This will be a slow trade season as it's going to be every year going into the future because of the first and second apron. Most of the contending teams that really need a guy to push them up a spot or two are very limited in what they can do because of the cap. This is going to affect trade deadlines during the season for years. Until they change the rules it's going to be very difficult to make big significant trades and that's a bummer because trade possibilities are such an awesome shake-up.
This new CBA is the worst thing to happen to the NBA imo. The amount of rules and stipulations preventing player movement is insane. And the top line talent may get paid, but fringe allstars are not getting justly compensated for their efforts by comparison. Adam Silver and the people they hire have destroyed everything they touched.
@@andysauro1500 not only the fringe Allstars but the guys that perform enough to get even double digit salary from single digits. Those summer markets dry up and they end up taking less for shorter years( Gary Trent, haywood highsmith)
LeBron is not elite 😂 one of the worst plus minus in the whole league youd think he is on the wizards. It’s actually scary how much undeserved credit and glazing lebron gets by media even when he is clearly playing bad
as a kings fan here’s my take on the de’aaron fox situation: it’s not often that the kings have a player of this caliber in his prime and so this is a move they absolutely CAN NOT afford to mess up i don’t think they are absolutely selling him, i just think they’re opening up offers to see if anything blows us away we are in a really weird spot right now having both older guys, prime guys, and then the idea of trading for stephon castle confuses things even more so having as many options as possible is pivotal for our now and future
if we dont trade our vets im going to be so depressed -- idc if we get wins bc of our young guys but because of some guys who wont be with us when we try to win out is crazy
I think Masais gonna swing big. We lose a lot of flexibility as soon as Scottie’s max contract kicks in. We have the pieces; useful expirings and picks.
I’m just at the point where I think a lot of the trade hype is gone. Teams that are close to good feel like they don’t have the pieces to make a trade and the teams that want to sell aren’t getting the returns they’re hoping for from buyers
I honestly could see the Timberwolves not making any moves until the offseason. This has been a brilliant January and Randle is the only player I want gone (it would be really hard to get a team to trade for him with his form this season)
This whole idea the lakers need to add a superstar is ridiculous. They dont have the talent or capitol to trade for one. If they aquired mike conely and clint capella they would be much improved and its feasible. Maybe itd not those two exact guys but they need a decent ball handler and a decent big man
@@jonygspot I'd give up knecht in a deal for sexton and Kessler if I was them. Having Reaves on a ridiculous cheap deal enables me to move Dalton for a guard that can get to the rim and collapse defenses and get the big in Kessler that ad wants
@@jonygspot not much of a laker fan but without those 2 pieces it made the dfs trade pointless without solving that first. Doesn't help that they drafted a kid who can't even see the floor in schfino, when they had cam or Jaime right there
Fox to San Antonio Ingram to Sac K Johnson, Barnes to New Orleans A combo of picks to balance value. That works financially. I like a 1,2 punch of Sabonis & Ingram and running the offense through Sabonis like they wanted to do when getting him. Get a scoring guard that can bring up the ball or get Simmons for VERY cheap next year and tell him, "Just bring it up, and distribute to the scorers. Play D on your matchup. That's it." Or get Schroeder to facilitate.
@@suburiboy it's designed to force Stars to do what Brunson did. To make it work and have the rare financial advantages over the comp they mow the path to the Star to take less upfront. I think the pistons are more likely to go get a backup pg/playmaker to take the load off of Cade. Although ingram would be kinda fun, i could see Brogdon more likely.

Bub Carrington
Jordan Poole
Bilal Coulibaly
Cooper Flagg
Alex Sarr
Anyone who thinks this starting 5 wouldn’t be good in 2-3 years is a casual.
Good but good enough to do anything meaningful? Probably not
trade jorden poole and we g
Bub bilal and cooper are cold, alex is disappointing and Jordan Poole is a bum
@ Poole is a bum averaging 21 and 5 on 40 from three and 87 from free throw? Lmao you’re a casual. Sarr also shows great upside. You’re tripping.

I hope to god that we trade Kuzma, Brogdon or Jonas for some picks or other Vets
Kuzma needs to leave
Who's "we"?

These apron rule are ridiculous. Idk how any player agreed to it. Just seems like capping their own salaries.

I feel like Utah has to be talked about in these discussions. Sexton would benefit so many teams. Him and Collins are for sure getting moved

Brooklyn sent Bridges to NY so don't always assume teams will let bad blood stop a trade.
Yea but ny also sent them a crazy package with a crazy amount of first rounds picks it’s impossible to say no to that

Cam Johnson to the Pistons for Tobias Harris and a 1st.
