Love your videos! I was hoping you could do one on GL1500 thermostat replacement. I have heard guys talk of going in from the front by removing the radiators, there is another guy here on YT (GregoryH) who shows a brief video of removing the carbs like you do here and going in from the top, both of which are a LOT of work, and then I have heard that you can get to it by simply removing the right fan and going in from the side. Thanks a bunch!

I don't know if you can get to it through the radiator slot, I'll be honest with you I really don't think so. I have done that move to get to some vacuum lines but there is not much you can get to other than that by removing the radiator. It's directly underneath the carburetors and really crammed in there if you don't remove those carburetors. We're moving the carburetors is the only way I would do it and after that you only have to disconnect two bolts and two hoses.

You want as much space as you can make to work in there, I would suggest taking the carburetors off. There is a labyrinth of hoses connected to it and around it and you're just not going to be able to work comfortably without going in from the top overhead via carburetor removal. Been there bro, just take out the carburetors

I can't understand the way you wrote that but I would use the vacuum hose diagram in the full service manual
