With the ramp up in travel and many people returning to Orlando, how is Sheraton Vistana Resort? In this video, I take a walk around the property and cover what amenities are open and what is closed as well as give an overall resort update as we all navigate through this new era in travel. We will discuss if the spas are open, what pools are open along with the hours of operation for all the food and beverage outlets on property.

Great video! We are staying here in October. Have you and can you call before arrival and request a specific location? Seems like falls seems to be most updated?

Actually, the Lakes and Fountains villas are the most recently updated. We did recently stay in a Falls villa and it was nice, but not recently updated. To make a specific request, you can email them a few weeks before arrival. As of when we were last there in May, they hadn't restarted movie night.

I’ll be there next month . Our fav hotel had no more rooms so I booked this one. I hope there’s not much stuff closed in mid June when we go there . And would you know if discovery cove is pretty close to this hotel ??

I suspect the only thing that may still be closed is the spas/hot tubs. Zimmies dining room may still be closed also. The Cascades pool should be reopened by that time. Discovery Cove is probably about a 10 minute drive. You can either take I4 east to Central Florida Parkway or take some of the back roads like Palm Parkway up to Central Florida or go down 535, then left on 536 and left at International Drive. This route is probably a little longer. I4 is probably the most direct. Thanks for watching and enjoy your stay, the resort is actually pretty nice. Ask for Fountains or Lakes section for the most recently refurbished rooms.

What section is the best for 2 bedroom villa ? Right now I’m told we will be in the spa section …. Are these renovated ? Or should I call and try for a different section? Thank you!

All sections have two bedrooms. As far as i know,Spa is not renovated. Most recent renovations are in Fountains and Lakes. Thanks for watching.

Quick question, is there a game room and is it open? Where is the nearest Publix, would you happen to know by chance?

I beleive the arcade/game room over in the Fountains section is still closed.
The nearest Publix is on Vineland Ave. My suggestion though is to go to Winn-Dixie that is to the north on 535. Much less busy than Publix, especially on weekends when everyone is checking in and checking out.

The Publix at Regency Village at 8145 Vineland Ave. I feel like it's a nicer Publix. I agree with Jeremy on going in off-hours. On Monday mornings, there's practically no one there.

@@BronwynMcGuckin We will be arriving there on a Friday morning in a few weeks, wanted to stop by Publix to order a birthday cake for the next day. I prefer their cakes otherwise I would definitely check out the Winn Dixie.

Certain activities may have a fee. Like the mini golf and bike rentals. But pools and other activities are complementary. You will want to visit the Main Activity Center once on property to confirm prices and fees for all the different activities. Thanks for watching!
