@@CharlieChang lol yeah and so random I saw him in your thumbnail. Also, I love your content. I’m also a UCLA alum. It’s inspiring to see other Bruins thrive 🥹🫶🏽
I attended UCI 25 years ago and the difference in maturity of the students now is quite impressive. We never hustled like this back then but I am happy to see a whole generation of budding business minded kids. I moved back to Irvine a few years ago to open up a couple businesses and I must say, the diversity of cultures and attitudes here is tremendous.
It’s due to the internet which has allowed everyone to learn everything about business so quickly. But since it’s easier to obtain the knowledge, it’s also harder to see results since their is so much competition.
Yanxi is awesome, working when you don’t have to is really difficult, yet he still has that drive and passion. Also very humble and well spoken. What a guy!
I tried like heck many many years ago to evolve, and did a tad bit (you have to deal with your cards dealt), but, still, the kids today are 15 years advanced at the same age.....all the retirees around me keep hammering young generation, they have no idea how evolved some of the kids are now. I have seen this maturity in family members kids too....impressive.
Kasra coming at us with the heat 🔥 I'd love to hear more about his entrepreneurship journey as I feel like there may be a lot of people in college who want to follow a similar path but don't because of societal norms. I wish I started my TH-cam channel even earlier than I did, but you know what they say, yesterday was the best time to start your business, but today is the second best time. Great video Charlie!

I respect Jamal admitting he uses bots to get his shoes but at the same time he's the main reason why people (who are not resellers) can't buy the shoes for retail and end up paying $150+ just to get the shoes from a reseller.
Kasra is the bomb man. I like this guy. In similar boat, I'm pursuing my own business, but I mostly work as an animator on animated shows. (I work on anime-like shows). I don't go to UCI, I just live near it although had visit it somewhat often since my friend went there. I pursuing my own entrepreneurship as well, not really have a lot of money through it, but definitely opened a lot of doors where I can, just haven't taken the jump yet since I'm focusing on health. Currently 24.
what Kasra said about if you plan to going to college, but don't really want to but pressured to go but again have that entrepreneurial spirit is a green flag lifted my spirit up lol
Im getting vibes from Ben that he his biggest passion may not be being a teacher, but more of creating apps. I kind saw the spark in his eyes when he started talking about it

I think that guy actually does use his schooling, maybe not degree, to his advantage. But I would say if you're running a business, it makes good sense to know how people operate in groups which is sociology.

To the braider, im a professional braider and if it aint you its someone else who will get that bigger pay. Just because its “college friendly” doesnt mean you have to make pennies for hours of work. Cause thats tooooooo low. 😩
It's interesting how people associate college students with youth. For instance, if someone is in college they are still deemed incompetent and lack maturity to actually live. But really, if you're in college then you're an adult. To make money and to live is something you are expected to do. To not want to "adult" is an indication that you shouldn't be in college.
