    I just watched a few professional videos about food processors and learned nothing. I watched yours and learned everything I needed to know. Thank you so much!

    Thanks for making this video, and for showing the limitations of it with real use rather than just the things that work like other "reviews" do

    Thank you for this great Video. I was a little disappointed from the feeding tube. On the 9 Cup model, the tube is so small, it doesn't feed a whole tomato (well or only very small sizes but you don't always want to slize cherry tomatoes) . The tube on the 13 Cup looks bigger, but it can't feed a normal tomato either. Also normal size Zucchini or Cucumber need to be cut in half...
    Also, I have the black lid. It irritates me that it gives a loud cracking sound when I close the lid, I always think it breaks up the closing mechanism 😂

    I've got an older Kitchenaid 13 cup and I watched this to relearn how to use it to make quince honey. You inspire confidence.

    I hate using a box grater or a mandolin for shredding or slicing. My25 yo culinart had a broken bowl that replacements are no longer available for. I bought this. I am going to make Kraut today. I wanted to see how all of it worked. Thanks for the video.

    Thanks. Was hoping to see how well it diced raw carrots before buying one.

    I've learned from before. Never buy cheap Ninja products haha... Ended up with a Vitamix blender and now this kitchenaid food processor with the dicing kit haha

      same. cuisinart with their dicer mushes everything because it puts the blade first then the dicer.

    wie kann ich in Germany zusätze Scheiben kaufen ?
    1. eine Pommes Scheibe : KFP13FF
    FF = French Fry Disc
    2. Julienne Scheibe :
    5KFP13JD
    JD = Julienne Disc
    das würde die Einsatzmöglichkeit des Food Processors ganz enorm erhöhen !

    Thanks for the very thorough review! How do you feel about it after having it for a few weeks? I feel like the design is fantastic. Is the motor strong enough?

      I got mine yesterday in red and the motor is 500 watts. It's written in the bottom of the machine.

      Hi, I have used it a few times and all I have to say is that I am glad I bought it. I made a lot of sofrito which tends to get liquidy and with the food processor i had it used to leaked out of the bottom of the bowl, big mess. This 1 is sealed so there was no leak at all a big plus and I used the multi - purpose blade for that. I also used the dicing blade that cuts everything into little cubes, used it with peppers also potatoes to make home fries for breakfast. Haven't used the shredding yet. It comes with a separate french fried disc but not sure if it comes with that disc at other places. I got mine at QVC with easy pay. I'm super happy with it of course the main reason for me is the bowl being sealed. If you buy it be careful, just pick it up from the base as the bowl comes up. It doesn't lock side ways

      @@janetteemartinez562 Thank you for following up! I think it has too many cool features for me to resist. Did it struggle at all when you diced potatoes? That was my main concern about how powerful it is.

    I need help because I cannot determine what I’m doing wrong. I have watched 2 TH-cam videos, followed the steps:
    1. Put upper drive adapter,(part 16), on drive pin.
    2. Place lower drive adapter,(part 17), over upper drive adapter
    3. Place slicing blade on upper drive adapter. (Tried all available blades)
    4. Make sure bowl aligned in only way possible.
    5. Plugged in to 5 different outlets. (Even washing machine outlet)
    6. Press low, high, off/ pulse-
    No green light, cannot get processor to start.
    *I read the instructions, looked on TH-cam and called support.
    Cannot figure out the step I am missing/ the mistake I’m making.
    Please help.

      If you don't have the pusher in the feed tube far enough, the safety switch will not be activated. The machine will not power up.
      I hope this will help.
