The online devolved into spamming screen dimming attacks and countering them then Counter their counters and so on To land your Paralysis attack. Some people did use freezing folders but they were rarer to encounter. This was all fixed In SF3 with status blocking abilities and even a few chips That could break those abilities but they were difficult to land meaning you’d have to be more strategic and skilful to lend them. This made paralysis and other status censored folder still viable without being broken.
You forgot to mention that if you're equipped with an antinavi then you use a card and gets TFC with a navichip,you'll only use the antinavi and not the card you selected first

They're only possible in PvP, and only from BN4 onwards, so most people likely never encountered them.
