    the thing that I always admire abd respect about Curry is how he never gave up on his career. His first few years in the NBA were almost career ending because it appeared that his ankles were never gonna be strong. However he kept training and working, now he's on his way to be a hall of famer and I'm just a huge fan of him

      what, you guys have 3 prototypical all star defensive talents. The best and most efficient score of all time. (who lost a 3-1 to you guys then joined). And the best three point shooting duo ever. The salary cap causes players especially in free agency to move to already stacked teams, that is how you end up still having players like west, and igoudala somehow.

    the first couple of seasons with Curry on the team were rough to say the least. there was one game against Portland I think, that so many Warriors players were injured they almost had to foreit the game. I remember Don Nelson having to put in someone so injured that they couldn't even run the court but had to just to have 5 players. But that's what makes the franchise so great, regardless of all the issues in the past they had, the overall vision was always there. curry along with great player development is hands down the reason they dominate the NBA! So for all those Warriors haters out there, remember that greatness is earned and developed bought and sold as most of you think.

      Right. Warriors rise to power in the NBA is so inspiring. I'm a knick fan and we have a young roster and a rising star in KP. Hopefully our future can be as bright as you guys. We had a similar situation to the monta ellis one with Melo where he wanted the shine to himself and was holding KP back. I honestly don't understand how people hate on the warriors. Everyone of their players was disrespected from day one by so called NBA analyst and scouts. They're proving everyone wrong now and will continue to do it for the next 5-7 years.

    • @Unreelme
      @Unreelme 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Dude ray Pittman, People shit on the warriors because they are a product of the broken flat salary cap era, along with the market size issue. Every team gets the same salary cap values, and maxes, despite existing in different market sizes and tax environments, team success. The warriors can pick up better players than they should be able to because everyone can only pay the same amount. Going to a team like the warrior will garner them better wages in endorsements etc. A worse team can only offer the same thing as the warriors. Why would they ever go anywhere else. How is a team like the warriors able to sustain the likes of igoudala, thompson, west, curry, green, durant, bell, and others. Well because there is no weighting system to balance the league. There is no proper intervention system to break up these teams because it makes the NBA money to have a really good team. It doesn't make for a balanced league, or for a exciting regular season or post season. The finals might be interesting but everything else is basically meaningless.

    Lebron had a great eye for talent. A talent he didn’t realize would be destined to steal 3 NBA rings from Him. Steph is a great Cinderella story. If i may be allowed to put it that way. He changed the game. He is a great example on how underdogs can come out victorious and be on top.

I understand its about opinions and I dont have to agree but sometimes they just crap on players for views, like you said. But last week I watched a video about the death of sports commentary since this pandemic and it's kinda true. What purpose does ESPN hold is there are no sports? Obviously, sports will return and we need someone to show us highlights and updates but I think opinionated sports commentary shows are weaker now. How many more times are you going to listen to GOAT comparison or Brady debates before you just turn the TV off?

    Instead, they drafted Rubio and Flynn.

    Stephen Jackson actually came out to the media publically and said he wanted out of Golden State BEFORE training camp. He had the year before made a huge stink that he wanted a contract extension and even though the front office was terrible and they gave it to him in a very strange way (VP stepped in and bypassed the GM to do the deal which was a terrible contract on top of that) he was explained that they were going to be in a rebuild and if he really wanted to stay and he said he did. Then he goes in public and starts saying he wants out and making the locker room a cancer apparently.

      NBA wasn't so focused on 3s bk then either. Curry revolutionized everything.
      People bk then wanted LeBron or Kobe 2.0s. tbh even mark Jackson didn't want curry. Steve Kerr changed everything by having curry play more minutes, focus on his ability to drain 3s extremely accurately and having him change his playstyle so he won't be as injury prone.

    I just goes to show that sometimes it's the coach and the system and not always the player's fault. If Curry ended up somewhere else, he would spend his whole career spotting up in the corner for 3, like Steve Kerr or BJ Armstrong.
