    Love your videos. Can I ask what you think of the AS Colour heavy tee? Do you like them? Is there a reason why you’d choose to use a pro club instead?

    It was pretty hard to see the comparisons with the color on color fabric. Maybe you could use a UV light or measuring tape next time for the shrinkage comparison. The main point comes across though, so much appreciated.

    I'll cosign Brandoh's message. All cotton shrinks. Some might take a little longer to shrink than others depending on the quality, but they all shrink. I usually hang dry all my tees as well. Blends barely shrink. I have a Gildan Dryblend tee, I printed my logo on with Siser vinyl a few years ago. The T-shirt has the same fit to this day. Along with logo intact. So, if shrinkage, is really a big deal the blended tees are a great alternative way to go.

    Hey bubba,
    Thank you for another helpful video.
    Could you please let me know how they were washed and dried, like, washer and drier setting please?
    Trying to figure out if hot/cold make a big difference or not; same with the dry method, regular or perm press, air fluff, etc
    Thank you again for you time and instruction.
    I pray you’re well.

    • @BigBrandoh
      @BigBrandoh  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      the best way to figure this out is. wash one of your shirts at a cold setting, then wash another shirt at a hot setting and compare those to a brand new shirt. thats the most accurate way of testing for your situation. my settings wouldnt help you. you gotta do it from your machines and with the blanks you use.

    Hey I'm new to your channel, great content bro. I'd like ask, if you think it's a bad idea to buy 100% cotton Tshirts from Chinese wholesalers?
    Also, what would you say is the most popular style of street wear tshirt today?

    • @BigBrandoh
      @BigBrandoh  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      i dont know anything about chinese wholesalers and i really dont know whats popular or on trend now days. i buy blanks based on what my customers like. anything to help make the sell easier.

  • @Marodriguez60

    Have you ever tried Tri Blend shirts? They are a bit more pricey but due to the lower cotton percentage they dont really shrink. They are really soft, but it might be the feel or fit your brand is going for. I just wanted to know if you had an experience tri blend pressing or pricing.

    • @BigBrandoh
      @BigBrandoh  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      my customers dont like tri blend shirts. so i never use them, they are alot more tricky to press on because of the blend. if your customers like tri blends you gotta give'em what they want.

    Took me a while but, I finally found a brand that was readily available and the style I wanted. Heavy style shirt, but also soft. Cost a few dollars more but the customers will appreciate it. Hated the bella fit, next level was good heavy shirts are sold out and limited colors, alstyle always sold out for me at least. Theres more than three brands out here. Take a chance and come up with your own opinions

    Yup all 100% cotton shrinks, even pima cotton, however pima has the best color retention and shrink resistance of all cotton imo. Some customers will tell me a competitor brands cotton doesn't shrink I still shut em down by telling them all 100% cotton shrinks even if it's a cotton poly blend. However most brands have that one initial shrinkage the first dry and doesn't really shrink after that or will gradually shrink over time. We get our pima shirts manufactured for the connoisseurs and those shrink about 1cm after the first dry and thats it we can dry on high for as long as it lasts without further shrinkage, a truly magnificent material, if you can get your hands on one with a heavier weight check it out. We use alstyle 1701 premium as our staple tees and in our tests they will keep gradually shrinking over time, maybe to about 1.5 in max.

    No comments on washing..
    Cause,my cotton shirts dont shrink until dryer gets involved.
    I learned a long time ago to turn shirts inside out,cold water and hang dry. I would do a video on best way to wash your shirts to avoid shrinkage on cotton.but TH-cam is garbage. Get 2 shirts the same. 1 air dryed other put in dryer on heat.
    The results should be easy noticable ..
    Appreciate the videos..

    Does the shrinking ever impact your transfers? When I use EconoPuff the shrinking shirt makes the vinyl look horrible on 100% cotton. I assume you have no issues with HotSplit and SupaColor.

    • @BigBrandoh
      @BigBrandoh  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      no it doesnt. i have wash test videos on my channel showing econo puff pressed on 100% cotton alstyle shirt. with no issues. some shirts shrink more than others. alstyle only shrinks about an inch. some others might shrink 2-3 inch in length and 2-3 in width. all depends on the shirts you use
