It would be really helpful if you could go through all of the settings with recommendations for the M3E. The videos I have seen go through the attributes but not the details of the setup and settings. I think many of your subscribers would find this interesting and useful.
I’m very interested to see which drone zooms better. The enterprise T has a further digital zoom but the normal mavic 3 has the 7 times optical zoom. How do they compare to eachother in clarity?
I don’t agreed about the cameras features, I think they still could add on the good specifications on this cameras specially if you need to take very detailed raw photos from a specific job site, constructions in progress and on!
You didn't mention 1. Microphone in RC Pro ENTERPRISE. 2. Structurally enhanced frame in the aircraft. 3. Gimbal guard is almost a direct rip of the Sunnylife one I use, lol.
Great drone Billy! I think the zoom still doesnt provide enough detail for high end inspections. Looking forward to you covering all the other options like mapping.
Awesome....I've done some Ortho Maps and 1 3d model with my M3....and even though it doesn't have a Mechanical Shutter, still took high quality photos that when stitched together blew me away.
If you’re a hobbyist the enterprise model isn’t really necessary. However, when you’re talking about precision level photogrammetry for planning, documentation, etc … that’s a different story.
I was excited when I first started reading about this drone today and watching some DJI videos about it. Plus your video and few others from non DJI presenters. The issue that stopped me from considering this purchase today was... the fact that they took away all the cinematic features of this drone. No D-Log color profile, No h.265 codec, nothing over 30fps, no 5.1k video. Makes me wonder what other features from the normal M3 is going to be missing from the M3E version. So, this means I still have to carry around 2 drones for work and maintain them both. I have a P4 RTK and mobile station as well as a Mavic 2 pro. If the Mavic 3E kept all those cinematic features I could sell both the P4 RTK and the M2P. The M3E does work with the D-RTK 2 in mode 5 so I would hang on that. I do like the battery discharge feature and would hope they will add that to the fly more app. Having the ability to switch to Atti mode for videography is awesome I really wish they had that feature on the M3 and M2P.
Right on that’s what I’m saying one drone- I don’t want to carry or own numerous drones since the equipment is devalue so quickly- been there done that
Mechanical Shutter is Great for mapping and the Pilot 2 App's waypoints. Any indication if waypoint missions are off-processing "virtual sticks" like the Mavic3 will be with SDK or did the Enterprise gain On-Board Processing to handle loss of signal continue processing mission? Did they mention Heated Batteries like other Enterprise crafts? On setup in field, is GPS lock still the same as Mavic3... it still can take a bit to lock?
I'm assuming that if you want to use DD for mapping, including the capture, you will need to use a phone or tablet for the app. Does the M3E support the standard non smart controller for phone or tablet use to run the apps?
Just wondering if you think this could also be used for content creation/cinematography? I love the mapping functions but i would like to also use it for creativity most of the time.
..heck yeah. It’s a quality, high-end piece of tech that is at the apex of the drone market both in the digital area as well as flying capability. Efficient in its battery usage, telephoto/video-capable with crisp images, etc. And the add-ons that increase its value. IF I had < $5K..and wanted an ALL-purpose drone (AND didn’t ALREADY have a drone that is),..I’d be in. As for me, I’m still enjoying the heck outta my A2S!
This wouldn’t be the best choice for that. Although it sports the same camera (+mechanical shutter) as the Mavic 3, Classic and Cine, it’s does not support the Flight Modes that the Mavic 3 line does like Mastershots, quickshots etc. However if you don’t plan on using those automatic flight modes then this will work out great. But overall you could save the $2,500 and buy the Mavic 3 Classic If cinematography is the goal. I do both cinema and photogrammetry, so I purchased both 🤷🏻♂️.
I apologize, I must have missed the links to the videos you mentioned that were recorded by your friend(s) regarding the thermal version of this drone. Could you please provide a link to it? Thank you so very much. Also, thank you for a nice, but rather quick, run down of the features of the Mavic 3 Enterprise. I recently purchased the thermal version in your video is quite helpful. I would much like to follow up with the video from your friend regarding the thermal options and usage of the drone. Again, thank you for making this info available!😊
You should look at the new Autel Max 4T, it has better spec's and an SDK that programmers can work with. It seems to have all of the programming features that DJI has limited in the Enterprise series. Just have to wait for a price and release date. I don't think I can rely on DJI anymore because of all of the limitations.....
The only problem I see is the small remote screen , no options to put a Crystal Sky. S&R and beach reconnaissance NEED a larger screen size for operations
Would have liked to seen M3 camera features added to the M3E- 1 drone that would be capable of capturing several platforms creativity/mapping/S&R etc. would like to carry/own one drone with multi batteries
What you're describing is a phantom 4 Pro LOL If the M3E had full photo and video options such as raw, 5k, etc with its larger sensor and optional rtk that would have been a good deal. However, stripping out those video and photo settings kills it's potential :-(
Is there a way I can change the units for the altitude from feet to metres? It doesn't appear in the Units section of the settings, this only allows the change for speed measurement, not altitude?
Hey Billy, thank you for for excellent review, testing and first flight of the new M3 Enterprise. DJI has sure raised the bar with these new versions of the M3. What I see as the most important on the version you tested is the mechanical shutter! This is a huge improvement for people that are mapping and they can add the RTK module if needed. I’m looking forward to your future reviews and testing of the additional mods for the drone. A foldable version of the Phantom 4 V2.0👍👍
Hey I work for PPD and they are attempting to start a drone program and in true Philly fashion they are going about it completely wrong using some kind of tethered drone system. If I’m ever able to get my foot in the door with that unit which is very unlikely because I’m over qualified and have good knowledge of flying drones… would you be interested in doing a presentation with one of these enterprise drones. I believe the Matrice is the right choice with the thermal camera and zoom capabilities. But like I said it’s a long shot that I will be in that situation.
How did you download your video data from the drone videos to your computer or IPhone? Ive tried to download using the controler to my iphone but it just wont tranfer!!! Working with files in the DJI RC PRO wasn't easy!! But after I successfully created download files, It consistenly failed to send them to my IPhone! Such has never been the case with my Air 2 S. Are the videos created in the Mavic 3 Enterprise in a different format than that of the Air 2 S?? Getting desperate here.
I would be great if they could add that new radar display as much better than fly app and the ar home point and wind speed . Wind speed is available after in Airdata so it should be possible as all drones must know wind speed
Super Video Billy, always enjoy! Nice to see the extras are useable on both 3E & 3T. Question, since the RC Pro Ent radio can be used on both 3E & 3T, any idea what just the Drone costs? Say purchased the M3T kit, then wanted to purchase just the M3E craft to use with the components from the M3T kit.
The ‘T’ model would be the apex of drone ownership for me. To have thermal would open up SO much opportunity BOTH IN FUN.. AND commercial work The height of “giving back” in a sense would be working SAR. Oh well, right now..even though it ‘could’ be a goal, it’s not as practical for me. SLOW-rolling the 107 as I’m rural, not quite the opportunities for work, etc..which it’s cool. STILL digging my A2S..
Great video Billy, that answers the question as to whether or not the Mavic three would get a firmware update to allow it to work with third-party apps as was the case with the Mavic two pro. In short, it was never going to happen. I am excited about this drone just as I am excited about the M 30 T but it is disappointing that my Mavic three will be good only for photography and video I have to get three separate drones in order to do it all as even the M 30 T and the M 30 do not have an RTK attachment that I’m aware of.
so... would you actually say the m3e is a capable cinematic drone and then just grab the ND's and more batteries? because for the RC Pro controller and the bird with the option to get into some heavier duty commercial application which comes along from time to time, this looks like a better option than the fly more combo and a standard M3
Thank you for the insight into the Mavic 3 Enterprise. I believe you mention that the Mavic 3 Enterprise does not shoot RAW still images, but in the specification it does say JPG+RAW. On the Mavic 3 it says JPG/DNG (RAW). It would be good if you could clarify as to what the options are with the Mavic 3 Enterprise. Totally agree with you!
Awesome video Billy! Appreciate all your time and effort getting this info out there 🚀
Thanks for the video. How did you take off? I didn't see where you pushed.
Thanks for sharing! There’s a lot of value in you compressing and sharing this knowledge! 🔥
I’m very interested to see which drone zooms better. The enterprise T has a further digital zoom but the normal mavic 3 has the 7 times optical zoom. How do they compare to eachother in clarity?
Just purchased the Mavic 3 Enterprise and am amazed at what it can do. I also very much appreciate your videos!!
I don’t agreed about the cameras features, I think they still could add on the good specifications on this cameras specially if you need to take very detailed raw photos from a specific job site, constructions in progress and on!
If they wanted they could mix the mavic 3 with mavic 3E and mavic3T in the same drone but they became gold diggers
28X optical and 56X digital is not enough for raw construction photos?
You didn't mention
Looking forward to you covering all the other options like mapping.
..I thought the ‘zoom’ kicked butt FOR (drone) FLYING camera myself.
Thanx for sharing, loves from Sweden 🇸🇪
The great Manayunk area. My great grand-mom lived across from that church steeple you zoomed in at the end
This will be a great tool in telecommunication industry. I like the radar/compass. With the 56x zoom, uh...ma ma mia!
Awesome....I've done some Ortho Maps and 1 3d model with my M3....and even though it doesn't have a Mechanical Shutter, still took high quality photos that when stitched together blew me away.

Incredible as always! You always put out high quality work and it is greatly appreciated
Great video, thank you Billy! I reserved my 3E with DJI, hope it doesn't take long. So glad they created a real mapping machine out of this!
Great video as always. Quick question - how is this drone with weather compared to M3T esp rain ? Thanks.
Good point, what's its IP rating
@@Mike-yq6jg The M3E and M3T does not have an IP rating meaning not suitable to operate in rain and snow.
I'm assuming that if you want to use DD for mapping, including the capture, you will need to use a phone or tablet for the app. Does the M3E support the standard non smart controller for phone or tablet use to run the apps?
At drone deploy youtube channel they use this controller. I don't think there is a need for a phone or tablet in order to use it.
Good stuff. I will be piloting this bird soon on a security detail I signed up for and will train soon on it. It's an impressive machine.
Knew you had it. Great job, Billy!
ha. he has them all
😂
Just wondering if you think this could also be used for content creation/cinematography? I love the mapping functions but i would like to also use it for creativity most of the time.

I just got mine and I am excited to use it!
Great drone, great video! Did you say that you've used the Mavic 3 "consumer" drone for inspection work? If so, what type of inspections? Thanks!
How quickly after release is it usual for DJI to start shipping/selling?
It depends, especially with their commercial line of drones
All right Billy let’s see what you got today. Great video is always.
Wow same spec and power but more feature than standard m3 and cine?
How to you start it? Is there an app I need to download? I don't see the take off button.
Thanks!
When are u going to make a video on speaker and rtk attachment? please do it soon 🙏
Does this enterprise drone have the same features as the recreational drones regarding plain video shooting or is it exclusively for commercial use?
Much of the Zoom options can be incorporated into the regular Mavic 3...
Excellent Review and Excellent Information. Thank You Billy.
I apologize, I must have missed the links to the videos you mentioned that were recorded by your friend(s) regarding the thermal version of this drone.

As a p1 user - please compare maps … compare p4p vs p1 vs m3 e
Does it have more zoom than Hasselblad sensor?
Can you stream from the drone?
I was looking for this drone to come out. Great one Billy. I really like this drone. Thanks for clearing up something about the camera for me.
Picked mine up for exact 3k in Euro. Love the drone.
Excellent video, thank you. There is no cruise control on this drone ...am i right ?
I feel like they should add the beacons, add on port, etc to the mavic pro. It would be super helpful
My man Billy 😊 as always OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!
Great help setting the Pitch, Yaw, and Roll…again, Thank you Billy 😊
Isn’t that bad for the battery to store it in the drone?
How do you take off when there’s no take off button on the screen? Thanks!
What is the size of the case ?
Great video. We got a Mavic 3 E for work - does the Mavic 3 E not have active mode for following people or vehicles?
The controller isn't actually the RC Pro but the RC Pro Enterprise which has a microphone, rc pro not compatible apparently...
What software are you using?
The only problem I see is the small remote screen , no options to put a Crystal Sky. S&R and beach reconnaissance NEED a larger screen size for operations
Does not the Drone need to be Calibrated as the very first procedure BEFORE flying?
Why you not buy the second one?
This a very impressive new enterprise drone from DJI, especially when you considering the pricing. Great video Billy, and thanks for sharing.
Humm Drone Deploy and DJI Terra get a mention, why did you not mention the players most people use?
How easy it it to swap camera packages..?
هل الطائرة تصور ليلي
Hope they have update the obstacle avoidance while tracking because it was terrible …
which town is this? this is a pretty town
Is it CE marked?
Thought this RC Pro has a microphone to record and live broadcast to the speaker module. At least according to DJI it does.
Wish there was a way to set the charger to charge batteries to proper storage level
So this thing is basically a phantom 4P with fewer photo and video options and a slightly larger sensor. Tell me again how this price is a good deal?
Would have liked to seen M3 camera features added to the M3E- 1 drone that would be capable of capturing several platforms creativity/mapping/S&R etc. would like to carry/own one drone with multi batteries

re there any differences in the image and video quality between the Mavic 3E and the regular Mavic 3?
Great video Billy!!

I keep seeing people referencing the 3k to 3200 dollar price. Closest I have seen is 3628. Is there any place else I need to look?
How do you change storage location to the rc sd card. On the mavic 3 t

Does the RC Pro that comes with the M3E work on the M3 drone? DJI website says it does not. Have you been able to test that?
one of the best reviews out there on youtube, thanks for your effort. if you just talk a little slower lol
This may replace my phantom once it dies. I do like the RTK module for mapping...but I'm not sure I'm buying that you don't need GCPs.
Should we use it together with d-rtk-2? Or can we use it with emlid's solution for ppk?
Do you know if the Mavic 3 batteries are compatible with the Mavic 3 Enterprise?
Can you use the same battery of the mavi3 or the cine
Great job Billy. Awesome job as always
Please make Mavic 3 SDK available soon because i buy it for SDK as usually with my other dji drones / Thanks

Another great video. I have reserved an Enterprise, looking forward to my new toy.

Yes it does

Not at all. This is not good for cinematic video.

It can zoom for photos too.
