    Hi I think I commented to you saying that you guys should review the flir siras but maybe if your done with reviewing the mavic 3e enterprise can you maybe review the autel evo 2 enterprise.

    Is it worth it to purchase the RTK base station along with the module when going for accuracy?

    • @SteelCityDrones
      @SteelCityDrones  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      As I mentioned in the video you can't get survey grade accuracy with this aircraft. If you want survey grade accuracy you need to use the P4RTK or the Matrice 300 with the P1 camera sensor. The RTK for the Mavic 3 enterprise will only help with keeping the aircraft tighter in space.

    • @nikolaibardin-siekawitch1802
      @nikolaibardin-siekawitch1802 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SteelCityDrones Alright, that makes sense. It just baffles me that the phantom 4 RTK is still better than this drone.

      @@nikolaibardin-siekawitch1802 I agree, It definitely is very confusing. Think its basically telling us that it ,takes more than one type of drone for different jobs, unfortunately.

    • @SteelCityDrones
      @SteelCityDrones  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Phantom 4 RTK has been discontinued and end of life. It's replacement is the Mavic 3 Enterprise E version.

      @isg_jsy ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SteelCityDrones thanks for the reply, understood but if you had the choice of both for surveying purposes which would you go for? I saw below you said the Mavic 3 E With RTK isn't suitable for surveying is that correct?

      Just trying to learn as much as possible so appreciate your insight :)

    • @SteelCityDrones
      @SteelCityDrones  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@isg_jsy The Matrice 300 with the P1 camera sensor is the ultimate mapping drone. It gets 4 to 5 minutes more flight time, the P1 has a 48 megapixel camera sensor, full frame, mechanical shutter that can get remarkable clarity and resolution above 200 feet. You can get really any GSD you need at any flight altitude.

    How is the Mapping Quality for the E?

    • @SteelCityDrones
      @SteelCityDrones  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Please define Mapping quality? With either model you can get good 2D/3D images but you are not going to get survey grade accuracy out of any multicamera package.

      There's nothing groundbreaking about the new M3E truth be told. There are noticeable improvements over the M2EA with a better price point but it can't compete with the features and functionality of the Matrice line.

    I was told the 3T could also do some 2 and 3D modeling but it was less than ideal compared to the 3E because of the absence of a mechanical shutter, ie, would have to fly slower and the camera sensor was smaller than the 4/3rds unit so it’s low light capture ability was also less than the 3E? Does that souls correct, eg, it seems to have the waypoints and DJI Pro 2 app
