I think it would be interesting to see what Alpha Theta would do with Serato but I think it's "safer" if Pioneer ended up acquiring it. Hopefully Pioneer won't mess it up.
@@DjNinesworld I honestly think so too. I had some hopes and expectations from Pioneer AKA Alpha-Theta in regards to this acquisition of Serato. Though, it would be interesting to see what In-Music would do with this power. I always loved Rane and Denon products even though I'm a beginner so I believe this will give them The edge to do something really interesting
Im glad inmusic is putting a fight. If inmusic makes a dj software. I'm sure they will make a good software. So far they have improved their FX, soundswitch. Then standalone controller with samples and later on stems. I can just imagine the crazy ideas for a new dj software.
Hence why i always say to new DJ's or the older ones to be hardware and software agnostic. Coz these none of these companies are our friends, they are for profit organisations. So as consumers and DJ's in this case, we have to be ready to switch software or hardware when shit hits the ceiling so that we don't lose out on our profits because of these mafias.
This is crazy news and I’m excited to see how this plays out. What do you guys think is gonna happen? Do you want alpha theta to own Serato?

I agree with you but i also think if Inmusic buys serato it would level the playing field and competition.

It was inevitable, no way they were going to hand over the competition without a fight.
