You two are a great team. Keep up the good work and especially keep the fun and laughter plus enjoying what you do. You two are both an inspiration. Thank you for sharing your journey. The final product looks amazing especailly the colours you selected. Looks great guys. Nice work. 👌🤟💯💢
Wow, one of the most amazing small camper I’ve ever seen. Would be great if you could share the link to the stuff you used like the water tank, electric compartments etc.
Super impressed at the entire van build but even more impressed with your project management and organizational skills. Building and presenting this project in such a coherent and economical manner is no easy feat. Your videos stand out far above other TH-cam projects that meander and stall. Very well done. Congratulations. One tip: Try to look at the lens of the camera when you speak instead of the monitor. Otherwise, it looks like you're speaking to someone off camera and not engaging the audience. If you need a reminder, attach a reminder to the camera like a note (which says 'audience here"), a drawing (maybe a happy face), or a little plush toy or something in line with the lens. Talk to that and it will look more professional.
Thanks so much for the feedback! We film on an iPhone so we're definitely trying to break the habit of looking at the screen rather than the camera haha! We're so glad you've enjoyed following the build 👌
Looks good, but your propane stove is going to get mighty hot, and I'm not sure the plywood is going to stand up to it. it's going to char overtime and may catch on fire
Just found your channel. Great build. 👍 will you be putting those breather thing-a-ma-jabs, for under the bed mattress to prevent condisation and mold? Really like your layout and design. Very different from what we see here in the States. Again very well done 👏 🤙💪👍
Hmm... I think the design would work out well enough, though the sink and fridge being so far from the actual cooking area is a bit inconvenient. Also the single burner stove will make it hard to cook anything other than single pot meals, though I guess a small rice cooker of some sort would help with getting real meals done if you've got enough solar for it (also good for if you don't want to go out to cook). The lack of ventilation holes for the mattress is a bit concerning though, because a mattress needs to "breathe" to prevent mold forming since a van is likely to build up condensation. Still, it's a pretty decent design. 👍
@@masonandsarah True. Or whoever uses it could get a Japanese style rice cooker/steamer with a double layer basket that could cook a full meal for two people with no risk of fire in about half an hour. I believe those come in 12v versions specifically for use in cars. Very convenient if you want to cook inside the van safely on a rainy day. Might need an independent battery with a folding solar panel to run it (because I'm not sure your current solar system would be enough power for the cooker plus fridge) but it would be a good backup system to have anyway. But maybe that's me being paranoid, lol. 😅
Do you guys happen to know what year this 4X4 H200 Toyota HiAce is? I come from the United States, in Upstate New York, where the HiAce has never been sold out there.
They were produced from 2005 until 2017 essentially the same with a few tweak updates. The 4WD models come with 2.5 diesel until 2007 when it was updated to the 3.0 diesel and also a 2.7L petrol motor. The petrol/gas is the same motor as the Tacoma and Sienna and a few other Toyotas in North America. If I was importing to USA I would not touch the diesel.
Beautiful build guys. How did you stop the Makita, Dewalt and Milwaukee tools fighting with each other 😂

It's not even plywood, that's a melteca face. Definitely not heat resistant.
A terrific job well done!!!!! A difficult job to attempt for ones so young. Relationship building
Haha relationship building for sure! Definitely tests us 😉 Thank you very much!
Wow,so beautiful & well done guys,congrats👏👏👏
Thank you very much 🙂
Been waiting for this next episode 😊😊 Keep it up guys! 👍👍
Yay! Keen to share the van tour with you!
Theres no way you sound deadened everything but the wheel archs😂thats where most noise comes from
Magnificent build. Enjoy the trips ❤
Thank you so much!
Great job guys
Beautiful done nice work
Why no grey water tank? It’s a grubby move to just let it run onto the ground.
Hey Mason & Sarah, I'm thinking of getting a similar import as yours, being constant 4x4 do you find it thirsty?

Hello from Aus!! Yep, we plan to put some holes in the bed base for the mattress to breathe.
Funny the marketing name Tasmanian Oak. It's eucalyptus.
So good! Where did you guys get the water tank from?
Polymate is the brand :)

Thanks! Another single burner stove could sit on the bench top next to the current single burner stove too if required 🤗

We actually got the tank off ebay, but the company that makes the tank is called polymate :)

Ours is 2011!
@@masonandsarah I noticed on your Instagram page that the van is for sale. You guys would normally travel in a 1999 Toyota Land Cruiser Troop Carrier.
@@DVaccarelli1988 Yep thats correct :)

Except import into USA is restricted until 25 years old. Canada has a 15 year rule so you may start seeing these more and more.
Springvale Ikea ?
What year is your Hiace? What trim?
2011
@@masonandsarah lucky you. I can't get any import with at least 15 years in my country
But its not the same sink ! And the layout looks different 🤔🤔
