Awsome content as always. Half the battle is keeping your head up. Writing content, making multiple websites, social media, not just ads but making content about clutter, junk, hoarding, estates, foreclosures, evictions. There so much to write, do videos about. Just never give up and always keep moving forward. Doors close for the right ones to open. Best wishes.
Had the same thing happen to me twice last week. 6k house cleanout and 5k interior demo and haul off. Both canceled the morning of. Basically paid guys to drive around and put out signs all day. Hate when customers flake after getting on the schedule like that
Hi Steve . Just to let you know. You inspired me a lot for this business . I started a year ago doing this as a part time with a small utility trailer. Now I’m doing this full time and have a decent size dump trailer
Love the videos! I’ll be getting my Dump truck from JRA in May/June timeframe, when does it look like you’ll be getting yours? Would love to see a walk through video of it!
Love it Steve - Started 2 weeks ago with a friends help and a rented trailer - $3k in sales so far - stoked to get after it and make our weekly numbers our daily numbers

Hey bro 👋🏼. Been researching Junk Removal for a couple straight weeks. Plan on getting Started in Baltimore MD area this year. Really like your Channel specifically out of all the other ones on TH-cam. My question is about Junk Hauling on my own…who did you use/hire for Labor in the beginning and how much you Pay them per Day or Per Job I’m guessing. ? Obviously Certain stuff is a 2 man job especially with steps and different obstacles. Also you Remind me of Bill Burr soooo much dude 😄. He’s from Boston or Massachusetts anyway. 👌. I’m not trying to be a Dikk man. Like your Channel and like your Drive and Hustle Sir. Keep Doing Awesome
I’m new to junk removal like 2 months in business I have gotten a call in like 2 weeks any advice on how to get more jobs or get my phone to ring I’ve been going around handing out cards in Home Depot lowes and such
@@SteveConroy1 Coming up on our first year and got our first bad customer. Wrote a hot check for $2,400. Gave them 30days to make it right. Never came through, so I filed lien against their property. Don't know if I will ever see my money, but fortunately business is steady down here in the South. I don't know how you guys do it up North with the cold and snow.
I believe that it all depends on the area you're in. I know people that get all of their workers from Facebook or instagram. I also know people that use Indeed and those sites. I have tried them all and none of them work well.

Getting a truck and dump trailer soon!! Started in a van - you're an inspiration brother. Thank you so much for what you do.

Yup. Pain in the ass. Gotta roll with the punches though
@@SteveConroy1 hey steve does asking for a deposit help having less cancellations?
@@johngarcia-qi9yb I had to start doing this due to cancellations and it does help from MY experience.
@@danielhorsman3866 so I did it this month on jobs over $600
so it worked out and I'll continue to do it.
@@johngarcia-qi9yb yeah I usually do it for jobs over 500 and I haven’t had any cancellations yet.

Good shit!!! How are you getting leads? I get all of mine from Google but am looking for other avenues

@Dondada Ace paid ad or a listing?
Great video. 'Motion creates emotion.'
Question. Do you carge any money upfront on this line or work or provide an invoice or payment agreement to make sure u get paid after u do the work
We collect payment once the job is complete. Too much paperwork before a job will steer folks away

Hey Steve what are some of the ways you market?
There is a video on that if you look a little further down in the videos section of the channel!
Do you have to charge a sales tax or other taxes? If so how much where you live?
How much you charge and how do you charge?
I had a 2k job and a 1k job the same day and both fucking cancelled. Really poor a damper on this whole thing for me.
Part of the gig!

What area are you. In
Steve, your truck is gas or diesel?
350 pick up is diesel, the other 2 are gas
