- The first day on any job can be scary. Plus make and give you the nerves jitters. To make matters worse is you may not get the training you need. Here on Mr.jeff The custodian channel I hope you can find some useful information to help you along your way. I have been a custodian for over 20 years. The purpose of this channel is to share some of my knowledge with you. I remember the feeling when I first became a custodian. I was given a set of keys, a radio and a badge. Didn't get any training whatsoever. Being a custodian is not rocket scientist knowledge. There are definitely things that a custodian needs to know. I call it the art of the trade. Love your channel and the message you send out. I have been a custodian for 17 years I just started at an elementary school in July. I'm constantly looking at how others are doing things you never know what tricks can make the job easier or just done better unless you observe it.

Everyone cleans different. 32 years in the industry. Everytime I change jobs it's always overwhelming getting to know your area. Work hard and you'll do fine as a Custodian.
I have been a custodian going on 6 years, my supervisor when I started at the high school was awesome at teaching me how to be a custodian, how to work machines. Now I’m a lead custodian for two years at a performing art school that’s part of fargo public schools. Someday I want to that the lead at an elementary school. I watch you channel to get wisdom and ideas. So thank you!
I love your videos! This is my 4th year as a custodian and when I started I was looking for guidance because my 2 coworkers were and still eligible for retirement, but have not left. They really didn't show me anything during training as far as cleaning, but the summer work they did show me so much. As I was saying before I rambled on, I found your channel and absolutely loved the tips and tricks. Because of your bathroom cleaning tips I can safely say that many staff and students would agree that Mr. Luke's bathrooms are the cleanest and best smelling. Thanks for everything!

@@mrjeffthecustodian thank you we recently got a new building with LVT in the halls I did make sure to put lots of products from CUI solutions on our supply order list love their products so far that I have tried like the SANI-Bowl line
