Currently working on it. Still have to do all of the legendary challenges, 4 chapters on hard mode and need one more item for Johnny‘s Hotel and it’s the one for beating all of Charley’s challenges
1:43:34 fun fact. despite this being labeled as fire damage IT STILL INSTAS YOU even with elemental fire in the armor slot not only that but many attacks that look elemental, are not. like ALL OF RED DRAGON is non elemental. and yet animathin wise its the most fire looking fire in the game
@@dearthofdoohickeys4703 i learned it in hard mode cause i was like "he has a homing 360 fire breath, lets negate that" and then saw nothing being fire damage. it is so stupid. animation should inform about the attack. especially since chances are you cant read the move hes doing as hes doing it cause you are busy dodging.
Odins zentesuken is interesting. its not a dps check. but if you get hit too much he gets it. tho dodging all the time and never attacking also will trigger it basically, dont let odin get bored
Congratulations on getting the platinum. I had originally planned on making this game my 100th plat, but I'm taking a break from the game for now because hard mode was kicking my ass too much lmao
I like the thumbnail. I don’t know how people think Bonds of friendship and To be a hero is easier than the piano. That piano game feels impossible for me haha.
Yeah you definitely found the hard mode chapters easy by comparison by doing the VR missions first. I saved the VR missions for the absolute last thing, moderately struggled on some hard mode chapters, and lost my mind at the VR missions at the end lol. But great job!
Between metronome sit ups, and precision piano, I tapped out immediately. So much respect for your platinum. Loved the game. Loved that it was hard. But I seriously wish you could get sidequest items to cheat the minigames for the rewards the npc reactions at the cost of the trophy lol Let Tifa drink the wall market ‘sauce,’ whatever illegal drug it was, so you can do 50 sit ups by button mashing lol
The minigames can be surprisingly hard, it does require patience. Understandable that many would call it there, perhaps some advice is to practice a couple of rounds of them per day to see improvement, if it becomes frustrating move onto something else then revisit. I guess it depends how much you want the platinum trophy.
@@findtheshiny you said it best. Practice is the only way for something like this. I'm okay with not getting it, but I'll have fun over the next few years taking cracks at it. The first play through is definitely never the last.
Taking a break since beating it. Every Final Fantasy, including Dissidia NT, game I have platted. But gonna beat a couple of games in my backlog before I start my hard mode platinum playthrough.
My favorite Game! FindTheShiny what was it like facing Sephiroth? He only got more scary and terrifying as the story went on for me. I am ready for the final part 3 and I will beat him!
I watch a lot of playthroughs, and the biggest and most common mistake I see is people not blocking. They just unga-bunga basic attacks and take every enemy skill to the face. Blocking, ESPECIALLY precise blocking, is such an important skill to develop. It’s why Odin is such a challenge for people.
Say it louder for the people in the back! I started observing how my team would make it through some hard attacks without being sent flying by blocking. It sounds simple, but people are inclined to caveman whack all throughout. Blocking preserves more of your HP.
The game never encourages you to block though so a lot of the players sleep on it. Mastering this game's block and parry is basically mastering hard mode completely
@@watchamigos1232 it does though?? It’s literally in the opening tutorial. And the game gives you TWO different to materias to upgrade your block. If people still refuse to block then that’s not the games fault lol.
@@dearthofdoohickeys4703 Everything is in the tutorial though but then again, what you're using most of the time are materia magic spells and weapon abilities or rolling out for a dodge since that works everywhere in the game. Plus, many players still prefer using the time they've spared in a fight to open the menu to cast magic or a weapon ability. If the game chose to teach you how parry and perfect blocks against a boss with skill set like Odin or Bahamut (just examples) where you can literally parry their moves, build atb and destroy them, that's how parry and perfect block would have been encouraged in the game. I've used parry only once I got to hard mode. Tutorial doesn't cut it since every game's tutorial is supposed to show you how the game works. And the first boss of the game, you really don't find a need to parry. That's just my opinion though, totally subjective. Plus, I think it's still way better this way for a player himself to discover just how OP a certain skill or move is, don't wanna be spoonfed. I just love the game
Tbh. There is a LOT I didn’t use on my first play through. Getting platinum forced me to use things that made the gameplay experience MUCH better. Like Synergy skills, synergy abilities, blocking, synergy materia, faith/bravery materia, Aerith’s ATB ward and Radiant ward, Barretts Bonus Round and Lifesaver abilities, ATB boost and Cloud’s Prime mode. If it wasn’t for getting platinum, i would not have known how strong the characters can be utilized. And not to mention you get 2 ribbons which protect you from any detrimental attacks. The ones complaining haven’t realized that.
No f*cking way, dude! I'm working on this one now. It will take me forever, and my Stellar Blade it's arriving, as well so... yeah, I'm screwed. I'll come back here when I got this Plat, but cheers to you.
Personally the best way to do justice to Rebirth is to platinum the game because it's just so incredible, fresh and complete compared to most games that are coming out. Did my plat last week and honestly, Hard Mode shows you all the bosses in a completely new way as if you're going up against them for the first time because hard mode demands strategy
i really enjoy the game and im in the grind for the platinum i only need to beat all brutal and legendary challenges and the hard modes of the few mini games and going to run 14 chapters in hard mode for last but god i just dont want to see that guy jules push up mini game in part 3 it was a pain in ff7 remake and now he back in rebirth lol
Probably the only person glorifying what many players thought to be an unnecessary and excessively grueling platinum run. I didn’t feel accomplished after earning The Planet’s Hope trophy. I just hoped the next game I played wasn’t created by trolling developers.
that true im at 176 hours and still need to do brutal and legendary fights and hard mode mini games i was thinking its going to take more than 200 hours 100% and i play the game in dinamyc so all the prev challenges have more lv
@@moembolsmain8792 I did the challenges before I started my hard mode run. I imagine if you have finished your hard mode run, the challenges will be easier for you as you have more abilities unlocked. Rulers of the outer worlds gives you the gotterdammerung. So try to finish that one!
Have you unlocked Final Fantasy VII Rebirth's Platinum Trophy?
Yes and it really took 200 like the guide on PSNP listed.

And the friggin hefty dogs that do the fire balls. Holy moly.
The thumbnail is amazing🤩

Nice work as always and congrats on getting the platinum!
One day I may play FF7 Remake and Rebirth, they look good.
Thanks, I'd recommend them. Fun and difficult.
Do it. The end game challenges are best part about the games 😊
was waiting for your next video!
Hope you enjoyed it!
I've seen hardcore Souls players cry tears of rage after trying some of those final Simulator missions.... 😁
Cause they are cheap

Zantetsuken is literally a “skill issue” mechanic lol
Crazy that Tifa canonically flashes Cloud
