@@officeblokedaz I love you Daz, but you don't speak for everyone. For you to point-blank say that NO one can support two teams is absurd. I guess because I've supported two teams my whole life, that makes me no one.
A new Wrexham fan from Alabama, Wrexham has a large following in the states now, I'm also an Atlanta United fan, but the Georgia bulldogs in the SEC college football are my favorite. Love watching the office blokes channel, Wrexham will be playing in north carolina this year and it's already sold out, and I believe they're playing manchester united in san diego on their American tour
As a relatively recent US fan of the Premier League (around seven years now) I'm really enjoying your videos on what's happening with Wrexham. I'm learning so much about English Football in your conversations amongst yourselves. As an American fan this was fascinating and very informative. Great job and more please!
I started working with a lad, Richie, in 1992. I soon asked him which team he supported, and he replied "United & Liverpool". He was dead serious. I still can't get my head around it.

Men's team won promotion and the women's team won promotion. Men's team on first bus, women's team with Rob and Ryan on the second, Phil Parkinson with the rest of his staff and family on the third.
all 4 of wrexham's teams are champions in their respective leagues this year: men's, women's, youth men's, youth women's second bus has the women's team, third bus has the staff
Im a long time soccer fan. Growing up it was hard to watch MLS just bc the quality of play. Im from Grand Rapids Mi, so im naturally a Detroit fan, but there is no MLS team. I cant in good conscience root for a Chicago team or root for an Ohio club. Watching Wrexham has been more fun to be emotionally invested due to the documentary. Ive been watching games on hulu enjoying it more than being a fan based on playing FIFA and liking Man Utd / Real Madrid/ Ac Milan/ Bayern Munich. Wrexham reminds me of the potential of being like a Green Bay Packers. A small market team, with a large following, and a die hard local base.
I live in San Diego, CA and was surprised to read that Wrexham & Man U are playing a friendly here in July. At first I was wondering how such a match would come about between two very different caliber of teams. But then again, United has occasionally come to the states some summers to trounce on an MLS team or two, so basically the same thing. 😛 Good on Wrexham, help them bring in more money for a bigger payroll.
Mid table is most likely the best case scenario in their first season. Anywhere from 10-14 would be a great season. Would give them a rather decent foundation to build on. Though, I'm of the belief / opinion they should avoid relegation back down by a narrow margin.
The tiktok deal was a 2 year deal that's up. With the success of the series. The renegotiation or new sponsor will be a pretty big deal. Wait till season 2 hits this will become much more than it is now.
You're RIGHT to worry about pricing out your next generation of fans. MLB baseball has done that. The Average Family of 4 can't afford $300.00 for a game including snacks and transportation. Also MLB by making most regular season game and ALL of their Playoff and World Series games start at 8pm Eastern means that school age kids can't see the entire game.... This has led to a HUGE decline in American kids wanting to play baseball. MLB Baseball has effectively killed off a Generation of Fans and Players. Love y'alls channel, Rick Charleston SC
I'm so pleased they are getting what they need. I wish you'd be less negative ffs seems like you're talking about negatives, hooligans etc., what you give attention to you'll get. Don't promote it on your podcast! They've had 15 years of crap. It's obvious you haven't researched before talking about it. The mens team have one bus,the female team have another. Then everyone else that has played a part physio's etc., stop talking crap.
They are a flash in the pan. It’s interesting over there now cuz ooo the Hollywood people are here. Over here I haven’t heard anything about it. Must just be on the owners social media
A lot of the players they have signed came down from league two and league one. I agree though, this story has taught me a lot more about English Football. I didn’t know there are so many levels and I basically knew about promotion and relegation. To be honest, American professional sports are horrible as far as lower level teams not even trying to win once they are out of the race.

The fact that you guys said mid-table & they ended up getting a double promotion 😂... it's insane the business savvy that is going into this team
3 buses: 1st bus mens’ team, 2nd bus womens’ team (also promoted) and the owners, 3rd bus, staff.
You can absolutely support two teams so long as there in different leagues

Derby County
