I love Gatorland! I've done and seen all that apart from the zip line - figured that was too quick to really enjoy the view of the gators. Since you made this video, though, Chester has died. 😥😞They didn't say on the vlog what the cause of death was, but he ingested a plastic bottle cap that a visitor dropped into his enclosure, and it caused a blockage. We went on the Night Shine tours two nights in a row and those were amazing! I got to go in with one of the white (leucistic) gators, Feroz. I always love hearing the bellows you described - it vibrates the boardwalk! Enjoyed your video; I'm probably not going to get back down to Florida for a while, so thanks for the virtual tour!
They also have a zipline for us disabled people. The ride, which is wheelchair accessible, allows riders to travel 350', going over the park & the lake of alligators. Riders have to meet certain strength, coordination & size requirements to ride though. Also, In areas that are inaccessible to wheelchairs, like the sand pit where you can get close to the gators, they accommodate people who use wheelchairs by bringing the animals to them for an up-close encounter.
Don't let your disability keep you from joining in the fun.
Best life experience ever. My wife on our honeymoon surprised me with a uber ride to gatorland when we where in Orlando. It was life changing and I have such a love and respect for these amazing creatures.

@@ChrissaTravelsGatorland does have Albino Alligators as well as the Leucistic Gators. The Albino Gators are Pearl, Cottontail & Moonshine. I'm pretty sure they've been there longer than a year.

Really regret going to SeaWorld instead of Gatorland.
The park looks huge to walk - is there a ground train for those who cannot walk so much?
Hi DNY! There is a train, but unfortunately, it's more for sightseeing than transportation.
Is the zip line include with the admission?

How long were the shows?
They’re about 15-20 minutes I would say!
I've not eaten a gator...but fried gator sounds interesting
the two parking lots are just way too small. Maybe 200 cars max?
How much time do you recommend to stay there to do must of the activities there? Would you say it's a half day experience? TIA
If you take your time and do all of the experiences you could spend all day there! I know I have! But, you can make it a half day experience, too! It really depends on how quickly you want to move through each exhibit! ☺️

Yes, the monster truck ride is extra.

@@johnnysar8615 We paid for it when we got there, but if you're going over 4th of July and can purchase the package online ahead of time, I would definitely do that to make sure to snag a spot!

Hey there! Gatorland has a very “down home country” southern feel….think swamps and back bayous. That is the whole vibe of Gatorland. It definitely has its own charm to it. There are tons of areas in Florida that still have this southern country feel to it once you leave the major cities.
Are the animals treated well here?
Yes! I suggest taking a look at their TH-cam channel (Gatorland Vlogs) to see some behind the scenes!
Does it smell? Lol. Regardless, I want to go! Excellent video.
lol.. there are parts that can be a bit smelly, but overall, I didn't notice a smell at all!

I can’t see why not! ☺️ It’s not a very big park and there are plenty of shady rest areas where she can take a break. A lot of the walkways are also covered too.
Would love to feed those gators & eat some gator meat.
Only in Gatorland can you feed and eat gators all in one place 😳😂
