Just got my very first KitchenAid stand mixer for Christmas yesterday! Only took 45 years. 😂 I’ve already used it three times. Thanks for the great video! ❤
Spent the money on the meat grinder. We were very satisfied with the results. We took it all apart, washed it throughly and put it away. A few days later, we used it again and cleaned it. Then we didn't use it for a few weeks. A terrible smell was permeating our kitchen, like something dead. We searched until one day, we got near the KitchenAid and the smell was coming from it. My husband took the whole thing apart and in the area of the motor, it was filled with nasty, moldy old meat juices which, of course, had been there for a while. It was a terrible mess to clean up. Apparently, the meat juices are forced back into the motor housing through the attachment hole. We take care of our equipment so it was due to us not cleaning. In fact, after cleaning the mess, we found TH-cam videos of others showing what you have to do to clean it. Just what we did....take the whole thing apart. After going through that, we have not used the meat grinder again. It's just not worth having to do that deconstruction every time. Makes me sad because we were really planning some great ways to save money with it.
here in canada the unit with all the attachment can easily come to over $1200 cad. we found on the internet a cheaper version very sturdy and made of metal with all the attachments included for way less than half the price
I have a Cuisinart ice cream and gelato maker that freezes as it churns. This means I don’t have to freeze a bowl overnight, sometimes you want ice cream without aforethought NOW lol! Freezing a bowl overnight seems easy enough but check you can fit any bowl you buy into your freezer, many side by side fridge freezers can’t accommodate a large bowl plus the bowl takes up soooooo much room, you can’t use your whole freezer for food storage. Yes, I know, these are First World problems!
Got my buttercream yellow KitchenAid stand mixer approx 25 yrs ago! Still love it! We made thumbprint cookies and icing w/ it’s help just yesterday😊 No regrets here! I think I need to try the ice cream and the bread attachments!! Has anyone used either?
I have the citrus juicer which works perfectly fine but I do find that the strainer basket fills up rather quickly if you're juicing several citrus fruits. I don't mind Pope so I won't just pick the seeds out with a fork if I'm just making orange juice to drink but if you want it strained I would just leave the strainer basket out and then just strain the the juice afterwards.
Yes. I just got the grain grinder attachment and have used it twice so far. It is great. I have no issues with it. So far I have ground locally grown, organic soft red winter wheat to make bread. I grind only what I need at the time. I really like it .
Yes, i run my grain thru about three times to get the finest grind. First run is at speed 1 or 2 and at the high end. I am looking to crack the kernels, next time thru i keep the speed at 2 and drop the grind to about six, third time i increase the speed to 4 and the grind to 3 or 4 and for very fine flour i will increase the speed and the grind is as low i can get it.. Yes this may take a bit longer but the end product is very fine, works great in bread making and it didn't cost $600! I am very pleased with the purchase.
The attachments frustrate the heck out of me! The food processor attachment is unstable, shoots food everywhere except the bowl, and the feeding tube breaks easily. The juicer makes a sticky mess. The apple corer does not have an option to just skin and core and apple…. you have to also spiralize the apple.
I bought the three piece pasta making set about 10-12 years ago. I used the pasta roller a couple times. I didn’t use it for a couples years. When I took it out to use again the pasta kept splitting up. I kept trying, but no use. I cleaned up and looked at it real good. The rubber or whatever it is that guides the pasta out had dry rotted, and was cracked up.😡 I wrote to the company and didn’t get any satisfaction. What a waste of $$$ That set is very expensive! Very unsatisfied customer 😡

I use mine all the time and never had any problem
My favorite attachments are the rototiller and snow blower. PTO drive is a power house...
I really like the chainsaw attachment, it’s been a lifesaver not having to deal with mixed gas. My KA always starts no matter how cold it is.

I just got the sifter/scale for Christmas. Haven't used it yet so i have great homes.
I just got a sifter attachment I had no idea how much I would love it

And who all here has them all besides myself?😂 I use them all and love them!❤
The only thing I want is a banded glass bowl for my 600 PRO! Can’t find one anywhere!

Anyone have the grain grinder & use it to make cornmeal?
Does the scale flip between oz and ml?
ml is a measure of volume, not weight.
You need a warehouse for the storage of these ad on

I wish these lists included weird third party attachments
I have found ordering from KA isn't worth it its always delayed by a week or two.
The jucer attachment has an aluminum bearing that oxidizes once exposed to the acidic citrus juices. It ruins the juice. Don't waste your money.

Just don't order it directly from Kitchen Aid they don't deliver it in a timely manner.
