  • I had two weeks to prep for this week's market, so I felt like I have a good amount to sell. Check out what I made!

Isn't it just adorable?! I love how it turned out. Can't wait to make some of the other critters from the same line.

Thank you! That yarn is Yarn Bee's Cosy with a Twist at Hobby Lobby. I love it especially for making jellyfish, squids, and octopuses.

I have been looking and looking and can't find the website I got it from. It was a free pattern. I'll keep looking, and if I can find it, I'll let you know.

Ha ha ha! I didn't see your response until just now... and I was looking especially for your question so I could tell you I found the pattern!!! Lol! It's from Yarnybox, just like you found... So funny! I'm glad you found it already. I just made 5 a couple nights ago - well, started them. I need to sew the yolks onto the whites yet. I was on her site looking at the patterns she suggested in her recent video that make good Christmas products to sell, and I found the little egg pattern.

I don't like sounding stupid, but here goes. Can someone tell me how to find these markets and what they actually are? I wasn't aware that Farmer's Markets allow you to sell crochet, etc. HELP PLEASE AND THANK YOU.

Definitely not a stupid question! It can be hard to know where to find markets. Many times, it's spread by word of mouth and not advertised anywhere, as far as for vendors wanting to sell. Perhaps some farmer's markets may not allow anything other than food stuffs, but the ones around my area allow handcrafted items as well. I don't like to participate in the ones here though because they have so many stipulations and rules you have to follow. To find other markets, you can look for groups on Facebook. Try doing a search for vendor groups in your area. For example, for the larger town near me, there are a couple groups using some form of "Tricities Bazaars" as their title. These are groups where market planners will put a request out for vendors. Be careful to watch for scammers though, as they infiltrate these groups and post fake events in order to get the sign-up fees from you.
You can also pay attention to various events happening in your area. Keep an eye out especially now over the holiday season for Craft Bazaars, Craft Fairs, or Holiday Bazaars. Many schools will hold a bazaar or fair where they'll have local businesses/handcrafters selling. Go to one and start asking the people selling there how to sign up for one. Usually, the vendors all talk and will know of other events happening. Once you get in to one, you should start hearing about others.

Yes, I bought the pattern on Etsy. It was designed by TH-camr Madi's Crochet Corner. www.etsy.com/listing/1412486965/crochet-jellyfish-pattern-crochet?click_key=1a446ad435af9837f5127a8fef76674801360613%3A1412486965&click_sum=b74b20d0&ref=shop_home_active_7&crt=1
