Glad you enjoyed Amherst! It really is a beautiful city. Also, if you ever go back, all busses operated by UMass Transit (one of the three-ish? really four) operators that comprise the PVTA, are free! all the time! you can tell they are UMass transit since they will have no letter before the number. Though, that being said, all PVTA transit will be free from 1 November 2024 until 30 June 2025.
bro the guy over the announcements on the Shore Line East sounds like Joe Biden, 30:00. But aside from that, what a cool video! I gotta try taking PVTA sometime, I have a some family friends out in Northampton so maybe I'll try then.
I’m thankful that trains (not subway) still exist to this day: they’re such beautiful & comfortable yet efficient transportation method. Just hop on and don’t worry about the traffic, aggressive drivers, etc!!! It’s so sad that cars (and the ugly & polluting infrastructure built around them, highways, broken neighborhoods, etc) almost killed all public transportation entirely 🥲
Awesome video would love to see more vids like this.
I'd never thought I'd see the PVTA in someone else's video but here we are

I call that my home! Center of Massachusetts north of Worcester
Hartford Union Station looks like Wilmington Delaware Station
Ik this video is so old but I've driven the PVTA bus 3301 in the thumbnail. I love the hybrids ❤

I Wish Dey Connect CTRail MBTA & PVTA Together
There have been talks for many years about extending the MBTA Commuter Rail to Pittsfield via Springfield
@@redsox1935 they should do less talking and more action
