I don't know if you know the song 'Watch me bleed' by Tears for Fears, but I think it would be a good song for a RDR2 tribute... You should have a look at it! Great videos by the way, keep up the good work ;)

RDR3 could be the history of Dutch, how he met hosea, form the Van der lin gang at the golden times of western outlaws.
I think it should be about Landon ricketts in his hey day and his eventual retirement to Mexico and you get to witness the blackwater massacre through his eyes
About36GREEKS He kills at least two different innocent people, leaves John for dead twice, leaves Arthur for dead which leads to Eagle Flies’ death, uses the Wapiti Indians as pawns, causes Hosea and Lenny’s deaths because of his hatred for Bronte leading the Pinkertons to them, and that’s not to mention teaming up with Micah. He is not a hero in any sense of the word. A villain who did good, but still a villain.
Dutch: *I HAVE A PLAN* Arthur: You always have a *plan* Dutch: *HAVE FAITH* Arthur: I have 15k in the money box, we can go to Tahiti now Dutch: *WE NEED TO MAKE NOISE* Arthur: We don't need to make noise, I've donated 15k, that's enough for all of us to go to Tahiti Dutch: *WE NEED MONEY* Arthur: No, I've donated 15k Dutch: *STOP DOUBTING ME* Arthur: What? Dutch: *WE ROB UNCLE SAM AND WE DISAPPEAR* Arthur: *(Slowly walks away)*
I think that as a leader of the gang Dutch symbolized the whole gangs attitude. When he started to lose his grip the whole gang started to lose it and they started to argue with each other and started to doubt each other. I think that Hosea kept Dutch going the right way and when he died the whole gang died. I mean if Dutch symbolized whole gang and its attitude and he lost it after Hosea died and started to make crazy decisions, the whole gang started to make crazy decisions and doubt themselves and Dutch. So all in all Hoseas death was turning point in the story. When he died, old Dutch died and once so happy and connected gang/family started to become cracked under pressure.
One of the best debates in videogame history has come from RDR2. Was dutch always like this insane deep down? Or was it a combination of Hosea dying, concussion and things not going to PLAAAAAAN that made him this way?
im pretty sure its the things not going into plan hosea dying and other shit. People believed in him before and that's why they stayed loyal. Dutch Being Nuts is surprising for most of the gang members
All of this makes me want to play as Dutch. Actually I love Dutch as a character so much I name all my characters in games Dutch. Hell I'll even name my kid Dutch. I really want to play as the man with a plan in a prequel maybe set in mid to late 70' when Hosea met Dutch and then they adopted Arthur as their "Son" and to show us how they went on to become the gang slowly getting kid John along and so forth. Would be fitting actually A story with a beginning a middle and an end!
Perfect GMV dude!! U can see clear the personality of Dutch and the god like figure he like to thing he is, with his plans, and all the people fallowing him dying one by one and in the end his most loved gang member Arthur Morgan... perfect GMV!! R I P Arthur morgan ;’(
Fantastic tribute! If they ever do another Red Dead game it should be about how Dutch first became an outlaw and began to build his gang, ending around the same time RDR 2 began. I think if they did that, then we can decide through the honor system whether Dutch was always a bad person who just got worse or if he was a good person who fell succumbed to insanity and paranoia. Also who else wants to find out more about Dutch’s life before John and Arthur? I don’t think it should be called Redemption though because I don’t think that the theme fits Dutch’s characterisation as shown in RDR 1 & 2. Either that or a sequel to Revolver. Seriously, am I the only one who wants to see Red Harlow return?
I really loved RDR1 on my 360 and RDR2 was just amazing. I love Rockstar Games so much for all these great memories I experienced since GTA SA as a kid.
How about a tribute with Mumford & Sons - I gave you all? It's almost word for word Arthur's last words to Dutch and perfectly captures his anger and dissappointment at such ending.
Seeing his friends die in the end made me cry. ❤️ I mean, I didn’t like molly that much and was kinda proud Susan took over. I may of done the same thing she did. 👏 I mean, I am not mad about the events that occurred, because it’s a story and I love it. It just proves that nothing ever lasts forever. Dutch cracking is what would happen to any other leader, with all that weight, burden, stress, anger, and sadness sitting on top of his shoulders. It would be nice to see and play as him, him being one of my favorites.
At first I was wondering what made Dutch a villain in RDR1, In the beginning I was seeing him as a ok leader. Then when he went fishing with Hosea and Arthur and he literally brought everyone together to save Jack when he was taken. I was starting to admire him becoming a caring leader to his gang and family. However he just started saying nothing but nonsense, especially when he kept saying "The Plan" and "Our problems" , when in reality he just wanted to protect himself with blind loyalty, unnecessary greed, and ruthless and cold blooded killing for angry and selfish reasons. Arthur, Hosea, and John were always loyal to him, even when they were doubting him. Although in the end, Dutch was nothing but a cruel and unstable man. I know Micah had some part in him becoming that kind of man, but what got me the most about Dutch is that he knows he's become unstable, yet even he won't admit it to Arthur, John or even himself.
This is class... But it would also be really good if you used the original Tears for Fears version. Don't get me wrong, I love the Lorde version, but it would be cool to see a Red Dead tribute with the Tears for Fears version.
I love Dutch. I get he left John to die, and let Micah kill Arthur, but Micah got into his head, not to mention he possibly had brain damage from being hit in the head, AND watching most of his friends die in front of him. Sure that’s not really an excuse for what he did, but give him some goddamn faith 😂
Oh Lorde Lorde Lord, Randy Marsh would approve of his song being used here. Edit: if there’s one thing I could say about Dutch is the man has style. I’m one of those guys that wears plain clothes, jeans/shorts/old army pants cut around the knee to make them shorts and white or black shirts but with enough vanity to have them a little tight around my chest and arms so I really don’t care about style(lol my damn uniform has more style than my civies) but I would without a doubt wear what Dutch wears irl and I wish we could at least buy his warm weather jacket in the game since just about all of them look like shit. I’m pretty sure I know what went wrong with Dutch but I wonder just what his “GD plan” actually was, what worked out the way he wanted it to and what didn’t.
I want RDR3 to have you play as Dutch. I want to know if he actually lost his mind or his true colors came out. Right now i'm going with the insane Dutch theory.
Dutch's motivations still confuse me even now. What on Earth was his end game? The money was already there!!! Such a fantastic character for the role he played.
I think at some point, likely after hosea died, that dutch honestly didnt want to stop. He was just lying to himself and the others about "just one more job", he liked the power or the thrill too much

I'd love to play a young Dutch getting his posse going. Dutch has always been the tormented soul that deserves his own backstory.
I guess the Van Der linde gangs golden time was around 1870s - 1880s.
I think it should be about Landon ricketts in his hey day and his eventual retirement to Mexico and you get to witness the blackwater massacre through his eyes

Dutch is the best tragic villain in video game history. You want to feel for him but you can't because of his ruthlessness.

It could revolve around Dutch and Colm's conflict and the murder of Dutch's love making it Redemption. Or hell some other factor. Who knows
