    Koki Niwa is the weirdest player ever, literally. So sad we do not see him winning that often...
    He is absolutely unique, and I wish, I wish, I wish he would manage to hold on better, not losing so many direct points.
    But it is always a different kind of joy to watch him, because he seems so chanceless, at first glance. No bh or fh power to fear, a good, but not spectacular serve, and it is VERY rare that you see something like the forth set in this match where he is so far in the lead. I like him.

      Couldn't agree more. I really like Koki Niwa because he has such a good feel for the ball but I'm not sure his footwork is always optimal. Wish he could put the whole package together - he has been playing a long time the same way.

    Please continue with this beautiful, relatively low and dynamic, angle! It makes watching table tennis so much more enjoyable and exciting. This is what we have always been asking for. Thank you WTT!

    Trial by fire: this should give Kallberg the confidence boost internationally that he so badly needed. Good for him. He has been so reliable in the German league over the last couple years.

    • @astana2853
      @astana2853 ปีที่แล้ว

      What can you enjoy with this angle? The players are too far and the 3/4 view doesnt allow us to really see the trajectory of the ball. We need the have the same view as the players.

    Problem is you never know which Koki Niwa is going to show up. The one who barely cares to try to move to reach the ball, or the one is who is inspired. He must be disappointed in the manner in which he lost this one, though it never shows.

    Easily the most humiliating defeat by Koki Niwa after being almost 6 points up. The first half of the last set he played with pure experience making Anton play long and then the overconfidence bug might have bitten him. Really disappointed

    This is the best camera angle to watch table tennis but somewhere in the middle of starting camera angle and when play camera angle is the best distance to watch table tennis and zumed out if point go wider. Little little closer will be top best because this is not big tennis and ball is only 4cm.
    Sometimes cant see little wrist movements which causes to aponent miss next shot. This is not big tennis and details are mutch mutch important . Also always is good angle when is wright handed player closer to camera but when lefthended player is closer cant see his micromovements which is mutch important than in big tennis .Need two camera angle for right handed player and for left handed because we dont see lefthended player micromovements when play closer to camera.

      Also the color of taraflex is too bright and cause poor contrast to ball which cause bad wisibility

    Koki Niwa coach is the reason for this loss, I bet he never competed on this level and can't judge when and how he should be using the timeout, how on earth he use the timeout while the serve with Koki and it is still 9-4, wouldn't this affect Koki tempo and concentration I will let him play this point and whatever the outcome I will take the Timeout @ 9-6 which would be in my player favor to slow down the tempo of the match rather than to stop my player @ 9-4!!!!!

    • @amberfellow7784

      exactly at some point of the rallies you can't see where the ball is, the camera change from time to time is also not that good.

      We most likely won't. The competition is very rough in Japan now, with many 2001-2003 players being very strong. Uda, Shunsuke, Shinozuka and of course Harimoto right now is way stronger imo.

    Kallberg is still cheating on the service. One or two points can make all the difference. I won't let Koki get a pass either since he had a few questionable serves too.
    Edit: to clarify, Kallberg cheated on practically every service. Had the officials paid attention, the outcome would have been completely lopsided.
