What about for like a streetwear brand. What shirt brand(s) do you recommend?
@@MagnetikCult Alstyle 1701 in my personal opinion feels, fits and looks alot like the brand Sullen. That and their 1301 feel alot like generic skate brand tees. The 1701 is a little longer and sliiightly more form fit.
@@FreedomOverFame.Tattoos Thanks for the advice...I will order a sample of each to test it out.
this is the funniest break down i've ever seen but pretty accurate hahahagagaa im a Fat Dad and Thug on the weekends hahahahaaaaa.
Thanks for the info
Always stating pros and cons of everything. Much respect for that. Research goes a long way.
thanks for watchin!!!
🔴 Big Brandoh, Continue producing small business videos. I know I actually take your tips. You know what you’re talking about. I’m learning so much from you.
i appreciate you Shayna! 1,000% thank you for your continued support
Love you man! The transparency on everything you talk on and the honesty is so pure. You are offering a real service and you don't have to. So, thank you my friend, keep being you.
Just found your channel whilst looking for advice on embroidery and sourcing blanks. Thank you for the value you bring - no nonsense, practical and real ready to apply advice.
Thank you so much! I’m in the beginning stage of my brand. I have some designs, I have equipment, and i even have a solid vision, but you gave me some gems. Now I know I need to ask myself some more questions before i spend any more money. I was just about to go “high quality” route, and you really helped me observe the limits of my own perception.
how's the buisness going. it's been a year?
Agreed!!
I've always worn 5 for 10 shirts (Triple AAA, etc) and then after high school I was wearing softer tees that you could get at UNIQLO, hm, etc. In my eyes the softer tees were high quality because of my experience of wearing AAA, etc. So when I started looking for shirts I wanted them to be soft/light and that's what I ran with. The people that ordered the first run of shirts loved the soft shirts, however, my friends who still wore AAA and proclub didn't. They liked the designs but not the shirts. You can't really please everyone but I say just run with what YOU like.
Thanks Brandoh for the knowledge man
thanks for sharing!!! i know that feeling all too well!!! 💯👊🏾💯 thanks for watchin i really appreciate it
Thanks Bro... Just dropped a single in an album and a t-shirt line all In 2 weeks
Just want to show some love for all the help you've been starting my brands journey 👌🙏
I personally found pro club way too boxy, short and the collar was super tight and the shirt felt like I was wearing it backwards. After buying one of every model from over 6 different companies I decided to go with Alstyle "Premium" 1701 but also like the alstyle classic as a backup and M&O as my secondary brand if those are out of stock. All except the classic are made in Mexico and have relatively the same fit. Your videos are what made me decide to order Alstyle in the first place, so thank you. Keep up all the hard work. Love your videos
thats right!!! 💯👊🏾💯 thanks for the continued support
Dude you're the most sane no BS person in this space! Thank you !
The way you talk about this content is pretty effective. You give great advice and teach without it feeling like you're teaching or like I'm in school. It feels more like a conversation. It holds my attention better and presents the information in an easy way.
You have said this several times before. I love you breaking it all the way down. You have been SO HELPFUL!
same message different approach. just tryna help people save money instead of wasting money!!! 💯👊🏾💯
That is so true. I had a bella canvas shirt and a heavy cotton gildan, my client chose the gildan because of the winter. He said because of the winter the gildan shirt looks warmer.
Preference all the way my man! :).
Everyone is different. I carry Gildan, Jerzees, Hanes, Anvil, some Tultex, and some Fruit of the Loom. I keep about 200+ total in stock. I buy from local business' going out of business.
So true, some people also equate thickness, with quality, over softness. Not that it's necessarily true, but people just have different perceptions and requirements.
I didnt even considered getting shirt that I can get if I messed up. That's way better advice then what blanks to pick up and it helps me make a better informed decision. Thanks for the vid
Thank you for this video. I just started selling shirts last year. I just had this conversation with a customer, that I was going to switch to a "better quality" type of shirt this year and he told me that he likes the quality of his shirt just fine- Gildean. And the gem you dropped about getting tshirts that I can get locally if I mess up- yes!
Hey, hey! Brandoh! hey love your content...Im well on my way now. Please keep walking me through this journey. You are AWESOME!
yooooo i got you! thanks for watchin and i appreciate the continued support
I love the story or the message that you put into a story. The logistics of it being actual is outweighed by the message its self. I like the message that you put together here.
Great perspective man! Appreciate you!
Make a video breaking down the different fabrics what’s the difference between ring spun cotton to 100% cotton to those that use some nylon and so forth. Give people option types and example brands that use that fabric material
thanks for the comment. but i probably wont be making a video like that. I can only speak about the shirts I use for my business. I use 100% cotton thats why i show those shirts in my videos. i dont use any ringspun or cotton poly blends. my customers dont like those shirts so i never stock those materials
@@BigBrandoh no worries just been curious cause i hear people speak about but don’t really go into detail about the differences or how each works with certain styles of print or embroidery. Wasn’t sure if you had that info that’s only reason suggested but just came across your channel started binge watching some of the videos great information keep up the great work
the difference is all about weight and feel. thats all. you'll hear people who been in this business say things like "This shirt has a good hand" that just means it has a good soft feeling. the only way to really know for yourself is to order a few different shirts in different materials and test'em out for yourself.
hell yea man, my brand is towards the gym ppl and thats what i was looking for in the shirt i wanted. a soft light feel, ordered a few samples and found the one i liked and stuck to it. no complains so far, the only thing there asking is for different colors.
Which 1 is it? Im lookin for fitted sleeves
LEGIT JUST STARTED 3 DAYS AGO didn't even think about it was surfing offerUp and seen a press on there dude wanted 220$ got him down to 150$ its one of those 5 n 1 type cheap AF found a cricut2 and have been at it nonstop since then trying to perfect it and it's difficult a new found respect for the ones that been doing this for the Long time. But I came across your channel like day 2 and Bro you are The Goto! Channel for LA Tshirt advice love your videos respect your hustle have been tuned in watching every video since I started! I'm gonna stay focused and smash some goals I have set in place and get My brand rolling! Much love Bro Bro [Rob from pomona]
thats right!!! get that money homie! check Printer Supply Warehouse in Long Beach for vinyl and supplies and also Mclogan in Downtown LA for vinyl and supplies.
Respect, right-on for the inside game bro✊🏿
thanks for watchin
Took me years to get things right. The best tshirt to buy is the tshirt your customer feels comfortable in!
AS COLOUR ... real good
Much respect for continuously dropping 💎 💯. So many ppl out here keeping lessons learned from helping others
just tryna help people save money instead of waste money!
Thanks for the tshirt tip about different styles really helpful
Wow! I thought the same. Buy soft feels like quality. Wow thank you for this video
So true bro, I was all pro club back in Cali, now I'm in MN and it's back to the soft styles...LoL
You always dropping nuggets that help with my shop. Thank you
Thank..... Thank you for leading and guiding those who need it ..... your the best🧐🧐✌🏾
I like that, keeping it real.....most people won't but prop's bro for keeping it real. I am just starting in sublimation but I love your videos.
This was the most informative advice! I bought a small batch of different brands and weight to experiment with.
thanks for watchin. good move with testing out shirts. 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
5:55 right on, hit the nail right on the head
This may be a little late, but this video helped me a lot with my own brand...Much appreciated, Bro Brandoh
Big Brandoh, I appreciate this info. I’m getting ready to order some blanks
Thanks Big Brandoh..you always make me think twice..about what I need to do..
thats right! tryna help you save money and not waste it. thanks for watchin
This vid came at the right time, I’m split between a company that has a side seam and a another that is tubular construction. I’m testing these out now to see which one I want to go with & what my audience will like. After 4 years now of following you I’m still learning, Thank BB 🤘🏼⚡️⚡️🤘🏼
yoooo Alex! Get that money! very good point about side seam and tubular. not alot pay attention to that. let me know what you decide to go with. 💯👊🏾💯
Yup. Its all depends our customers. I bought a few dozens of next level and come to find out that some people don’t like soft cotton instead they like the gildan platinum from michaels. The good thing is its only a few miles from me. its all depends on how they feel
Hey thanks for the tip.. about to launch my fist ever attempt into the shirt business and this is something I never thought of. You probably saved me hundreds!!!
Thank You Big Brandoh for sharing your knowledge and experience.
Good info. My lady is just getting up and running and we were stuck on this very scenario lol
Stay spittin game for the up and comers!
💯👊🏾💯
I’m liking just off of the cinematography
Love the cinematography on this video, good quality bro.
That's true bro. Depending on the demographic some like a different style. Made the same mistake couple years ago.
exactly! its an expensive mistake that most of us make. live and learn. thanks for watchin and for sharing
This was a great video with lots of useful information. Thanks again for all the info you share.
i dont offer print services yet, just embroidery, but love watching your videos bro! keep it up!
yoooo i appreciate that!!! 💯👊🏾💯
Dope vid!! Lovin the intro!!! It’s been a minute but thanks for all the game bros.
Always giving out that FREE99 knowledge thank brother 👍🏼
💯👊🏾💯
An actually helpful video 🙌🏽 Super helpful advice. Open my eyes to a few things.
Yo, just starting my business. Luv the way U break it down, answered alot of my questions 👊🏾
Thank you so much for keeping it real. I love the information that you give. It is very helpful.
Dude thank you so much, that just made me redirect my search!
This is pure gold!! My question is when u buy all style or pro club, do u remove the neck label and replace it with one of ur own label? Every screen printer I go to say that it’s illegal to do that
sometimes with alstyle. depends, on 2 of my brands i press my own label in. on the other 2, i leave them in.
Big Brandoh you are the goat everything you say is legit. I've learned a lot from you ✌
i appreciate that!!! thanks for the continued support
Thank you
thanks for watchin
Thanks for the info, just getting myself together and looking for as much info as possible. Very helpful info! Peace
This was really insightful. Thank you.
Dude this video is so helpful. Thank you.
Very True. I hate ProClub but definitely have an audience who prefer it. Guess I need to buy 2 different style for the respective consumer
Aloha Big Brandon 🤙
Appreciate all the info from experience ...much Mahalo's my braddah 🙏🤙
cheeeeee thanks for watchin 🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾
I appreciate your help bro
💯👊🏾💯
Went down that root now i try to keep a mixture even the super cheap thin tees which seems to be working and i'm in the UK .
thats right!! 👊🏾💯
Yea man this is one issue ive been running into also . ill just buy different tshrits and try them out. And yea everyone wants different t shirts.Im still trying to figure out my audience.
knowing your audience is a big part of this business but once you lock that down it makes the sell a whole lot easier
Most solid advice I've heard yet!
Real. Straight up. 👏🏼
Great information...
Love what you stated about considering the convenience of being able to get the T-shirt at anytime without waiting on an order. Thats exactly why I choose PRO-CLUB. I'm also from the L.A area. Quick question, is there anywhere this way that I can buy Pro-Clubs for the low? Like under the $6-$7 price tag or in bulk? Please let me know. Thanks
Booooom homerun vid right here 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for this video. Im a newbie in the tshirt world. Its something I always wanted to do.
Im still struggling on how to get started, im sure i’ll figure it out sooner than later tho 🤷🏽♀️
Well don't watch a loser to get started like this guy in the video
Good looking out on this bro ... I send this video out to my customers... So they know what T shirts to buy... #GMONSTAS
thats right!!! thanks for watchin 👊🏾💯👊🏾
I wanted to ask. What would the difference be in a.) knowing what your customers want to buy before spending (e.g. what you said) and b.) having your own vision and pushing it out through passion and marketing?
who would you market too if you didnt know who you wanted to sell too? knowing your audience is a huge part of this process. whether you buy blanks based on who you want to sell too or use your own vision blanks. you still gotta know who you are selling too.
@@BigBrandoh thank you so much for the insight!! Is there any way I could email you? I had a question about launching my clothing line. pretty exciting stuff! :)
Thx for all the infos since years bro. One luv
I agree. The problem is how do you know what they like?
You gotta order samples, and get ready to mess a couple too ✌🏻
Do you mean pass samples to your potential customers and see which one they like better?
@@MagnetikCult well, like Brandoh said you gotta find your ideal blank and do some research, personally I started using Gildan, it sells great but then I went with the Anvil soft style, I ordered some other blanks as well, I tried like 5 other brands and decided to stick with the Anvil one, I guess it all depends on what final product or brand you trying to develop.
look at your customers on social media. see what they currently wear. what brands they wear, how they wear their shirts, what style they wear. this will help you. if your target audience is wearing work out clothes and fitted shirts... you can see it on their social media. thats what they wear currently. so thats the style shirt you need to offer them.
@@BigBrandoh God bless you. I followed your advice and searched for my niche's hashtag on Instagram and they are all into fitness. Mostly with well defined gym bodies but some curvy people who are on the their weight loss or fitness journey. I feel more confident with the type of shirts I chose and can't wait to open my shop. Thanks again for your insight. 🙏🏾
Thanks for the advice.
Great video,good information. Thank you.
