The moment Arthur says it you can see it in Dutchs eyes. He knows, but that conflicting expression he makes is more of anger because his gut was telling him all along. He knew right then that Arthur still saying Micah is a rat even when he's dying, that it's all true. Dutch is angry at himself because he knows he should've listened and now it's too late. So that's why he walks away without saying anything to Micah and not wanting to see Arthur take his last breathe. In the epilogue he teams up with Micah for the sole purpose of killing him. He didn't expect John and Sadie to come. That's why he says "same as you I suppose" when John asks what he's doing there
Mr. Black Micah twisted Dutch’s world, from a empathetic man and leader into a paranoid, greedy man who sees his gang as them leaving him and his ideas. His ego didn’t take Arthur’s warnings about Micah, but at that moment where he sees his son die in front of him made him speechless and conflicted about his plan costing his gang and his family. Arthur gave him all he could. With John and Sadie on the top of the mountain, made him not say anything anymore and finally he made the decision of killing Micah because after seven years of hiding and reflection, he realizes that Micah was the rat all a long.
I think the one who's most haunted by Arthur's passing, is Dutch. You can see it all over his face, the last time he saw him. He could've listened to his most trusted and loyal follower, the man who was supposed to be like a son to him. He could've shot Micah, let John and his family go, and then did everything in his power to make Arthur's last days a little more comfortable. But he didn't, he let him down and knowing that is what I think finally pushed Dutch over the edge. Dutch is very different man in the first. In the first game he's broken man on self destruct, to the point that he took his own life. Now we know why.
Sad how things turned out Micah was a yes man and he would stroke Dutch’s ego telling him things he wanted while Arthur on the other hand would tell Dutch the honest truth on what was going on
@@IcySwagTag That's one of the things I like about Arthur, his honesty. He never lied about who he was, what he did, what he believed in, and what mattered to him. And what he cared about was the people in that camp. And he never lost sight of that, even as he took his last breath. Arthur lived and died for those he cared about. In the end Arthur was the one most loyal to the gang, not Dutch.

For Me It's Arthur And John😭😭😭
I...I... is too late to apologize...
Don't know why Dutch would Do Arthur like that after he told him he's like a Son to him soon as Arthur started to open up his eyes go down the right path he got sicker if he didn't get sick I believe he would killed Micah and Dutch but ik there's going to be a undead nightmare and he's going to get his revenge
“I gave you all I had... I did” that got me
3:07 Arthur knew John had a family to go to, and the whole gang was going to tear apart somehow (the fight with micah with john and at last arthur, and them people showing up shooting) but Dutch never listened to him! :(
Yeah defo, a sad demise. I would add that at the end Dutch did listen to Arthur at the very end but it was all too late. He knew it!! His face told it all, for once, he was speechless 😥
@@PazyPlayz thank you for liking my comment. Would you mind giving a pin to it? please thank you I only noticed it in the sound of arthurs voice and body language lol
@@PazyPlayz also how are you today
This made me cry 😥. So beautiful. Well done 👌
I’ll be here for y’all
I miss this game so fuckin much.. whoever says video games aren't art needs to watch/play this game. No words for this game. Arthur died a hero's death despite the man he was during the most part of the game but that ending was just incredible.
Such an amazing character 🖤 RIP Arthur
damnnnn this game... hhaha very very good.. im still playing it way after the ending....
I really miss you Arthur you were the best character I've ever had to play as you shouldn't have died like that
thank you so much for this. time to replay it a 3rd time
This was a truly beautiful tribute to Arthur ^_^ Made me cry, Arthur is the true hero. Making sure his true family lived on safe and sound. This was made 4 years ago and still amazing
and you strike me again, straight in the heart. you never fail to amaze me with these videos dude, keep 'em coming! can't wait to see what's next :)
This is too sad. And beautiful
Greatest video game character in history of gaming bar none.. amazing. Never been brought to years in a game before. You form a deep connection with him as you play and I've never had that happen to me before..
Rest in Peace.
