At 05:20 about the display, I am not sure how many of us here have that same display issue, but I found a way to solve it. In the AMD Radeon Setting, go to Display setting. There, turn off "Vari-Bright" which is automatically on by default and then turn on "Virtual Super Resolution" which is off by default. Also in the MyAsus setting, go to Hardware Settings. Then in the Splendid section, you can adjust the Screen Gamma and Color Temperature as it fits you most. I just choose "Eye Care - Level 02". Then all my problems are solved. Hope it can help you all as well if you all have that same problem with default display.

You seem a genuine guy but I have to disagree with you about the panel. This panel is excellent with great and accurate colour reproduction. I have tested the new XPS 13, HP Enny, HP Spectre, Acer Swift 5, Lenovo c740 and c940 and the Asus is one of the best. So, I do feel you're being unfair and misrepresenting the laptop. As for light bleed, it exists on most laptops and you only notice it when you switch your computer on.

Before that I was just used to it uninstalling the wifi ability, the microphone not working in online class, not being able to connect with apps and constantly lagging, and the very irritating loud as hell fan... So safe to say NOW that no matter how cheap I am it’s time to buy a new one as I’ve had this laptop for over 3 years.

Backlight bleed is just a fact of life with ips panels, it's something that happens in the manufactoring proces, and how bad it is on any given ips panel, is a roll of the dice. You might get a really bad panel, or you might get one with hardly any bleed through at all, you never know. So it's not a bad or cheap panel, its just the way ips is, atleast until they come up with a better way of making ips panels. You pay a price for those sweet viewing angles of ips, but not one most of us can't live with. If it's really bad, return it and get another, you might get lucky next time.

Yes, I also wanted to consider the Asus Vivobook s14 ryzen 5 4500 U which is priced much cheaper but noticed few things - 1) out of stock everywhere, and where it is even available it is selling 10-15k more than its MRP 2) the RAM speed on this device is @2666 MHZ which might be slow in relatively multitasking many things. In ZenBook It is @3733 MHZ.

Are we saying here that - You pay 40K Extra for 8G of Extra RAM and NumPAD based Touchpad and the Branding .....Lol ! Come On . .. Figuring out which is which is half the problem. I've found a few websites that have this product and either don't list which panel or do something like newegg and show conflicting info (newegg states the panel is 250 nits but shows the 400 nits marketing material). Such a bummer because the low brightness is basically the only thing holding me back from this laptop right now. Its a ridiculous all around package yet is also undercutting every other competitor with the same general config by a couple hundred or more! Great video btw man, you just got a new sub in me! That's a detailed review good job! I bought this same laptop about 3 months ago and I would like to disagree regarding the logo design because that's one of the main reason I bought this laptop I really like the simplistic circular zen design as we can see from the name zen itself come from this circular design. That's why Asus keep this design for future ZenBook.
@@kazirahiv2157 So far I got no problem or whatsoever using it. maybe the only downside I got is the backlight bleed just like the reviewer said but each laptop may vary, if you're lucky there will be none of it. Other than that you can never go wrong with the performance of Ryzen laptop this year.

I own 4500u version of this laptop since a month now. A problem which i am facing is when closing the lid, laptop does go on sleep but when wake it up in morning the battery becomes dead and i found it shut down. Updated bios and also checked power settings, but problem is there...any solution?

The amd laptop is the better option. Better for gaming, better performance (8 core ryzen 7 vs 4 core i7), better battery and it even costs less

You can use the adapter from c to 3.5mm which included on your package to use wired headphones

Everything is upto date. My asus app isn't showing any driver update. Windows is updated too.
My Friend had the same issue and resolved the issue by fresh installation with , windows 10 build 2004. The model comes with build 1909.
