@@hymntubemeyou don’t sound ‘retired’ if working several side hustles, you need real estate where a check comes every month doing nothing! Maybe invest some of that money into passive income….
@@2Greenlid that sounds good, but there is a problem with sitting back and waiting for a check rather than continuing working. The problem is it makes you old really fast. Maybe we don’t work as fast as we used to when we were younger, but we’re not ready to have a foot in the grave yet. Continuing working, keeps us young at heart. ❤️
Managing money is different from accumulating wealth, and the lack of investment education in schools may explain why people struggle to maintain their financial gains. The examples you provided are relevant, and I personally benefited from the market crisis, as I embrace challenging times while others tend to avoid them. Well, at least my advisor does too, jokingly.
I don't think I need a finance advisor. I can manage my own money and investments. I don't want to pay someone else to tell me what to do with my hard-earned cash.
That's a risky attitude, My friend. You might be missing out on some valuable opportunities and strategies that a finance advisor can offer. A finance advisor can help you plan for your short-term and long-term goals, optimize your tax situation, diversify your portfolio, and avoid costly mistakes.
I agree with You. A finance advisor can also provide you with objective and unbiased advice, especially when you are facing emotional or stressful situations. They can help you stay on track and avoid making impulsive decisions that can harm your financial future.
I used to think like you. I thought I knew enough about finance and investing to handle everything myself. But then I realized that I was spending too much time and energy on researching, analyzing, and monitoring my finances. I was also overwhelmed by the amount of information and options available. I decided to hire a finance advisor and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. They saved me a lot of time and money, and gave me peace of mind.
I just found your channel and it is great to see someone speaking to the 40 and over crowd on how it’s never to late to build additional stream of income. I’m looking to add 2-3.
I started growing plants, buying packets of seeds and growing them until they are big enough to sell. I have sold £3000 since July 2nd on eBay. EBay takes about 1/3, p&p is another 1/3, so I have cleared about a grand in 7 weeks. Next year I will start earlier in the year, concentrate on what was successful this year and extend the season as long as possible. Hope to make a 10k a year side hustle.
@@FTYC2022 hi, not much to say except buy some seeds and grow them in pots or trays until they are big enough to sell. Package them well and sell them however you can. Car boot sales, garage sales, markets etc will reduce shipping costs, but they are time consuming for me, so I sell them on eBay and just take the hit on revenue. I have had to experiment a lot on seeds that I can grow easily, that slugs don’t eat, and that people want to buy. Foxgloves, mullein, lavender (slow to grow, but popular and I’ll keep some back to use for cuttings in future) etc. next year I will try doing organic vegetable plugs, like tomatoes, peppers, unusual varieties of things and then the following year pick the most successful things of the past 2 years and concentrate on them. This is my retirement fund, it’s something I hope I’ll be able to do well into old age.
You encourage me very much. I started over at 59 years young. And thats after a divorce, your content is so needed for people over 50 years young. Thanks a million
• Work as long as you can. • Live on a budget • Invest in the stock market • Invest in real estate • Invest yourself Wish you good luck in your journey
Thank you so much for this video but in these uncertain times it is more important than ever to have a solid understanding of how to manage your finances, invest wisely and navigate economic downturns. But my primary concern is how to grow my reserve of $240k which has been sitting duck since forever with zero to no gains, sure I'm all in on the long term game, but with my savings are lying waste to inflation and my portfolio losing gains everyday, I need a remedy.
Patricia's unique strength lies in her realistic approach which makes her different from other brokers who often set unattainable targets and fall short in delivery
I currently have 2 Etsy shops and just signed up for Amazon handmade and am in the process of starting a blog. If my calculations are right I should be making $70,000 next year and then doubling that the year after.
I want to say thank you. God always sends people at the right time. I have never seen your channel before and it showed up on my feed. My husband and I are looking to start multiple streams of income and you have given me the motivation to do it. You have a new subscriber. Thank you again.
Thank you for this video! I'm 62. A grandmother. I work 9-5 and just started doing doordash as a side hustle. I have worked part time in retail (and did telemarketing in the 80's when I was young). You gave me some good ideas with this video and I'll be checking out your other videos to gather more information. I hope you have a great day!
I'm just turned 59 and have been doing DD for three years. I've seen it slow down, quite a bit to the point that I need to do something else. These are some great ways to get started on a second and third stream of income. Wish you the best.
Hello there, I took am in your age group but I'm 64. I lost my income when I became a caregiver for my mother with dementia. I became an affiliate marketer with a program that doesn't require you to email people, call people, write an ebook, do videos, etc. It's really very simple for us seniors. It's very profitable in the high-ticket niche. I just have to send people to a zoom meeting and that's where it begins.
Thank you for posting this you have given me hope and more fuel/fire to strive to start building multiple streams of income. Im 40 and think that online there is so much content focused on the young ( 20, 30yrs old ) building multiple streams of income and wealth that it almost makes you feel that its too late if you are 40+
I began my investment journey at the age of 33, primarily through hard work and dedication. Now at the age of 38, I am thrilled to share that my passive income exceeded $100k in a single month for the first time. This success reinforces the importance of the advice mentioned earlier. It is not about achieving quick wealth, but rather ensuring long-term financial prosperity.
Investors should exercise caution with their exposure and exercise caution when considering new investments, particularly during periods of inflation. It is advisable to seek guidance from a professional or trusted advisor in order to navigate this recession and achieve potential high yields.
Thanks for sharing this. I curiously searched for her full name and her website came up top search. I looked through her credentials and did my due diligence before contacting her. Once again many thanks
What area(s) do you invest in? I've tried stocks and the company I worked with wouldn't meet with me unless I had a certain amount of money invested and I finally had to stop the automatic deposits when i was part of a RIF. I wanted to get into real estate after working as an apartment caretaker, but can no longer drive so can't get to the properties to give tours.
Congratulations Lawrence. That must be a great feeling. I aspire to get there one day. I’m 29 years old and I made the decision to start using my money correctly to work for me that way in the future I can be financially stable and independent from needing to work for someone else. Right now I am making 30 K a year net income in my current job. But I am in the process of getting a skill to where I can make 70 K which I’m sure will be about 50 K net and then I want to start saving until I have a certain amount that way I can invest, and at the very least, I can be financially free from having to work for someone
This is the most honest advice I have seen in a while. Especially the fact that it encourages people over 40. We have been remembered🙏 I am looking for my first side hustle @44
I’ve been working a full time and a part time job for a few years now. It’s not necessarily what I want to do but I know it’s what I need to do for my future. I also do plan on doing voice over work once I save up for equipment and find a space to do the work. Thank you for everything you do!

Great video. We are all seeking for financial independence and a better way of life. This is not difficult to achieve with savvy investing, a frugal lifestyle, and cautious budgeting. I'm glad I learned early on to work hard for financial independence. As Warren Buffet said, he has seen this happen many times in his life. Not an investor, My husband and i never earned more than a middle class salary. We plan to get retired at 58 with a stock portfolio worth $1.7M. We have never sold so much as one share of stock.
Most people don't understand the power of compound interest or are just impatient. However, I think it's better for the average person to invest in the S&P 500 and wait, which is reliable, albeit extremely long: many years, or just hire an investment advisor and accelerate wealth accumulation. Most people underestimate the power of the latter.
That's right, I've been backed by a financial advisor for almost three years now, I started with over a hundred thousand and I'm just $19,000 away from making half a million profits from compounding and dividends.
There are a lot of independent advisors you might look into. But i work with "LISA ELLEN SHAW" and I have been working together for nearly four years, and she is excellent. You could proceed with her if she satisfies your discretion. I endorse her.
I am a Sr. Program Manager Lead in the pharmaceutical industry. However, I do consulting work and manage an eBay business as well. Those are my main gigs.

Love this video, I don't often see anyone on TH-cam that praise a regular job on top of side hustles, I'm in that boat and it's good to see someone else who thinks it's a good way to go!
Thanks so much! I appreciate your support from the beginning. You knew this was great info before the world saw it. I'm grateful for that. Blessings to you!

With real estate it's LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. I owned 5 properties in the 90's and ended up selling them & filing chapter 7. If I could do it again, I would have purchased multi units, especially living here in Flint, MI
Let’s it’s location location location. But that just means you don’t want to be bad in a super bad spot. Class A, B and C real~estate. Go with B… when the economy is on fire class C renters move to your class B… when the economy is terrible class A renters move to class B. So when they say location location location … Just don’t buy class C or A…. And class A has the best location typically sooo ..
@mycaddigo In the 90's I owned 5 single family homes here in Flint Michigan. Sold them because folks weren't paying rent. If I could do it again, I most definitely would ONLY purchase multi units!
My mother taught me to hate the word “work”, it took me about a decade to change that four letter word into a positive. This man has embraced that word and it’s meaning. I too had a fool time job while having many side hustles. Recently I learned to make great tamales from my neighbors and last year I made and sold over 1,600. Im retired now and I feel 18 and graduating from high school again. I’m asking myself what I want to be when I grow up? I can build, roof, lay flooring and of course make tamales. I’m an old lady now (55), recently moved to another State and am ready to conquer the world again.

Through closely monitoring the performance of my portfolio, I have witnessed a remarkable growth of $500k in just the past two quarters. Becoming a millionaire through a Roth IRA or a 401(k) involves different strategies for maximizing profits. A Roth IRA offers tax-free withdrawals in retirement, which can be advantageous if you expect to be in a higher tax bracket later in life. On the other hand, a 401(k) provides tax-deferred growth and potential employer contributions, boosting your savings. The optimal choice depends on factors like your current and future tax situation, employer match, and investment options. Consulting a financial advisor can help tailor a strategy that aligns with your financial goals and circumstances.
Prioritizing effective personal finance management holds greater significance than the sheer amount saved, irrespective of income source. Consulting a certified financial advisor can offer tailored strategies to optimize financial results by reducing expenses and enhancing income, regardless of whether it's earned through employment or investments.
I wholeheartedly concur. At 60 years old and newly retired, my external retirement funds total around One million two hundred fifty thousand dollars.. With no debt and minimal retirement fund allocation relative to my portfolio's value over the last three years, I recognize the importance of a financial advisor. Neglecting them isn't an option; however, thorough research is vital to find a trustworthy fiduciary advisor.
I'm guided by “Vivian Carol Gioia” an experienced coach with extensive financial market knowledge. While you can consider other options, her strategy has yielded positive results for me. She offers valuable insights, including entry and exit points for the securities I concentrate on.

Great advice. I just randomly came across this video. I may decide to incorporate some of your ideas. My only issue is that I am also a federal employee working for HUD so anything in the real estate field is difficult to avoid conflicts of interest. So I am always looking for other alternatives for income streams that can avoid those conflicts. Best of luck to you sir!

Are there tools that allow investors to invest in companies before they hit the stock market, multiplying those potential gains that otherwise wouldn’t be available after the initial public offering.
Yes absolutely, but i would advice that if you want to generate multiple sources of income you let an expert handle your investment portfolio, this has helped me grow from $300k to $1.5 mil in less than 8 months.
I have used the same money manager for close to 10 years. We got in fairly early with a modest amount of money. Then it mushroomed like an atomic bomb. We had over 4 million dollars after GameStop profits in 2020/2021. Inflation has eaten away at the nest egg but we are lucky to have Loren look after it diligently like she has done the past 8 years.
I personally have my portfolio overseen by a NewYork-based wealth advisor 'Loren Lena Walker' she's well established and you'd most likely find her basic info on the net. However I suggest you look closer to home, sometimes to move certain amount of money I am required to be in NY.
Thank you so much for the advice! Especially your encouragement! I work 3 jobs and these side hustles sound very doable! Thank you again! May you have a blessed week!

@@hymntubemeyou don’t sound ‘retired’ if working several side hustles, you need real estate where a check comes every month doing nothing! Maybe invest some of that money into passive income….
@@2Greenlid Right now I do not have any money to invest. In time. In time.
Good for you! You’re doing great. Keep going. 🎉
This is the first time I’ve ever watched your video. I love that you kept adding “over the age of 40”. It’s needed and encouraging.
Yes. Needed and encouraged ❤
I love that as well. Age is many more times than not, just a number
“The best person who’s going to take care of the old you is the young you.” Pure gold! How you relate to your future self is everything.
They saved me a lot of time and money, and gave me peace of mind.
how did you find a good finance advisor? How do you know if they are trustworthy and competent?
I just found your channel and it is great to see someone speaking to the 40 and over crowd on how it’s never to late to build additional stream of income. I’m looking to add 2-3.
I started growing plants, buying packets of seeds and growing them until they are big enough to sell. I have sold £3000 since July 2nd on eBay. EBay takes about 1/3, p&p is another 1/3, so I have cleared about a grand in 7 weeks. Next year I will start earlier in the year, concentrate on what was successful this year and extend the season as long as possible. Hope to make a 10k a year side hustle.
I just started gardening and its now become a passion. I would love to know more about how you are doing this!
Good job👍🏽, u can let the perennials self seed . Then grow them on + sell ..or just collect flower heads for seed
Are you shipping the plants?
@@Jo-xg6rk do you think it's best to sell the flowers whole or just the seeds?

Same boat over here. I'm 52. I wish you nothing but success.
I'm 50 and I have one full time job . At $19 an hour in the los Angeles area. It's tuff ,so I'm trying to get a side hustle
I'm pushing 40, and feeling what a lot of men my age feel. Money is a huge part of it. I appreciate your video and the advice given in it.
Most people today have been having a lot of failures in investing because of poor orientation and bad experts.
It's wise to seek professional guidance when building a strong financial portfolio due to it's complexity.
I think I'm blessed if not I wouldn't have met someone who is as spectacular as Patricia Strain
Talking to an expert like Patricia Strain to reshape your portfolio is a very smart move
Patricia's unique strength lies in her realistic approach which makes her different from other brokers who often set unattainable targets and fall short in delivery

Bless you all.

Do you mind sharing info on the adviser who assisted you? I'm 39 now and would love to grow my stock portfolio and plan my retirement
My side hustle is being a notary, but I've always wanted to be a voiceover actor. Will be looking for that video. Just found you today.

Please can you leave the info of your investment advisor here? I’m in dire need for one.
There are a lot of independent advisors you might look into. But i work with "LISA ELLEN SHAW" and I have been working together for nearly four years, and she is excellent. You could proceed with her if she satisfies your discretion. I endorse her.

So when they say location location location …
Just don’t buy class C or A….
55 is not old, I have you by 2 years. lol Go and conquer 🙂

I'm guided by “Vivian Carol Gioia” an experienced coach with extensive financial market knowledge. While you can consider other options, her strategy has yielded positive results for me. She offers valuable insights, including entry and exit points for the securities I concentrate on.
@@Rachadrian Thank you for the information. I conducted my own research and your advisor appears to be highly skilled and knowledgeable. I've sent her an email and arranged a phone call. Her expertise is impressive, and I'm eagerly anticipating our conversation.
Hi!! I am Consuelo, a venezuelan 71 years old woman who is going to migrate to Atlanta Georgia soon. I really enjoyed your video. Thanks a lot!!
Best of luck!
Great stuff you are highly motivated! I dont see myself doing all that stuff lol. I want complete passiviitly so I heavily invest in stock maret (ETF's, dividend stocks, etc) Possibly get into some RE soon and maybe side consulting one day , thanks!
Just subscribed….You give good information thank you. I want to do this with my first house…hello from NC…I love voice overs….Side job allowed me to payoff my student loans….Im needing streams of income now….will be taking a look at your videos…
Dear Uncle, mad respect for you ❤ i have 4 children, working a fulltime job, studying for a promotion and am setting up a business in artisan candy. I do it all for the above mentioned persons. But i have to admit Uncle, i am really exhausted at times.. i know i have to eat and sleep better and smoke less.. i right down all my goals and keep a bullet journal. I thank God everyday for the things i have.. but still.. how do you manage Uncle? Sincerely
I work for the government as my 9-5 as well. I use Daytrading and Travel Agent as my side hustle. This was a very encouraging video
Thanks so much
Great job. Clear and concise presentation. Lots of great information.
What are you looking to do? Have you thought about working in the cosmetic industry doing facial and makeup perhaps?
you might be fine doing a REIT ETF, but im still learning and dont know, just a thought i had, might be worth looking into
This is very helpful. I work a full time job and have started a side business in Real estate. I will look at your videos for rental properties. My dad did that for a long time. I will have to see how to get my first one
You can do it!!
Can you tell me what tools are available? or better still connect me to your advisor
It's amazing how i thought i was the only one that knew Loren Lena Walker. Glad to see more people having sustainable financial freedom
FACTS!!!!! I tried a few of the streams before seeing this video...and this brotha is on point. He's being 100% honest, truthful, and accurate.
I want to personally thank him for putting this good information out here. I would recommend that people LISTEN to him. He's not selling a dream
about "it's easy and you can do it by only committing 3 hours a week". lol lol
💯
I need advice on how to juggle both 9-5 and podcast after work
My main source of income used to be firefighting, then I went to flight school & became a commercial helicopter 🚁 pilot. Somewhere along the way I became a content creator. My channel finally hit 1K & now I have work to do in the watch hours. Thanks for making such an inspiring video 😃
You can do it. Consistent uploads. Don't quit. Keep learning. Double down on what works and listen to the advice from the experts....good luck to you...
@@SmartMoneyBro appreciate the kind words. Try to learn something new everyday 🙂
It's such a great video! I'm pondering going back to school to study Cybersecurity at 47 and need to save up for my daughter's college education. Definitely going to use some of these. Thank you for the video and your time.
