This came perfectly in time to use as boss music in my D&D campaign against a giant space dragon!! Thanks a billion for such a good orchestration friend, and that’s a sub from me. Roar next…?
Much more menacing than the original (when it needs to be) a major improvement to the originals in my opinion. These pieces seem to just capture the moment better. Another well made remix, thank you.
Overall a pretty damn good remix, better than most, but there is some things i'd like to critique. It doesn't feel as " triumphant" and "powerful" as the original, and doesn't emphasize just how massive the DoG is. I also feel like all the instruments have a very similar volume to one another when they shouldn't, particularly when it comes to the backround vocals when compared to the instruments that have the current melody. I find the voices to be distracting, and overly loud in some parts, but I believe that is just due to the other instruments not being loud enough. Other than those small things, this is a damn good remix, and good on ya for creating something that can nearly stand toe-to-toe with one of the best videogame osts ever concieved
i fucking love this remix too, but they are missing the background notes and the "spiraling" notes going up and down like at 12:14 in the original DoG Nonstop mix, you'll hear it and thats my favorite part. imo it emphasizes how incredibly outmatched you are, basically fighting infinity itself
I feel like other remixes of the Devourer of Gods Nonstop Mix pretty much just copy it, but this actually sounds different, and more ominous. It sounds so much more grand and I love it. 9.5/10, makes my ears moist.
I think the moist part might just be your ears bleeding because of how loud you were listening to it.. Can't really blame you though since this arrangement is pretty fire after all.

I get that a lot on these old tracks - in particular with this track, I regret making the choir so loud in Universal Collapse that it drowns out everything else. Since then, though, I've greatly improved the mastering process (listen to the v4 for comparison.)
I don't know if you take requests, but are you planning on making another nonstop mix soon? I have listened to this one so many times that its begging to lose its power.
The destroyer has arrived! Hope is all lost. Will you fight? This is the end of all gods! The end of all things! Your the last thing standing in the way of life and death.
It sounds great, I'll give it that. However, the original does have a choir singing through I believe a majority of the song, could be wrong. You can especially hear them during the part with the harp near the end, though. They play in the background for most of the song and add more depth. Don't get me wrong, I like this version, but I prefer the original over it. The mix of the chiptune sounds with an orchestral feel and background all coming together in harmony combines two very unlikely genres, and it genuinely reminds me of Terraria. I can picture the song being played on a large stage with an orchestral arrangement with a choir in the back, 2-3 synthesizers and a drummer all playing together in harmony to create the banger that is DoG's theme. I love the use of orchestral instruments like the Cello and Violin playing the electronic parts of the song, though. Smart.
damn, these songs really slap. i do have one complaint about these songs though, and that is that the drums feel a bit underwhelming. i feel that use of a china cymbal throughout parts of "Scourge of the Universe" and "Universal Collapse" could add some extra impact and maybe a bit less closed hi-hats in the epic parts of Scourge (especially in 5:29 - 5:50). overall, they all are amazing but could use a tiiiny bit more epicness
hmm, I wonder if this could be made into a FNF song. cause that could totally work. (wanna do it anybody???) of course they would need permission first, but someone already made a song just as a mess around thing, this could be seriously great if people put passion into making an FNF x Calamity mod. (just saying xd)
i still dont like the ceaseless void part in every remix or the original. its not bad, but it destroys the epic atmosphere, because its creepy, and not epic...
