I really appreciate your review. I love go ruck and what they represent and want to try their shoes. I was hoping to get your opinion on what pair I should go with. I’m not an avid runner, or ruker for that matter. But I do enjoy exercise and typically do some element of cross training, walking/running typically on a track or sidewalk type surface. I was looking at the ballistic trainers or the rough runner and would greatly value your opinion. Also, how are they on sizing? I’ve been wearing Brooks ghosts for the last 10 or 15 years and have consistently fit an 11. I appreciate your thoughts and opinions. Thank you.
The thing to think about is what percentage of your use will be running. The Ballistics are ok for short runs during a workout (less than a mile)...the Rough Runners are good for a workout where it's more running. It's a firm running shoe so stable enough for workouts
Absolutely. 10+ is no problem. But I remind you it's a firm shoe...more firm compared to most so the shoe is durable and consistent over 10+ miles but are your feet ready for that? I recommend these shoes as great rucking shoes and workout shoes where there is a running component. For actual running I like actual running shoes like Hoka or Brooks.
Great review! Come back and do the Gate River Run. My city!
I’ll be in JAX in October!

Awesome man. Thank you.
Ok blue. Look good
Thanks 👍
What is your take on that kind of bump/pad thing inside them around the ankle. It kind of weirded out when I tried them on.
I like those. Both the Mackalls and these fit really well with those ridges and help the fit for me.
What’s the longest run you’ve done in them. Do you think they could go 10+ miles comfortably?

Are those the blue color. How are they in person. I’m on the fence with the Baton Rouge ones or all white w red
Yes! 🔵
i live near jax - can you provide some details on that trail you took?
Along the waterfront trail in downtown
So size wise. I wear 11.5 in Brooks ghost. I’m on the fence w. 11.5 or 11
For me, these are true to size. So I'd get the same size as everything else
@@JBOutside1 Thanks for the in put
They have a sizing tool on their website you can enter to see what size to get in the GoRuck shoes
What kind of suglasses are those JB?
Blenders! 😎
@@JBOutside1 thanks!
