Koikatsu Master 🙇 your experience with this mirrored mine trying to mod literally anything into Koikatsu, extremely relatable. You got a great end result though so bit of a difference there 😅
That scale modifier in Unity though... I did this tutorial shortly after you released it and got frustrated with that same issue you ran into. Left it like that until today when I decided to do it again: same exact result. Decided "screw it, let's scale it to 100 see what happens. What's the worse that can ha-" *Shoes are perfect and pretty in-game* LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Seriously though, thank you so much for this tutorial. Now that I've gotten over that obstacle, I feel like I'm ready to tackle bigger projects. Oh, and about you feeling like you should focus on one creative thing at the time: glad you've realized that you can work on multiple things in parallel. Sometimes taking a break form something will help you resolve it or improve it after looking at it from a different perspective thanks to something else you've been working on. It's actually faster/more efficient working that way instead of forcing yourself on one thing at the time only.
I've wanted to get into Koikatsu for a bit now myself for a project of mine, and another dev reccomended your videos. Now I just want to curl up and cry. The things we willingly suffer for our dreams.
thanks a lot for trying and getting together something that atleast can gives us a good step into cloth modding! it's thanks to you that i was able to modd in the hair and accesories i wanted. you're really appreciated man keep it up and i hope your game goes great!
Thank you for highlighting the tedious and headbanging moments that show just how mentally draining modding can be, even for experts. It really makes me appreciate the intricate, specific clothing that modders create for a niche game, catering to players with similar tastes. Another great video! ❤
Mann, looking at this video make me depress, cuz i used to have a hard time importing armor from another games to koikatsu before this video, after a bunch of videos on mesh adjusting, weight painting, etc... i finally did it ( most likely, armor still clip in some area ) Now i'm back for more depressing with headmod .........
I can honestly say: No, you really shouldn't make clothing mods. If satan himself has spoken and there really is no other way for you to achieve the shape of an outfit then may God have mercy on your soul because this really is difficult to do, it's like trying to defuse a bomb, navigating through all of the things that can possibly go tits up, it's even worse if you either don't have a copy of the mesh with weights already assigned or for whatever reason you can't get a decent weight transfer. That said it's extremely satisfying when it all does finally come together and work... or if.
- Wake up
- Drop most detailed Koikatsu tutorial after hiatus
- Refuse of elaborate further

The bright side is that retexturing and accessory importing is usually much more efficient!
@@koikdaisyvids5855Hello, one question for you. What Blender version do you use for Koikatsu modding now or currently?

That noise. That exact noise is one I have made countless times when modding Koikatsu.
I don't like that noise.

Legend bro you are amazing! Just know you helped me and I'm grateful
Ty so much boss 💙💙
is that the puzzle plank galaxy theme song?
Can you atleast go over modding something like GLOVES? because I desperately want to import custom Meta Runner Arms
Sometimes I'm use Chara Studio animation playback , There will be a short pause, about 0.5-1 second. What could be the cause of this?
Now do a video on how to make the default dress and skirts sit properly! 😆
Thanks
Is editing the existing clothes/editing the clothing states of existing clothes easier?
Can you make a guide on how to create body mods?
Why doesn't my version of KK modding tools have that window for easily building assets and zipmod? Is there an option or menu I'm missing somewhere?
Oh you can find that in the "Window" tab. I opened it and docked it on the left.

Would this work for converting mmd clothing into koikatsu clothing?

:D
So... this was a waste of time
You didn't even made a good clothing mod or headmod 😒
