 members has a solo so you can experience all their talents. Keep up the good work.
I think it’s great that you were interested in sweet Adeline’s. I grew up with barbershop in my life. From my dad being a member as I was a child, all the way up to when I joined and got to sing side by side with him. At his wake, the funeral home was simply awestruck as an 80 member barbershop chorus, comprised of people my father sang with in the many years. As far as the long note? Johnny Nash’s “I can see clearly now” has a long note that I conquered while doing karaoke.
Hello there commenters. Just a note to you. The arrangement of this song was in most part, and especially from the key change to the end, literally adapted from the Nelson-Riddle orchestration from the movie version of Streisand singing on a clear day you can see forever at the end of that film. First, there will never be a greater singing performance in this world than Streisand's performance of on a clear day sung at the end of the film. Second, From the key change to the end, Titus Burgess is literally recreating the Streisand vocals from the film version. So, this version is literally a homage to Streisand. Listen to The Streisand version from the movie, With that brilliant Nelson riddle orchestration and you will hear what I mean. Nothing is more glorious. But, Titus Burgess and Voctave do an absolutely amazing job with this recreation and homage. Gorgeous!!!
@@TouchyReactions you are most welcome. As a pianist and musical director, I recreated the Nelson-Riddle orchestration of On A Clear Day from the movie for a singer who recently sang it at a concert honoring Barbra Streisand. She did an amazing job. For the musical director of Voctave to recreate the Nelson Riddle orchestration/arrangement from the movie is truly astounding. My hat's off to him.
Loved the reaction and the info how they got their name. Hope you had a great time at the concert. Can't wait to hear you react to Mary Did You Know and see Cindy's reaction. Voctave just doesn't get enough exposure. Have an awesome night
It surprised me to hear your surprise at Mark Lowry (songwriter and comedian) singing “Mary Did You Know” with Voctave. I thought that you two had already done a reaction for this but perhaps I’m thinking of another reaction channel. You two are in for a real treat! Mark had this idea: what if he was sitting across the table from Mary the mother of Jesus, having a conversation…what would he say, what questions would he ask…I love the fact that the questions asked are left open, never answered in the song. When you watch him sing, you’re going to see that this is a man who deeply believes every single word he wrote. It’s genuine, authentic, and you don’t have to be a person of faith to appreciate that. I’m excited for when you react to Voctave’s Mary Did You Know feat. Mark Lowry.😊🎶
Mary Did You Know is my absolute favorite cover of theirs, especially since the writer Mark Lowry is singing with them. It’s breathtaking. I can’t wait to see you react to that one! ❤
#Voctave are fantastic, please keep reacting to more of their music; they have so much more you've yet to see!! Vocal perfection every time.
Have heard Voctave live twice. Otherworldly!

Titus is a Broadway star and can sing in any style and almost any register with emotional power.

You must listen and see Voctave doing somewhere from West Side Story where each member of Voctave has a solo.
Somewhere. I'm with ya Hattie.
