I picked up a 2025 Lyriq just before Christmas and it’s great!! The ride quality, the interior, battery capacity are all just right. I opted for the sport trim which doesn’t have super cruise and some other bells, but I don’t need that stuff, like cooled seats. What man wants a cold scrotum??😂😂
The feature that’s missing is the one that’s in Kia’s and Hondas which is the camera that shows a display of the lanes when you trying to change lanes or making a turn! That feature spoiled me because it makes changing lanes easier seeing oncoming traffic without having to look in your drivers/ passengers side mirror..i feel at this cars price it should come standard

panoramic roof is standard, not $1600. Optional sunroof is $1600, but adds a "black bar" separating the panoramic roof.

I'm baffled by the windshield LEDs. Cadillac's HUD in their sedans is very good so why not carry it over?

In a short period of time, GM has far surpassed other EV manufacturers. I’m waiting on the Cadillac Optiq.
That's because they work with the Hyundai motor group to develop their EV technology
@@Roadbunny777😂 GM shared Their ev tech with the Koreans in an agreement to have them BUILD the bolt many years ago. You have it mixed up. GM shares their ev tech in exchange for Korean electronics manufacturing prowess. GM designs the tech their Korean branch builds it. I think Hyundai gets dibs on whatever GM Korea develops, just because that’s how foreign car companies work. It’s a national affair. Recently they just made the whole arrangement official.
I noticed that the horrible new age music that pipes in as soon as you fire up the car is missing in yours. Any advice on how to turn it off in ours?
U mean the spaceship sounds at low speeds? Cant turn it off it's required by law. They should have filter it out in the cabin more.

Can you set 1-pedal driving to be a default every time the car is started, similar to Tesla? I have an Ioniq 5 and have to engage it every time the car leaves Drive.
Yes, once you set it, it will be on every time. I have had mine about a year.

@@waxy1962 I recently had an issue with the charger door not opening at all. I wish they made a way to open it from inside the car but I had to take it in to be fixed. Also don’t get in a fender bender. It took almost 10 months to get all of the parts in and they wouldn’t do a buyout.
Other than that I really like so many things about the Lyriq. I just would have waited til all the kinks were resolved and they had a solid inventory of replacement parts.

Very comfy ride and drive but very unreliable had a 2024 for about 6 months of which it was in the shop at least a quarter of the time. On the other hand, my 2024 BMW IX 50 has been bullet proof exceeding efficiency(guess you get what you pay for). Base sound system is useless for a luxury car. Will never buy a Cadillac again.
I don't like what they are doing with the door handles--but just personal preference.

And the Apple Car Play is where? Oh that's right Caddy decided to drop it. And will the dealer give you a free loaner when the glitchy software requires a part that takes 2 weeks to obtain and the car is undriveable till then? And what about the OTA updates? My dealer said, "Why would we do over the air updates when our car is already perfect?" Not for me thank you very much.
don't know what you're talking about. I'm test driving 2025 and Apple Car Play is fine and was told it does OTA updates.
Got my 2024 Lyric in July. It's a dream. Apple Play is right on the screen.
One article I read said that Apple Car Play is "dropped" for 2025. It IS present on 2024 Lyriq... I'm driving one now.

Toyota and Lexus have horrible EV’s. Terrible range and ugly exterior. The sound in the lyriq is excellent. I can tell you have not driven in either the Cadi or the Lexus ev.
I agree. The sound system leaves you wanting more. I disagree with this reviewer on the boring color comment.
The stellar Black screams sophistication. It kills all other colors of this vehicle. Add Blacked out chrome delete, it cannot be matched. Imo 😁

The upgraded AKG speakers in the level 2 and 3 trims is good, but terrible at normal EQ balance. I've found that adjusting the treble up to 8, and the bass to 7, mid to 2, FRONT setup, with surround at 100% and the system comes to life. Still not crazy bassy, but very good audio. just not with factory settings
@RajVeer-tz2it I am in the process of updating the sound system in my vehicle. I have the design awaiting materials ordered, and then the process begins. Stay tuned, updates to follow.
That fuel door sounds so cheaply made…I don’t trust that this vehicle would be reliable after 3 years 🤔
So what are the 14 things? Absolutely no structure in this video...
Range is pretty disappointing, Mach-E Extended range gets 620km WLTP and is tens of thousands cheaper. Rear is butt-ugly, tail-lights way too high up. No head-up display and no extendable under-thigh support are unforgivable in this price range (€80k base in Europe).
What about charging stations for road trips
Don't forget to bring extra batteries on road trips.
I bought a NACCS adapter so I can charge at Tesla stations. I wouldn't drive distances without it. EV stations haven't caught up.
The window is tinted…those window shades are unattractive.
