5 FANCY Piano Chord Hacks to TRANSFORM a SIMPLE TRIAD

- In this tutorial, we learn 5 fancy chord playing styles that can be applied to Country, Pop, Gospel, Rock, or Folk Music Genres. Each of these techniques assumes that the chord will be denoted as a simple triad or played for a longer duration and embellish the chords using a variety of approaches. Along the journey of the lesson, you will learn Grace Notes, “Hammer-ons”, interesting chord voicing using clusters & spread inversions as well as Plagal passing chords.

The Hammer on approach is what brought me to the piano years ago. It can be done on stringed and woodwind instruments but it is tricky. But with practice anything is possible

This has been so useful thank you. at at 07:24 you played in the style of a harp playing Gm/G - D/F# - Dm/F - C/E - Cm/Eb and G/D and can't stop playing it. Can you give me 2 or 3 chords that will take me back to the beginning of the sequence please. It sounds very familiar but can't place it? Also thanks for including the EDM section with the 1-5-10 split - WOW!

I have a 61 key yamaha E363 keyboard. It has touch response.
Can you kindly recommend is it suitable to learn or do you recommend any other model with weighted keys or more number of keys and better sound ?
Nothing wrong with a 61 key having Touch response. However, if you can afford, please consider an 88 key Digital Piano or MIDI controller like Yamaha or Roland

Can you please mention the model you play in videos ? Do you use keyboard's built in piano sound OR is it a piano sound pLugin etc inside pc DAW ?
Also kindly mention the keyboard display software that is displayed live (with blue pressed keys) above the actual keyboard and the chord display tool too.

That is what the video explains. You take the 7 chords, and make adjustments to them. Or eventually you can add in new notes =. Keep learning theory basics. If you are asking this question, this video is too advanced for you at this time. Stick with basic major and minor theory for now.

The piano has something the violin and guitar does not have: the sustain pedal.
Guitars have sustanin pedal haha (the electric)
If a piano is so limited., Why is it the primary instrument of the world? It may be limited binarily as you say, but it can make its own rhythm, make its own accompaniment, similate many instruments for example, bass guitar and most of all sound rich and rewarding as a stand alone instrument which violin, trumpet, flute cannot do . Granted it is true the guitar can be played in a way for its own accompaniment, but it is a long and painful process as the fingertips develop calluses over many years and most give up as I did. Also the piano is the only instrument that several people can play together, at the same time, Its one of the few instruments that one can autonomously as a PLAYER PIANO

Sir, you are by far too good. I am playing by ear. if I cld follow your left hand cords...you are too fast. I only follow the notes, not the names of the notes.
