It doesn't fits dog
It didn't make sense and it was scrapped before Iban left, Iban just googled 'Devourer of Gods' for inspiration and found Aldritch from Dark Souls 3, but hadn't actually played the game or known it's stories.
The helmet he saw on Google was from 'Aldrich the Devourer' which ate the god of illusion/moon, Gwyndolin, whose helmet that belongs to.
Since obviously he didn't know that, he came up with that concept for DoG as a way to pay tribute, but obviously most people corrected him and it got scrapped.

Man, this shit is incredible. You do really good work man, its seriously impressive.
One thing that I would personally like more is if you made the choir a bit more powerful. With their current state it feels like the choir is a bit drowned out by the rest of the music.
That's actually what I did with the v1.
The problem with that was it had the opposite effect: the choir drowned out everything else, becoming particularly muffling of the arpeggios during segments of Scourge of the Universe and Universal Collapse. From my fiddling during the mixing, the role of the choir seems better suited to be atmospheric lest it be overbearing on the rest of the song like it was before - a common complaint with the v1. I do think that with the v2, you are right that could be ever so slightly louder in areas with otherwise light instrumentation, though, now that I look back at it.
@@ThriplerexAfter looking back at the v1 remake, I agree. The choir was definitely too loud.
I was being a bit nit-picky with the newer one, so I apologize for that.
DOG is already my Favorite soundtrack and this revamped one has made me love it EVEN MORE

These last few covers have been revamping the few songs I wasn't satisfied with. It's as if you are reading my mind. Every last one was a song I personally though needed to be treated better by you. The DoG nonstop remixis no different.

imo, impressed how it turned out, genuinly good for some, i however dislike how some instruments are almost silent (like the begining for ceaseless void), im not saying that you didnt make a good remix, just that i dislike some parts volume, the remix is good otherwise and i hope to see more calamity ost ....remixes, remixed? one of those 2 variants of remix fits... anyways keep up good work
