It’s the same thing that happens on BN 5 with colonel and Proto man, their swords are always facing the camera so when you play as them in the dark megaman scenario or during liberation missions it switches depending on how you move

They simply flip the sprite 180° so they can save space, otherwise, theyd have to make another entire separate spritesheet for each character, which would not only be more work, but also require 2x the space, which for a portable game no less is really not viable. Double point, train arrow 3 and +30 with a full synchro will do (50+60+30) per arrow which is 140 then quadruple it because of full synchro and typing gives 560 per arrow and you can get 5 hits max or 4 min to kill
