Hello Abida mam, hope you are doing good. Basically from Thiruvalla in Pathnamthitta district now settled in Kozhikode. As a great lover of Biriyani i started making at home. Specially with the Kaima rice. From almost 10 years i make Biriyani with Basmati rice the Kozhikodan sryle. Because i tried making with Kaima rice once and it got overcooked. As the saying goes cat who fell in hot water once is always ....after which i always wish i cud have the inner confidence to attempt once more. But never again tried with Kaima rice. Though i have seen your all videos tons of times because you are using Kaima rice in never paid detail attention. Last week i was alone at home and happened to watch your detailed master class Malabar Biriyani making. I dont know if you will believe the minute your video finished i straight away went and purchased all the food items required making my mind the next day it will be your style of Biriyani making. I cant express the confidence after watching your video. It was as if i was always a expert with Kaima rice. The Biriyani making with tips like when to add salt, how much to saute the onions, when to add water, i challenge the TH-cam malayalee home cooks if someone else has gone to such important and minute details. I've lived in border regions of South and really really loved Malabar biryani. Whenever I go towards the Malabar coast it's a must to have Malabari biryani but I wasn't sure of the recipe. Whenever I go out to eat Malabar biryani is my number one on my order list. A small suggestion from my side would be to the cameraman.Pls take good shots of the food as well bcz inside of the vessel was shown a bit less.So how the texture of the rice and level of water before the flame was switched off got missed a bit fast.pls consider it in the coming videos😊

I've lived in border regions of South and really really loved Malabar biryani. Whenever I go towards the Malabar coast it's a must to have Malabari biryani but I wasn't sure of the recipe. Whenever I go out to eat Malabar biryani is my number one on my order list.
