Augie Doggie Eats an Olive

My friend recently adopted a 'Beagle' puppy - 7 months old. My suspicion is that it is 50% Beagle, 50% Jack Russel. As I have never owned either breed, let me know what you think. However, this evening we were drinking a couple beers and eating some black olives. Well, the dog wanted one... he was not quite sure what to do with it. By the way, the dog's name is 'Augie' - for those of you old enough to remember the 60's cartoon, Augie Doggie and Doggie Daddy... If I recall, the voice for Doggie Daddy was Jimmy Durante. Before I get negative comments, olives are not bad for the dog (the salt in the brine is not great - but this is not a steady diet), and that aside, what is the point of having access to a puppy if you don't mess with it? This is when they are fun.
