I installed the HV2 on my 2022 Honda Accord 2.0T but after install I realized I have to take the entire box out every time I want to change or clean the filter??

Hi did you disconnect the ECU connectors ?
Best video I’ve seen so far . Few minor steps that i did different that to me seems easier and less work when taking out the stock box . But other then that great video. I only have one question mine came with this rubber cap looking piece (not the grommet that goes under ) and I have no idea what it’s for .

@@TTorres1183 big time! Some of the other vids were too sloppy lol....I do have a question. For the MAF Sensor, did you use the factory screws to mount it, or did you get 2 PRL ones to use? The instructions I read online says I'm supposed to use those and not the factory ones, problem is I didn't get any additional screws from PRL for this lol, I reached out to them to send, but was curious which ones you used.

So when it’s time to change/clean the filter, you have to disassemble the entire thing?
and thats why you get a Short Ram Injen intake. Way better audio and same "so called" gains.

All these different warning lights came on in my car after installing this and they won't go away after driving what do I do?
They will go away with drive time

I installed the PRL HVI on my R about a month ago and this morning it threw a “ rev match system problem” and a “emissions system problem” now I literally don’t have any rev match at all although the car runs fine. I’m completely stock aside from the intake and got about 2200 on the car. Do I need to get a hondata jailbreak/tune in order to run the HVI? Just haven’t heard or seen anyone in TH-cam having this issue after just a PRL intake any thoughts?
Unplug the battery for a few minutes and see if it happens again after a few drive cycles.
Chances are the emissions and Rev match has nothing to do with the prl hvi. Those always show when your check engine light comes on. Mine has came on 2 times I took it to Honda it said it was throwing a evap code. They did a evap test and it passed. They cleared the code and said if it happened again they will do a smoke test. One week later check engine light with emissions and Rev match system came on again. Took it back, they did a smoke test. Smoke test passed. Now they're saying it has to be that charcoal canister and purge valve are defective. So this Wednesday they are relacing both under warranty.
@@luisarreguin2202 well looks like I’ll be going to Honda lol just hoping they don’t try to give me crap for having an aftermarket intake or blow it off as if that were to be the issue. I’ll mention to them to check everything you’re getting replaced In order to save time. Thanks for your info and please let me know what happens with your type r.
@@Hypebeast305 nah they will find the source of the problem first. Hook up the computer and see what exactly is going on with it and go from there. Plus they have to prove that the aftermarket part is the cause of the problem before denying warranty
