Good video, well explained. Keep making content like this man, I like that you really put some humor in the video too. maybe in the future your channel will grow more
@@koikdaisyvids5855 The cha in the unity creator at 11:00. It's been a few months since I did this though, I think my previous comment didn't load or something. But last time I did it there was no cha accessory tab for the unity thing.
Oh yeah that's the component. I'd guess that if you don't have that coming up in the search, you probably haven't installed KKModdingTools. In the description, there's a link to the github where you can download it from.
You would need to properly weight them to the KK character armature, and there's a more specific set of requirements for the .csv file and asset bundle. I recommend checking out the readme in the Clothes Example in KKModdingTools and also join the discord and asking for help in #mod-modeling.
@@koikdaisyvids5855 yeah but these outfits I would like to import are hard to replicate so I would prefer to transfer them from Xenoverse 2 directly. I might check the guide on the readme, I have extracted the clothes files on Blender but from there I have no idea on what to do
I have another question. How do i edit clothing pieces? One guy edited a clothes top and removed some parts from it without editing it. Is it hard to do?
@@koikdaisyvids5855 I tried to unpack a zipmod and edited It but when i repacked It , It doesn t show up anymore in the item list. I only touched the 3d model but something went wrong with repacking. I edited the unity 3d file and converted It back to zipmod format. How do i do the things you mentioned? Basically i want to hide a skirt from an armor.
You don't need to edit the files at all. You can just create an alpha mask by using something like paint.net or photoshop, and then use MaterialEditor to apply it within the character maker. I have an old texturing tutorial that should help you get started. th-cam.com/video/vwRkPZVNSsc/w-d-xo.html
the only problem I have is that I can't colour the textures using the game sliders so it's hard to replicate colours. Some items can't be coloured, the modded ones in particular

Just as a disclaimer:
Links are disabled for new YT channels, so it may be some time before they're clickable.
Could you make hair tutorial too, please. Hair in acc, maybe the clothes too 😊
smh my zipmod isn't compressed like yours, but in .Zipmod, and when i put that on mods nothing happened
Did you click the button to make the zipmod? Should work the same.
when i opened the moddingtoolsmaster folder in unity, I dont have the asset bundles tab in the top left like you do. Where do i find that?
You can open it by going to the "Window" dropdown.
@@koikdaisyvids5855 thank you. I was worried that I missed something when installing
Any idea why I don't have a cha accessory tab?
Cha accessory tab? You mean the accessory tab in the Koikatsu chara maker, or the cha accessory component in KKModdingTools?

@@koikdaisyvids5855 Ok I'll try it again and see if it works.
Make sure you open the folder as a project in Unity.
What if i want to import clothes from a videogame like DBZ Xenoverse 2? Do you know how to do that?

I've found that many outfits can be created by retexturing an existing outfit to look similar, but of course that solution has its limitations.

It's actually pretty easy if you use an alpha mask, or even modify the texture to be transparent where you don't wanna see it.

@@koikdaisyvids5855 i figured it out thanks, so you can just delete the textures and the 3d model will disappear anyway

podrias actualizar los links?
Lo siento, TH-cam ha desactivado los links en mi cuenta.

great video, could you make tutorial clothes mod too, please
There is no material editor option on the item i imported. I updated material editor plugin still no luck. Any ideas?
That is weird. Maybe try installing a newer version of BepInEx?
