- ASUS has launched the new ROG Flow X13 2-in-1 laptop that is pretty interesting. It has a Ryzen 5 CPU, a convertible design with a touchscreen, and a 1650 Max-Q GPU for casual gaming. In this video, we take a look at all the features of the ASUS ROG Flow X13.

U guys miss most phenomenal feature of this laptop is that it can be connected to a portable Custom Graphic Card(made by ROG) using custom I/O port that it offers. You didn't even said once and that's thr only which makes it great compare to other ultrabook.
We did not go into detail about the ROG XG Mobile Port (1:48) because ASUS is not launching the ROG XG Mobile eGPU in India right now.

Without that its just a work laptop u cant play games on 1650 maxq its just shitty gpu that just got much more shittier.
@@rohankumbhare7548yeah, for 4k display GTX 1650 no way. U can't play games beyond 1080p resolution which will look very poor in 4k. The 1080p model is a fine combination with GTX 1650, but not 4k panel model. If someone really want an ultrabook and also wants to play games decently ,just go with the 1080p + GTX 1650 combination. No point on buying 4k.
Please make a video on upcoming laptops from all ranges, specifically 50k-60k

Since it's primarily a work/light play notebook, he covered that aspect pretty well. And this review was intended for the general audience.

Bought a 2 month old used one for only $1,000 really happy with it. It's very hard to find a gaming laptop at this size.
You can easily find one at this size. There are laptops like asus vivobook pro 14x oled, acer swift x, asus Rog zephyrus g14 are some examples. But this laptop is a convertible and has compatibility with xg mobile.
@@RandomUser-tj3mg Not really. As you've mention only asus makes somewhat affordable gaming laptop at this size. razer and alienware are too much for their price. you've mentioned vivobook and acer swift which are not gaming laptop but yes technically you can play on them.
The only problem with Windows laptops are extended software support.
The Macbook Air M1 sets the benchmark for an excellent ultrabooks.
M1 also has excellent integrated graphics
M1 scores like half of the score in opencl compared to this laptop…
i would say the biggest problem comparing to a mac air its the flow battery

Why you didn't mentioned about the external graphic card which is specially designed by asus for this rog laptop..?

Well this doesn't justify the rog branding with a GTX 1650
Hp envy x360 is also a good allrounder it can also hoard heavy tasks and the price is also low but the 4k panel stands out in this. Its a good competitor.

There is no need to buy 4k on 13 inch laptop . ( Old Nvidia graphics card at this price not good it should have 3000 series Nvidia graphics card.)

Most Indians probably can't afford the better graphics card. Much lower wages in India and tech is cheap in usa
Didn't even talk about the ROG XG port and the adapter. People who are aware of it may import it if required. IK its not available in INDIA, but this review seems to be too much like a mobile review with a major point missed.

Not a good laptop review. Include more specific details including benchmarks, record and display fan noise and thermal graphs and cover every feature aspect. While it's a review that the average consumer would take up its not something an enthusiast who would use this for years would be able to make purchase decisions on.
What's the difference between X13 and Z13 and also, you haven't covered the stylus, is it good for note-taking with stylus like MS Surface and Samsung devices? I'm asking this because I'm a student and I use my stylus a lot for various notes I take on my Galaxy Tab S7. But I don't wanna carry 2 devices when I'm going out i.e. a laptop and a tablet. So I've researched some 2 in 1s but I haven't found one that suits all my needs and preferences for example: portability, power, battery, storage, os, stylus etc. My Tab S7 is great for writing my notes with stylus but carrying a tablet and a laptop is burdensome. The ROG X13 looks promising and wanna know if it's stylus is optimised for handwriting notes like MS Surface or Samsung Galaxy devices. I've checked out some 2 in 1s like Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360, Microsoft Surface Pro 9, HP Spectre etc. but none are all rounders. Most of them lack power or have exhorbitant price tags. Some have very low battery backups since they are meant to be portable. But the X13 seems to be a capable all rounder. The only thing I wanna about this device is the performance of its stylus on its glass surface while using apps like MS OneNote, Word, S Notes etc. Is it optimised for note-taking?

I need a new 2in1 and I keep going back and forth between the Flow x13 and the Spectre x360. I don't really game only thing other than retro games on my laptop so I don't need the power house but the 120hz is nice.
