Renegade Shep loves his M-6 Carnifex Hand Cannon playing as jack would take it into WW1 era both red dead redemption games were based at the end of the cowboy Wild West era I feel if they make another it would have to be another prequel going further back into maybe the prime of Dutch or maybe the formation of the gang rdr2 heavily references characters that have died and events prior to the story so I’d have to guess they’re setting up lore for another prequel
That was the first thing came in my mind but it think it would be very repetitive. In RDR 1 John died and you play as Jack. In RDR 2 Arthur died and you play as John. And in the third part it would be too much at least in my opinion. But of course i would love to see the golden times of the Van der Linde Gang.
When people say they don’t like playing as John, it kind of ruins Arthur’s death, because he died to save John. When you play as John, you give Arthur’s death meaning.
Video games just don't do what this game did. The storytelling in RDR2 is unmatched in terms of narrative, characterization, and emotional impact for video games. I used to hold RDR1 in that place but RDR2 even beat that. What an incredible game. "You're my brother." "I know. I know."
Oh why can't i say the same for god of war and last of us. Everyone says they are some of the most emotional narratives in videogames but they just don't surpass Arthur's story for me. I guess i will never know.

ever since morgan fell in saint denis i've been counting down and so has arthur and he knew the right moment. when it was all falling apart he was the light that john, tilly and most importantly himself. he thought on his past self and did right helped every stranger that needed saving, feeding, killing just like dutch used to say. arthur turned into something he thought he could not anymore a good man.

To be honest when I was about half way into the game and had no idea Arthur was gonna die I thought it would have been really cool if the end of the game fast forwards to 1915 with older Jack and Arthur meets up with him cause he discovered John was killed and Abigail recently passed on as well and wanted to pay respects to him, it didn't go that way but I feel that would have been nice considering Jack looked up to Arthur like an Uncle

Believe it or not this game helped me cope with my anxiety I was always scared or death what would happen but this game Tough one thing it’s that you can die at anytime and you should make the best out of it and not worry about the small stuff thank you Arthur rip my cowboy friend

Even though I can start a new game and play as Arthur again....I don't want to and it wouldn't feel right. It really feels like he really is gone. Rockstar did a damn good job on making me feel like that.
