Just wanted to add that a battery replacement will be inevitable, especially for those who keep their devices for as long as possible. Practicing good charging habits can extend how long the battery will last before you need a replacement. For example: if you don't have good charging habits and constantly drain your battery really low, leave it in extreme heat/cold etc you will need a battery replacement sooner than someone who practices good habits That is all :)
any device that has a wireless charger should have a temperature sensor that will slow down or stop charging if it's too hot. this also applies to wireless chargers. You can also buy a wireless charger with a built in fan, samsung and google both sell ones with built in fans that kick on when needed. also turning off fast wireless charging will reduce the heat exponentially.
Hmmm didn't know that they made wireless chargers with fans But that sort of proves the point that wireless charging creates more heat vs wired It slipped my mind that you can turn off fast wired and wireless charging I've seen those options on my flip5 but I'll have to verify if the OnePlus has them

@@anthonytech You should enable slow charging when sleep mode is enabled in the settings under modes and routines.
That's a good idea
I don't usually charge my phones while I sleep but I'll try to remember this to tell others
