Thank you Jenn for doing all that you do. You really care about the quilters and crafters who watch and follow you. You are what your peers should be doing. ❤
Thank you. I appreciate your thoughtfully clear explanations of not only WHAT to do but WHY it's done that way. I have learned things that I can apply across a wide range of projects, as well as this one.
Love the longer tutorials as I get to see what I would be getting into (timewise or skillwise) if I were to purchase the kit or template/pattern. This was well done. Thank you!
Thank you Jen, this video is great! I've watched your other videos on this project and have planned to make this table topper using the Up On The Housetop collection for so long. My fabrics arrived today! Perfect timing! I'm excited to get started! 😀💖💖💖
I came across this video in the wee hours of the morning and had to smile when you mentioned that you frequently work in the middle of the night. Thank you for this video. I am not a quilter but I have completed a couple of your kits and most likely will be getting this one as well. You are such an inspiration and I just love and appreciate you. 🥰
Happy that you enjoyed this tutorial and glad that you love our kits! You will have a lot of fun with this project! We appreciate your support and comment! 🥰 - Abby
Great to hear you will show other projects using the leftover fabric. 😁💝 When do you expect to have those ready? Just ballpark. I’m not going to hold you to it. I just want to know when to have my eyes open for those videos. Thanks.
Very very nice job of step by step. Too many channels only show basic quick "sew by the seat of your pants" projects. I have sewn for 60+ years, and still enjoy these types of videos. Knowledge is key to success of every aspect of life, sew, cook, clean, prayers, love. Thanks again. Just to mention, you really only need a dab of those glues, I don't like the big sticks, as it's entirety too heavy and way messier than the glue pen and I, like you, started with wash away glue from Roxanne, & Elmer's school lol
This is a well done, well organized and well executed tutorial for this project. As a former educator you have done an outstanding job in hitting all the objectives to this pattern. I've been with you for a long time, since your productions of the glossy and beautiful Shabby Fabric catalogs. I have kept most of them for inspiration. You and your SF Team stay current with not only quilting technology but with technology its self. Can't wait to purchase and start this project. You are my "Go To" all around company for fabrics and projects. Thank you Jen and SF Team
This is very sweet of you and we appreciate your support for us throughout the years! We are keeping up with the current trends and technology! You are going to have a lot of fun with this project! Thank you for your comment! - Abby
This is so beautiful 😍. I thoroughly enjoy spending this time with you to learn this quilting technique. I am basically a beginner quilter so I had no idea how this was ever accomplished. I now feel I could, in the future, tackle this project, thanks to you!! You are a wonderful teacher so much so that I know I can do this! Thanks again xo
Jen, I've been in love with the 505 glue stick since I got one! I have COPD and am not supposed to be around the aerosol sprays so, this has been a real boon for me! You've done a great job on this video - sew many tips & tricks you've shared. Thank You!
I was thinking this might look really neat using the twin needle to do that topstitching around the prairie points.. It would still be possible to use matching colors , but you would have two lines of sticking on each row of prairie pionts. Tammy did this on the Christmas Placements last year that were self-binding.
Thank you so much for your great teaching abilities, you cover everything so beautifully, if a person wanted to make this bigger is it possible to just keep going without the paper?
Hi shadow51mcke - We're so glad you enjoyed this lovely project! You can continue to expand the project as suits your preferences. Thanks so much for watching! -Michelle
Thank you so much for the informational videos that you make for us. I would not attempt some of these projects without the help of your videos. You are a wonderful teacher!!……Just one thing that I would like to mention: I did not receive the instructions that you were referring to with my kit. It looks like it would be very helpful. Is there any way that i can still get those instructions? Thank you!
Hi Suzanne- We're glad you enjoy this fun design! For order-related questions, please reach out to our Customer Service team by phone (208-664-4567) or email at support@shabbyfabrics.com. -Michelle
I take it back, I found the instructions after I finished my Point of View table topper. My bad, but your video was so good, that I was able to make it without using the instructions.
Hi Carole - Please be sure that you carefully unfold everything in your kit as we do fold some fabrics together for packaging. The mottled green used in this is fabric: www.shabbyfabrics.com/p163959 -Michelle
Hello Jenn, would it be possible to stitch the prairie points as you go, ie, lay all the first round down and then open the points, stitch down an inch, turn it back and glue down the next round. Watching you stitch through all of those I was holding my breath. I'd be a nervous wreck before I'd finished. Lol
Hi Jacquelene - You can choose to stitch each round individually, if you prefer. We choose this way so we're not adding too much bulk. Hope this helps :) -Michelle

I just saw this tutorial and am excited to try it. What is the stitch length you used when sewing the pattern? Pittsburgh, PA
We're glad this project inspires you! We used a 2.5 stitch length on our Bernina for this project. Hope this helps! -Michelle
Wonderful video. What fabric did you use for the green (second to last one)? I only received 4 fabrics in my kit and would like to add another color.
