I am a secret lurker by not commenting, but I have to comment. I love love your attitude. I have been in my happy phase for over 20 yrs, ïts the best. I am a black British/America girl. I have traveled the world most times alone, because my friends don't like to travel. I don't worry about my size I am 5.5 180lb, and I am not on a diet. I eat what I want, but as long as my blood pressure/ sugar and lab work is good. It's full steam ahead. I am also a hospice nurse, so I understand to live life without worrying about what anyone outside of my job think.
I did not or would not wait until I am a size 2 to dress how I want, go where I want or do want I want, The time you spend sometimes yrs waiting until you are a certain size, to do the things you want. You can never get these time back. All I care about is to stay as healthy and well as I can. At 61 if I die today I know I have lived a full life, and still going. Thanks for your lovely message.
This was absolutely beautiful- thank you for sharing with us! I wish that I had this attitude when I was younger, but boy am I embracing it now!
I have known two hospice nurses in my life, they helped someone that I love dearly and brought so much comfort to our family - you truly make a difference in the world- thank you!

The pink pants are quite flattering. My least favorite is the high low skirt. I like everything.

I absolutely love this! Thank you for all the reviews you do. I never would have tried or thought to try Halara. I didn't really expect them to be plus size friendly. I absolutely love the the black overalls, the blue flowy jumpsuit and the waffle pants on you. I'd love to see a video featuring the items that you didn't feature in this video, as well.
Nothing in my closet fits as I'm working on reducing my size for health reasons. My husband gave me a budget and told me to get some pieces that would work for me now and over the next few months. They currently have a sale on the website with mix and match possibilities at different price points. I ended up ordering 3 tops, one pair of pants, one long skirt, one jumpsuit and 2 active skirts. All for under $225. Can't beat that!!!
Hi Meredith, I just wanted to thank you. I placed a Halara order for sensible classic looking work pants using your code and when the items came I loved 80 percent of them, returned the rest for a slight size issue. I opted for a gift card instead of a refund, which will work great now that I have figured out my best style. I have really really wanted to order a pair of white pants for summer but didn’t, because I thought they might make me look bigger. I came back to this video to get an item name, watched the video again, and this time the words you said about loving yourself as you are while working on yourself finally sunk in. I have seen you wear white and you look lovely. I’m getting my white pants, and feel excited and happy about it, I think I will look darling. Thanks so much for your positivity, sensibleness, and your style. Sometimes we just need a friend to remind us we deserve nice things.
As I’m in my “Mimi getting healthy” era, I am so appreciative of all you do. I have lost 60 pounds so far since April, and you have helped me find “next size down” clothing that doesn’t break the bank as I continue on this journey. I too am in Houston, so I know how important cool and comfortable is in our long summer heat. Thank you for all you do!

Regarding the wide-leg vs skinny-leg vs anything-in-between pants debate, I honestly think you look quite good in any of them, as long as they fit properly. I'd love to see you play with silhouettes and experiment with different cuts and styles, especially as you've come quite a ways in how you see your body. (I selfishly want you to enter your shorts era so I can see how some wildly different styles sit at different points, but that's a separate matter. pants of many styles are fun!)

OMG those pants and that shirt are adorable and look so comfortable. I autistic and am completely over making myself uncomfortable. Jeans, stiff non stretch or non drapes fabrics, and button fly pants are the bane of my existence. I’m just concerned about length since I’m a shorty at 5’4’’
Unrelated…I think you should do a JessaKae haul. Her dresses are so romantic and pretty and seem to really fit your style. Silke dresses might be another option

You wear that light gray jumpsuit to the office and FedEx man will come to the office everyday of the week! And that is my favorite outfit and that belt totally finished it off. Hahaha- you crack me up on the FedEx man!! You know, I think their activewear is pretty good for low impact exercise, but struggled with it rolling at Pure Barre. That said, I was so impressed with this stuff all around!! I think they need to branch out into more super-comfy workwear!

I watched @HangWithHopescope try on the full range of Halara dresses and while Hope and Anna looked great in all of them, the mostly short and body skimming dresses were intimidating to me. First time commenting, but I love all of your videos! We don't always share the same taste (to each her own) but we DO share a body type (I'm 6' tall and size 20/22). Seeing how things fit on you is super helpful, especially with length. I have to say this was my favorite haul you've ever done - I thought everything looked so good on you. I went on the Halara site as soon as I finished the video and bought several of the pieces you modeled. Keep doing a great job, Meredith. Love you and your positive attitude.

We are very similar in size! I always feel like it is refreshing when I see a model that reflects my body type on a website because I don’t have to imagine what things will look like on me - that is one of the biggest reasons that I have continued doing this (and, I really like trying on clothes!).
Not having the same taste is natural- if we all liked the same stuff, the fashion industry wouldn’t be as vast and amazing as it is!

I love it all!! The silver jumpsuit was fabulous and the green slacks were great. I loved the pink slacks, too, because of the color. Also the black jumpsuit was amazing. I'll stop now, but it was a great haul!! Keep smiling that sunshine smile, Meredith. Love ya!

I liked the first pink pants and black blouse. Thought it looked chic and made you look thin. I looked at Halara but not for me. Thanks for sharing different shops.
The pink pants are a winner, they looked great. I wouldn't have thought to look to Halara for clothes like this, but I'm always looking for good looking clothes that are wicking for travel. I have to do a lot of "sink laundry" when I'm traveling, so quick drying is always great--good looking, even better.

Well, I will take ‘that looks better on you than the model’ any day!! I really considered sizing down initially, but being right between the sizes, and them carrying activewear, I was concerned that the smaller size would do some serious clinging. Not the case with this one!

OMG I literally got the same pair of pants and colour as that pink is beautful I was so surprised how nice they fit being a bigger girl myself I got an XL and they are so comfy will be buying more as also fav type of pant the nice wide leg

So far we are at bib overalls and I have not seen anything that I don’t like. I think the bibs would really look cute with black and white stripes. Fun to know you can pick choose what you like by what looks best and not by 😊 you can fit into. You’re looking great! 😊
1. I LOVE those pants and blouse! I totally think you could wear that to the office. Cute with a tucked in top or a tunic. Top it with a blazer or cardigan when it’s chilly. You could wear that style in multiple color combos. Looks SO good on ya! 🩷🖤
2. Linen look green pants. They look summery in that color. I think it would look super summery with a cute romantic, femme top! 💚🤍💚
3. That is the most elegant SKORT I have ever seen! You SHOULD wear it to the office! Love your hack with the top! 🩵🩵🩵

5. Ohhhhhhhhh…Frost Clear Haze Is GORGEOUS. I would dress that up with accessories and wear that to a nice dinner out with hubby. The front looks amazing with the 3x size but I see the excess in the back so 2x is probably how you should go. That is the one to keep for sure but everything looked adorable on you. 🩵

I appreciate this haul because I have been wondering about Halara. Loved this haul and your comments about the plus-sized beautiful body! I really want a jumpsuit, and this one looked great on you! I loved the dress, though have never had great luck with crossovers...loved how it looked though. Loved all the things you showed!!! Well, I will order from them now!

Susan, they do carry petite sizing, but it looks like it is about 2” shorter (26.5” inseam, I believe)

I am so happy that Halara is branching out, these were really comfortable and stylish, but I never would have thought to look at them for jumpsuits or dress pants!
I have worn several pairs of their workout leggings- after a good amount of time, I really think that they are great for walking or low impact activity. When I wear them to Pure Barre, they will roll down. That said, the ones that perform the best at pure Barre (Athleta, Lululemon, and this Amazon knock off pair) are really tight and not comfortable walking- so they all have their place!
Love the black overalls. Please size down in the icy blue. You will be happier.

I especially liked the Rayon blend slacks. (Hope they come in lots of pretty colors) I'm a hot bodied woman and need the breathability of natural fiber clothing.

I am keeping everything for now! Halara let me choose the clothes that I wanted for a video. I may end up culling the skirt at some point, but it depends on how I feel about it on a walk!

My only comment is that you need to up your game with shoes. The right shoe makes the outfit. So many things just don’t vibe due to the shoes you wear. However, I still enjoy you so very much.😊Keep up the great job you do.
I struggle so much with shoes. I wear a 12 and it cuts out a lot of options. I’ll work on upping my game!

Hey, sweet Meredith! What a haul! Maybe your best ever!!! All were great quality and the fit was great, too. You looked comfortable in every piece, important for keeping that 100 watt smile glowing!
Here are my thoughts:
Pants - LOVED the green pants, LIKED the pink pants. The cut and the drape of the fabric on the green is spectacular on you! And the fact that they're cooler? Humongous bonus! The pink pants feel like ones you'd settle for if you hadn't found the green.
Black top - LOVED! As you said, versatile. It's a non-basic basic! 😂 Has some interest and the fit was good on you. Definitely a year-rounder piece - it would look great under a jacket or open cardigan in cooler weather.
Jumpsuits - LOVED them both!
*Black overall style - I have to admit, I really didn't like the last one you tried on. At all. So I was leery. Oh my gosh! Night and day from the last one you tried! THIS was adorable on you! It fit you perfectly - not too tight and not too loose and it hangs so nicely! I'm glad you bought the black as I think that makes it more office-friendly. My feeling is the blue would have looked far more casual. I'm also glad you decided to try this style again - it just had to be the right one. I will admit that somehow I liked the look of it just a smidge more before you changed the button. I have no idea why. I'm trying to say that if I hadn't seen it on the 2nd button, I'd have been just as wildly excited for you as it looks just great. I know you really wanted this style and now you have it!!! AND you look fabulous in it!
*Dressier, light haze blue jumpsuit - Just beautiful! You looked like a model and/or celeb in this! There just aren't enough words! Definitely giving blonde bombshell vibes, but CLASSY blonde bombshell! And the thinner belt was beautiful! That's such a good width! Maybe you could do a short, narrow, double-ended or contour dart through the waistband on either side in the back to nip it in? You could even make the bottom part of the dart shorter than the top part above the waistband since it looked like you really only needed to reduce some fullness through, and just above, the waist.
Skirt - I LOVED, LOVED this on you. Play the video back and look at your legs - this skirt makes them look dynamite! Heck, I'd catcall those legs in that skirt! 😂 And you looked like you were having fun just because you were wearing it! It was one of my favorites of all the pieces! And, if I'm honest, I was skeptical when you first showed it. I think you're going to end up wearing that way more than you think!
I just wanted to say I love the change in your hairstyle, too. The center part is flattering and the length is sweet and perky and sophisticated all at the same time. You're rocking it, my friend!
PS You're not in mortgage banking, by chance? I worked in mortgages for years and loved it. You remind me of the women I enjoyed working with, many of whom I've been friends with for years. ❤

I need to reshare it, but I’ll give you the ‘in a nutshell’ version!!
I was wearing one of those wrap tops from Bloomchic that started crossing over at the bust, where it had a snap, and then was open to the waist.
One day, one side of the snap decided to come unsewn and join the other, making my shirt gape exposing my entire bra and upper belly. I didn’t realize this until my FedEx man asked to use the restroom after talking to me for a few minutes!!!
So, I’m exposed, and he is in the restroom! I put a paper clip on my shirt, he came out, and we have both done a delightful job at pretending it never happened for over a year now!! 🤣🤣🤣
I'm so excited that you did a Halara review! And I disagree with whoever said you should avoid the wide leg pants (as a girl who comes from a long line of women with disproportionately heavy hips, thighs and booties), the wide leg is incredibly sophisticated and slimming. Everything looked so cute on you, not a negative in the bunch!! 🤩🤩🤩
Thank you, Amy!! I am a huge proponent of wearing what we like- I keep trying slimmer profile pants, and just have not liked them on. One day- but until then, wide legs are here to stay!
